Lakewood Heights, a historic neighborhood nestled just south of downtown Atlanta, boasts a rich soul and a captivating past. Established in the early 1900s, it once thrived as a vibrant streetcar suburb, cherished for its close-knit community, charming bungalows, and proximity to the former Lakewood Fairgrounds. This once thriving venue hosted the Southeastern Fair and served as a major entertainment hub.

Today, Lakewood Heights is undergoing a transformative revitalization, preserving its historic charm while embracing the future. The area is attracting new homeowners, artists, and entrepreneurs drawn to its vintage architecture, spacious lots, and affordable prices. Its deep cultural roots, tree lined streets, and convenient access to downtown Atlanta make it an ideal destination for those seeking authenticity and charm in the city.
