Luxury Guest Duplex - 3 Minutes from Freeway and Close to Everything Else!

Everything you could want is included in this spacious living (1,800 sq. ft.) on the lower level with tons of natural light streaming through a dozen large, triple-pane windows. Complete with cozy fireplace and 65-inch smart TV. Lightning speed internet with private office for work (work??) or just keeping up with your friends. Plus, plenty of comfortable seating and dining for 6.

Relax on the deck, grill your dinner and enjoy the sunset over the mountains. In winter, snuggle in the living room near the fireplace or play games in the game room.

We feature 2 bedrooms--one with a king bed, one with a queen, plus a futon. If that isn't enough, we have a twin airbed and a queen airbed that can be inflated if you specify. Our bathroom is spacious with a walk-in rain shower with a bench.

After skiing, (or just because...) soothe those muscles in the steamy 7-person Bullfrog spa.

You won't want to leave.

Great escape in a perfect location!

Stayed here in April for just under 2 weeks and was extremely happy with every aspect this place! Very comfortable, clean, well equipped and most importantly great bed and pillows!!Location is perfect to access anything in the area and neighborhood is very quiet. Would book again anytime.

Lovely property in a beautiful neighborhood. Check in was easy. Very roomy with plenty of space to spread out inside. Kitchen has what you need for your stay. Very new appliances, full sized washer and dryer. We really liked the spaciousness of the bathroom and shower. Easy to get to downtown Salt Lake City, hiking, ski resorts, etc. Hosts were very helpful - would definitely stay here again!

Refuge

We stayed in this VRBO on short notice for a funeral. It was the perfect refuge at the end of some very emotional days. The home is beautiful, set back in a quiet neighborhood away from busy roads and traffic, and has everything one would need to be comfortable. Thank you Nancy and Chris for hosting us.

Close to perfection

This charming guest duplex was as close to perfect as a property can be: spacious, well-appointed, clean, and inviting. There are several comfortable seating areas and two dining areas that are very accommodating. I appreciated that new appliances and small details like labeled light switches made our visit easier. Nancy and Chris were very attentive, responsive hosts, coming to check on us when they thought we were experiencing difficulty and staying to chat. The house was VERY convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. I cannot recommend highly enough.

This was a beautiful property. Everything from reservation to check out went seamlessly. Very clean, comfortable furniture, GREAT shower there’s a nice little kitchen so you can cook for yourself if you want to. Beautiful Hot tub. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. I would definitely book there again, it was perfect for our vacation.

Fantastic

The owners and property are very lovely! The location is fantastic. I am a runner so I enjoyed the bike/walking trail that is very close. There is also a really nice park in walking distance. The hot tub is really lovely. The backyard is so relaxing! Such beautiful gardening we got to enjoy!! The owners are very thoughtful and we had all the amenities and kitchen supplies we needed. The mattresses are very comfortable!! It’s a quiet and lovely neighborhood.

Rose Cottage Down-time

Perfect location, amenities, comfort, and ease of everything. My husband was so surprised by my out of town concert surprise. Nancy & Chris accommodated our late check-in & night owl schedule! The house did have a few quirks, but was fully equipped with everything we needed and nothing we couldn't work around. If there was something we wanted, this place was close to everything! We definitely plan to stay again! 10/10

Excellent property in South Jordan Utah

From start to finish these owners are so kind and the property is fabulous. The owners have added many nice touches such as coffee, toiletries, and a warm and comforting environment. It literally is like staying in a five star hotel . The backyard patio is great for relaxing and outdoor dining and the hot tub was awesome. Highly recommend. Easy location within suburbs of SLC with eateries and grocery and gas close by. Lovely and safe place to walk as well.

