Do not book this condo through VRBO! Overpriced!

The condo has definitely been flooded. Everything was cheaply renovated and dirty! Beds squeak, sounds like the people above were moving furniture every morning, my son found a hair on his bed that wasn’t his, sliding glass doors are broken, property itself is 2 stars at best. Unit is overpriced for what you get.

Will stay again!

We had an amazing time in destin! Condo was clean, had plenty of room for our 7 guests. The veiw was amazing and the kids loved being close to the pool. Thanks for a stress free vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. This was our second trip to Destin, and we allowed adult children to bring a friend. This space was roomy, we never felt crowded. The view is beautiful. We would stay here again.

Family Trip

We had planned the stay a year in advance to come down and enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches. And we definitely received that at this location. Beach was a short walk from our Condo. And the pool was great for my Nephew and his Friend that stayed in another Condo with my Brother. It was a lot of fun being able to look out into the water off the balcony and see the beautiful blue water and spotting dolphins and other marine life. Thank you again for letting me family enjoy your place! 😀

Nice location. Condo needs a little work, but still a nice place.

Very good location, condo needs a little work, Balcony door would not lock. Paint coming off of bathroom walls. Bathroom drains were very slow. Still a good place to stay.

Great location with private beach and other amenities. Had an issue with the electronic lock on arrival but maintenance quickly took care of the problem.

Great location and place to stay

The condo was on the 2nd floor so that was great! It was clean, the kitchen was stocked with what you need to cook and there was plenty of room for 7 people.

Needs work!

When we arrived there were dirty dishes in the cabinets and it didn’t look like the refrigerator was cleaned. Second bedroom had the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in and it was very noisy. The TV in the second bedroom did not work the whole time we were there, although management tried a couple times to fix it. Reading other reviews it appears this has been an issue for a while. Many pictures online did not exactly match up with the condo. It appears the owners of this condo are doing very little upkeep. On a good note, the view was beautiful! The outside around the pool was kept very nice which made our stay nice. We would come back to Jade East, just not this condo.

Impressive & Beautiful Ocean View

Property itself was in disrepair. Took pictures of broken doors on washer, 2 broken lamps, no remote in one bedroom, rusty tub drains, broken handle on tub in master bedroom, sink drain backed up, but most of all double bed was like sleeping on cellphone very loud and unfortunable !! Pictures taken. Paid early. Arrival and at 3pm was not ready.

Great location on the beach

Overall I would recommend this property. The high points are the location of the property, the beach, and the pool and hot tub. The unit itself was ok. The beds are all very firm. We were ok with the master bed but the other beds were too firm (and loud) for our son. Luckily there was a flip out mattress he was able to sleep on for our stay. The unit is dated and could use updated decor and lamps, fresh caulk and was missing a few transition strips in the master bedroom and bathroom. This was just unfortunate timing, there is construction happening at the building just west (Destin Towers) and we were awoken to the sound of construction noise, specifically a very very loud and high pitched grinder, each morning of our stay except Thanksgiving Day. The balcony of this unit is spacious and overlooks the pool which is fun. However it’s worth noting the pool noises are very loud with the waterfall and just general people noise (which is all happy & fun and didn’t bother us at all, just worth noting). We would stay here again if we could confirm the construction was done. I hope they do a bit of updating to this unit!
