Captivating beach house that sleeps 8. Short 3 block walk to grocery store and beach. En Suite Bathroom has king bed, jacuzzi tub, standing shower and two closets to store your clothes. The two additional bedrooms have queen beds, sleeper sofa available in the den. Spacious kitchen, partially screened wrap around porch with ping pong table. This is an upper with a stackable washer and dryer. Streaming TV only, Amenity starter kit provided, private parking and shared pool. No parties or pets allowed.

Everything was great. The host was thoughtful, the house was wonderful. From our 5 year old granddaughter to our difficult to please millennials ( no harm meant to millennials ) to our own enjoyment of places that are simple but well appointed, warm but not hokey and clean but inviting, we all got more than expected.

The house was very large & the pool area was amazing! There are a list of items that need attention….towel racks, closet (in first bedroom there was no doorknob for closet)/main doors sticking or not opening, dryer does not work, kitchen table wobbly, no nightstands or lamps in the first bedroom. We did like that the pool boy came twice, because there is a lot of tree debris. We come every year & if things were maintained, we would definitely rebook.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming beach rental. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the shore—and we especially loved relaxing on the porches and enjoying the pool. We traveled as a family with two teen boys, my husband, and father-in-law, and the house provided plenty of space for all of us to spread out comfortably. The marsh views in the back were peaceful and added a lovely touch of nature. It’s an older home with some creaks here and there, but nothing unexpected—just part of its character. Overall, a great spot for a laid-back family getaway.

Excellent Location

We really liked the size and location of this home. It was close to the beach and well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was great for the kids once we tired of the beach.The reason for the 4 star rating is that there were some maintenance issues that needed addressed. We emailed the owner and someone was out the next day and fixed most of the problems. However, they were unable to fix the master bedroom doorknob which left us unable to close the door all week. I would recommend this property overall though!

Nice beach house

Older home but was decorated nicely. Nice poolArea & back yard. Only issue was there was a pretty strong odor in the upstairs unit. Smelled like dead animal or old seafood smell. Was worse when house had been closed up all day. Had to keep the front door open to air it out to be able to even sit inside. Reported to property managers but nothing was done to try & correct it while we were there. Otherwise everthing else was good.

Tybee Christmas

Such a lovely, beachy home for us to unwind and relax for a few days at Christmas! We brought a fold up Christmas tree made of felt, with velcro ornaments, so we were still able to enjoy our tradition of decorating a tree! The fireplace and mantle were perfect for the kid's stockings!The pool water was icy, so no swimming for us...but if a polar plunge is on your wish list then it would be perfect.The beach was a short walk away, as well as great take-out pizza and souvenir shops. We can imagine the town is packed with vacationers in the warmer months. The rooms were great and so was the full kitchen!

Tybee 2024

This is a super nice rental. The wrap-around porch is a fantastic place to hang out, play ping-pong, have your coffee. The views of the marsh are spectacular, the location is convenient to the beach and restaurants and shops. Having the pool is a terrific feature. The host was great about keeping us informed or responding to questions. Would gladly stay here again.

Great spot

Overall nice place! Needed cups to drink from for the kids (all they had were glasses which I was afraid the kids would break) and a grown up coffee pot. TV in front living room wouldn’t change channels. Pull out sofa had dirty linens on it. Was told that beach gear didn’t come with the property so we rented beach gear. When we got there there were a cart and chairs. Great location overall and close to the grocery store! Pool was great!

Relaxing and roomy. The porch was my favorite place and the pool was my kids favorite place. Well equipped, clean, beautiful, and spacious. We will be back for sure!!

Mixed Review

Overall we had a positive stay at this property. It was a nice layout for our family with plenty of room to be together and also in our own spaces. The shared pool was a feature I didn't think we'd use but did. It was a nice way to end our ocean swims. There were several things in the house that needed fixed that were crucial to our staying there. The bathroom door handle was loose/broken and locked one of our daughters inside. The leg to the eating table was so wobbly it felt like it would collapse. We purchased tools and fixed these along with other things ourselves as they needed to be done right away. When we pulled the hide-a-bed out, the mattress pad had been washed but not dried before it was put back on and it had gotten the mattress wet. The dryer was very noisy and, because it was adjacent to a bedroom with sleeping people, we could only use it at certain times. On the good side, the kitchen was clean which was my number one standard in a rental.

***Beware***

Beware of this property. Owner was quick to book the property responding to requests to book and answer questions. However, upon check in all bed linens were soiled and after contacting the owner through messaging as she did not respond to phone calls they were changed by the cleaning company. After our days events we laid down to discover there were bed bugs and were awakened disgusted. We quickly vacated the property and had to pay an absorbent amount to get a hotel in the downtown Savannah area because everything was sold out. Highly disappointed in this property.