Forced vacation, great location

I had to vacate my condo in Florida for 4 days while maintenance was performed on walkways. My destination of choice was SLC. VRBO helped me find a much better than expected rental with amenities that exceeded my needs. The 2 small issues that came up were quickly resolved with no impact to my comfort and enjoyment. I would definitely return. A first class accommodation doesn’t necessarily mean no problems, rather, if there are problems they are resolved quickly and with a smile.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed a week between Christmas and Jan 3rd. These hosts have thought of every detail. We had everything we needed and then some. This is a very comfortable place to stay and you hear nothing from hosts upstairs. We skied Solitude, Alta, and Deer Valley. Alta being the closest but just by a little bit as it is a straight shot east more or less. Any store you need is inside of 1.5 to 2 miles. Hot tub is a great bonus and BBQ. We would stay there again for sure.

Utah ski trip

We enjoyed our stay here Spacious lower level walk out apartment with private hot tub . Party of 4, my husband, 2 grown sons and myself. Close to highway access but located in a quiet neighborhood.About 45 minutes to Deer Valley. Alta, and Brighton. Comfortable beds and furniture. Beautiful spacious bathroom but there is only one bathroom.

The Perfect Place!

Five of us stayed here for five nights and it was the perfect place for us. We came to ski so had five people's worth of ski gear and there was plenty of room for everything. Added bonus was it was easy to unload the car into the apartment since it's ground level. The drive to ski was easy and the drive into town for great food was quick too. We cooked breakfast every day and dinner a couple of nights, the kitchen has everything you need. The beds were great, and the living room spacious for all of us to hang out together. And the hot tub was just what was needed after long ski days. It was also quiet in the apartment, so we slept easy too. Honestly, this is the perfect place and we hope to come and stay again!

Cozy and Spacious Apartment

This was a very comfortable apartment with plenty of space, including two bedrooms, a den, kitchen, living room and dining room. The convenient gas fireplace, with remote control, gave a nice coziness to the den/kitchen area. Appliances were top-notch and easy to use. Both kitchen and bathroom were stocked with items like coffee and soap/shampoo. Owners Nancy and Chris Grisel live upstairs and were easy going and very responsive to any concerns. For example, when I mentioned that the Kurig coffee machine indicated de-scaling was needed, Nancy took it and worked on it. Despite extensive cleaning, the machine still indicated that it needed de-scaling. Chris returned the unit, which was fairly new, for a new one that same day. On another occasion, the hot tub stopped working, so they got electricians out to repair the unit the next day. To compensate for the lack of a working hot tub, they kindly gave me a gift card to a nearby restaurant. My brother and I had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone.

Chris is a business owner/inventor of a device that reconditions forklift batteries. Nancy is a data analyst for infectious disease research for Intermountain Healthcare.

We purchased this house with vacation renting in mind--we've set up the lower level to have everything we would want if we were vacationing here. We live upstairs, but our goal is to remain invisible during your stay, unless, of course, you need assistance with anything.

Whether you're hitting the slopes, hiking and biking or just touring historic Salt Lake City, everything is nearby: 3 minutes to the freeway; 20 minutes to ski resorts; 20 minutes to Temple Square; 10 minutes to the Mountain America Convention Center; 20 minutes to the Salt Palace, and 15 minutes to the Salt Lake International Airport. Tons of dining out options -- too many to name here (but our favorites are included in the Guest Book.)

Everything about this rental says: Relax! and has been engineered to be the most comfortable place to stay. Nothing says Relax! more than a comfortable bed, so we've made it a priority to provide the best night's sleep possible. Curl up on the pillow top mattresses that provide just enough support, but also have independent suspension so your partner's tossing doesn't disturb you. Wrap yourself in luxury sheets and blankets and sink into non-allergenic just-right pillows.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property is so spacious -- 2,800 sq. ft. of living area. There is one living room with large-screen smart TV and fireplace with lots of chairs to curl up in. At the other end is another area to relax in with its own smaller TV -- maybe for the kids -- near the dining area.

The hot tub is its own special experience. Each seat has a unique configuration of jets to provide pressure where you need it most. The water is ultra clean and crystal clear - always.
