Haddon's 90 Acres

New 1500 sf home on 90 acres of woods and meadows with pond and stream. Home has all the amenities. Large deck and screened porch overlook the pond and woods. Hiking trails throughout the property show the abundance of nature. This is ideal for nature lovers and those seeking piece and tranquility. ATV and snowmobile trails are out our door. Caberfae ski 36 minutes, Crystal Mountain ski 31 minutes. Traverse City 34 mi, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore 54 miles, Cadillac 15 mi.
The space:
Large kitchen with island and all new appliances. Master bath has large soaking tub, seperate shower and double bowl vanity. Second bath has tub and shower unit with double bowl vanity. Second floor has two large bedrooms and full bath with double bowl vanity and tub shower combo. House if very open with lots of light, double 8 ft sliders to large deck. Large dining table seats ten. Stone fireplace with wood burning stove. Streaming smart TV in living room with Netflix and Amazon Prime. High speed fiber optic internet. Game room with Ping Pong table, Fosse ball table, and darts available at an additionl charge.
Other things to note
During periods of high demand we may require longer stays than 2 nights. Please contact us for details. Pets are allowed but at an additional cost. Contact owner for rates.

Fun with Family

12 family members stayed comfortably for the weekend. The well equipped kitchen and 3 full bathrooms worked out well. Having a large dining table and 4 bar stools worked wonderfully for meals. We had so much fun that we never turned on the tv or music. We had a family reunion right down the street (50 people attended). This place was perfect for us! Thank you Haddons!

Great location

Great get away spot with tons of property. The owner did not return my message when i asked him if there was wifi. We only had 1 bar of service which was fine but he could have let us know either way, preferably before hand. A welcome booklet would have been nice to explain the house and the property.

Happy Trails

Relaxing setting with the pond and the walking trails as highlights. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Host Dale was available, friendly and accommodating. Great choice for a quiet family getaway.

Wedding/Vacation

My family and I stayed at Dale’s place while up north for this combination event. This location will definitely give you the opportunity to be out in the woods away from everything. The setting is beautiful on 90 acres. There are mowed paths for walking or biking. You’re likely to see deer on most days. Dale has a huge selection of utensils, toilet/cleaning products for every need. We’ve stayed at an assortment of places over the years and I will say the pictures don’t really show you what Dale’s home has to offer. This is a very spacious house with a large upstairs area for another family to occupy, offering plenty of privacy for everyone. You will not regret choosing this vacation resort!

Great peaceful getaway!

Our family of adults and dogs found this to be the perfect getaway spot after the chaos of the holidays. The house is squeaky clean and a great floor plan. Unlike many properties that sleep a ton and seat a few, this home has a beautiful table and it’s more than adequate seating! The kitchen is much larger than it appears with a great layout for more than a few cooks! The land was great for hiking and getting back to nature. We saw numerous deer while we were there. Highly recommend!!!

Ski trip

House was fine. We enjoyed the stay. The driveway though was very steep and onep of us without 4 wheel drive had a very hard time getting out. Very nice host.

Great Escape

This location was very nice. We had a hiccup upon arriving but I was able to get in communication easily with the property manager/owner. (I definitely do not recommended arriving after sunset) My family and I had an amazing weekend with plenty of space for everyone. I would highly recommend this location. We spent a day at Sleep Bear Dune which was about an hour away.

Great Place!

Dale’s property was very clean and spacious. The house seems brand new and the property surrounding the house is picture perfect. The trails were very nice to have to take a quiet walk after dinner. We would come back again with no hesitation.

Great place to be away from the hustle & bustle

Nice remote area with walking trails, pond, campfire area, screened in porch, grill, coffee & tea and well kept interior and bedrooms. One small suggestion would be to add a plastic pancake turner/spatula for the kitchen. Otherwise we had all we needed.

Long Celebration of Life Weekend

Vacation Getaway

Having three bedrooms on the main floor was a plus. Master bedroom and bathroom very large and updated. 2 additional full bathrooms helped with acommadating our 13 family members. Large totally equipped kitchen and family room. Kitchen has newer appliances and fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots & pans. Sun porch and deck with gas grill. Many walking trails and outdoor fire pit.

Love this house!

Perfect vacation home for skiing and relaxing. The house was very nice and clean, with plenty of room and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped, ready to cook anything you want. Great location, about 30 minutes away from Chrystal Mountain and less than that to Caberfae peaks resort. The owner is friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place.
