The house was lovely. The beds were comfortable. There is a train that runs nearby but we could barely hear it. Gwen was very communicative and answered our few questions very quickly. I would stay there again! Thanks!

This was a last second booking, less than 24 hours notice, due to issues with original booking with another host. It was easy to book. We were worried about not receiving check-in information, which was the issue with the first place, we reached out a few hours prior to check-in time for the door code. The host responded promptly with the information we needed.The house was very clean and as described. The only things concerning were: pantry door off the track and leaning into the pantry, the hot tub was half full and slimy, and the water pressure in the master bath was very low, just a trickle. We sent an FYI message to the host so she knew of the issues. None of these things affected our enjoyment of our stay, but it may be to someone else. We reached out one more time to the host to ask where we would find the recycle bin, but received no response. Again, not a big deal, just threw everything in the garbage. Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. Everything met our needs.

Family Wedding

The location was perfect. The home was clean and as advertised. FYI, the coffee carafe is missing and the master bath sink has no water pressure.

Comfortable Overall

This house has a nice big kitchen which made it easy for a large group. All of the appliances in the kitchen are in good working condition and the kitchen is sufficiently supplied. The family room is big also and lots of seating. The beds are comfortable and the location is convenient to downtown and Barton Springs. There are a couple maintenance items that need to be cared for. The water pressure in the master bath sink is very minimal. There is a very loud squeak on one of the bedroom doors that woke others up in the night when using the bathroom. Also in the same room, the closet door is broken. The bedrooms have no dressers for clothing storage and there were no hangers in the closets which made it challenging for a week-long stay. We borrowed hangers from our Austin-based family members. Overall, the house was good for the price. With these maintenance items cared for, particularly the squeaky door, the house is recommended.

The property looks pretty much exactly as it does online. It’s well stocked with towels, cutlery, basic spices, and kitchen and laundry supplies. The location is central to many of the popular spots in Austin. We were just adults but this would be a good option for families as it comes with a crib and games. I took off half a star because it does need a few tweaks, the main one being that the door to the in-suite bathroom doesn’t close all the way,, it stays open by an inch. Wasn’t too much of a problem since I had the bedroom and bathroom to myself, but that may be a problem for other guests. Other minor issues being one luggage stand in one of the bedrooms was broken and so was the ceiling light in another room.

Bachelorette Trip

This property was perfect for our Bachelorette Trip! Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, and a great location! The only little issue we had was no laundry detergent or dish detergent in the house- we wished to wash some towels and dishes! Overall a great place and will for sure book again for any future trips to Austin!

Excellent all around

Property itself was great, plenty of space, well stocked with everything you could reasonably need. I did not have my child along, but the presence of child toys and plates/silverware was a welcome sight knowing how helpful that would be if they were. Everything was comfortable and both check in and check out were an easy process. The real star though is the host. They were accommodating and ensured everything was going smoothly and see if there was anything we needed. Greatly appreciated to know that they care.

Yard was atrocious

The yard was so grown up we didn’t feel comfortable going outside or hanging out in the backyard. We had really looked forward to hanging out in the hot tub. I texted the owner to come mow and he said someone would be out there, but no one ever showed up. It looked like it hadn’t been mowed in months. We were all very disappointed with this.

Fantastic Location

House looked exactly like the pictures if not better. Ample supply of towels and bedding available. Beds were very comfortable and blankets were super soft. Both AC and Heater worked great! We needed both during our short stay due to the drastic change in temperature during our short stay. Hot tub was nice and hot and clean! Check in and check out were super easy. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location/neighborhood was great! We were less than 20 minutes from everything. The only downside is that the house is located right near some train tracks that were very loud, we didn’t immediately realize it was the sound of train, but we got used to the sound of them pretty quickly.

There was an electrical outage, which put a damper on our last day in Austin. It was a faultless fluke. Itherwise I’d give it a 10.
