Orchard Hill Vintage Cottage

Come enjoy this magnificent view in Saluda! Relax in the swings or sit on the porch and enjoy the peacefulness. The fire pit under the stars is so Saludacrous! Our cozy cottage is just steps from Judds Peak and 2 miles from downtown, where there is always food and fun! The Gorge Zipline is located in our quaint little town and the Green River has hiking, tubing, kayaking, white water rafting, rock climbing! The towns of Hendersonville, Flat Rock and Asheville are just minutes away.
The space
The Orchard Hill Vintage Cottage has a big living room with a place to relax and enjoy the view. 2 bedrooms with one queen bed and one King bed. 2 full Bathrooms. The kitchen is furnished with all the luxuries for cooking and dining. Eat inside or outside on the deck with our unique tree table.
Guest access
The house is fully accessible. Use the closets for your storage while you are staying at the Round House.
Other things to note
There are many hiking trails all around the area. Saluda Nature Trail and Palmetto trail are just a few minutes away. Bradley Falls, Pearson Falls, and Dupont Forest are just a few of the many attractions nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Orchard Hill Vintage Cottage. The views were incredible, and the cottage was very clean, well organized, quiet location, and peaceful. It was a short drive to the town of Saluda, and about 20 minutes from Hendersonville. Highly recommend!

Mountain views

The property was excellent for 3-4 people. Well kept, clean and very user friendly. The view of the mountains were perfect, and Saluda, NC was quaint and readily accessible. There were plenty of enjoyable things to do within 20 miles. If you had any questions or needed support the hosts were readily available. Overall we gave it a 10.

Beautiful view and clean, open space

The view is truly incredible and the highlight of this home. The area is also really spacious and clean. The king bed is super comfy and we really enjoyed our time!

Well appointed, beautiful home

This was a perfect spot to stay while we picked our kids up from summer camp. Everything came with the house, down to the laundry detergent. The smell of the house was super clean - you knew the moment we walked in it’s been well cared for and well sanitized. Lovely home with excellent views. We will definitely be back if you’ll have us !

There are no words....

.....pulling up to the property itself is simply breathtaking. The view, the grounds and even the house is quite impressive. I am now convinced that you could build a round house and NOT feel cramped. More than enough space to not feel cramped. High end furnishings, appliances and supplies were VERY nice and appreciated. Pattie responded promptly to all messages and even worked her magic to snag us one more day of vaca at the very last minute. We will definitely be going back.

Stunning and peaceful

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the round house and were so happy we booked here. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, luxury finishings and the view is to die for. We only slept in the main bedroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. I have had back surgeries so was very happy to get a good night's rest. I really appreciated the hotel like amenities with the shampoo/conditioner. The kitchen was very equipped to cook. We were unable to use the firepit due to rain both nights but there was plenty of wood and a gas grill. My favorite was the swing chair. So relaxing looking at the mountains with a glass of wine. When we arrived, the next-door neighbor popped out to say hello and that the owner lived in the house below. Very kind. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. A joy to watch the birds and clouds roll over the mountains to recharge. We got married next to Pearson's Falls in Saluda which is not too far down the road. $5 to get in and such a beautiful place. 90 foot waterfall and a quarter of a mile walk back. Also we recommend Newman's Restuarant at the Orchard Inn. Brunch is spectacular and they serve dinner as well. Reservation's recommended. Saluda will always have a special place in our hearts, and we hope to return soon. The house was perfect for just the 2 of us but roomy enough for 4. The host Patti responded quickly to all my messages and even was able to move days around for us. She was wonderful.

If you are looking for a place with gorgeous mountain views from virtually all of the windows, then this is your place. The kitchen and appliances were great! That allowed us to prep meals and eat at the house- which we didn't want to leave because it is in such a pretty spot!

We loved Saluda so much we finally moved here permanently 4 years ago. And now we have purchased this unique round cottage and remodeled it vintage style. The view is simply breathtaking and the best in Saluda!
