Blue Crab Cottage es una encantadora casa de campo de 1940 que ha sido completamente renovada, ¡incluyendo cocinas y baños! La cabaña ofrece todas las comodidades modernas que usted espera, pero aún así está llena de carácter. La casa cuenta con tres dormitorios y dos baños completos. El maestro tiene una cama King y una cama individual, y un baño completo adjunto con ducha a ras de suelo. El primer dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama king size y un sofá cama. El segundo dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama doble y un baño completo adjunto con ducha a ras de suelo. Todas las habitaciones están equipadas con televisores de pantalla plana. La cabaña puede alojar hasta 7 personas cómodamente.

Ubicado a solo 2 cuadras de la playa principal en una excelente ubicación en el extremo sur, a poca distancia de restaurantes, tiendas, el muelle y mucho más. Hay un porche cubierto amueblado con comedor y asientos al aire libre y una parrilla de gas. En el patio trasero hay una piscina en el suelo (17 pies por 10 pies) perfecta para familias. Great Get-away

We brought the dogs and had a great stay. Travelled in and out of Savannah, spent time on the beach, attended an event--it was very fun! The area was wonderful for walking, lots of people around and felt safe. It was also great for walking our dogs, morning and night. Beautiful island!

It was just OK

The blue crab cottage is not a five star property. The location is fantastic and it’s very clean. It’s also nice that everything is on one floor, which makes it easy to load and unload. The downside is that the pictures of the property online are misleading. They were clearly taken many years ago and the property has deteriorated since then. It needs a lot of TLC and refreshing to bring it back to even a four star level.

Our Family Stay at Blue Crab Cottage

Blue Crab Cottage was so adorable and perfect for 3 couples, all family, who stayed for 4 nights. Each bedroom and ensuite bath were great with comfortable beds and space to spread out. We came together in the cozy living room/dining room/kitchen areas, as well as, on the screened porch. The pool was terrific for lounging after a day at the beach! We would definitely stay here again and hope to plan another trip soon to Tybee!

Girl's weekend

This cottage was perfect for our girl's trip. It was decorated so cute and is a well maintained property. It had plenty of room for everyone, short walk to the beach, and only a short drive to Savannah. The pool was a bonus in the evenings after walking around all day in the Savannah heat.

Fall weekend

Enjoyed the property. Would not recommend paying for the pool to be heated on the fall. There isn’t a good filter system and it was full of palm berries. No way to get it clean.

Cute & quaint

Cute cottage close to the main "downtown" area of Tybee Island on a quiet street. Well stocked kitchen & bath. The pool was a small 4' splash pool that (unfortunately) was under a palm tree that dropped berries & leaves into it. Property management said it was scheduled to be cleaned the following day & it was. Too bad the trees didn't cooperate. Note- 1 bedroom was main access point to backyard unless you wanted to use front door & walk around the house.

Blue Crab disappointed

Much smaller than it looks in pictures. We had six and it was tight. Sprinkler system kept coming on when we were enjoying time on porch. Washer did not rinse or drain water. 2 bathroom towel racks were broken. Very chilly in winter even with heater. Pool took all day to warm up. Living room was difficult to have everyone together. Parking says it was free during holiday but attendants gave tickets anyone to out of state cars.

Poor communication

The house is adorable, small and quaint and located near everything. We did however have an issue with the pool. When we arrived on Monday August 5, the pool was full of leaves and debris. On Tuesday morning I used the 2 way text option that was available asking if someone could drop off a net so we could clean out the debris. On Wednesday I received a text stating the 2 way text was currently down and if we needed anything to call Tybee Island management team directly. So I called asking if we could get a net since we were willing to clean the pool ourselves. I was told they would send over a maintenance team to clean the pool. Wednesday past, no one showed, Thursday still no sign of the maintenance and then late Friday afternoon the team arrived and did a great job. Too bad we were checking out in the morning and didn’t get to use the pool. I called Tybee Vacation management team to express the disappointment. We rented Blue Crab Cottage for the pool, which we couldn’t use because of the debris on the bottom of the pool. I was offered a refund for the pool fee and was told it would be in our account in 5-7 days. The following Monday 8/12, I hadn’t received an email regarding the refund so I called to verify it had been completed, I was told the refund was processed two day before, which would have been Saturday. Monday afternoon I received an email stating a refund had been processed. I called on Tuesday 8/13 to ask about the date the refund was processed and I was told the 8/12! Which mean they lied to me about processing the refund the day they offered it and then lied again when we spoke on Monday when they said it had been refunded on Saturday. Had they told me they forgot, I could totally understand, but to lie about it is unacceptable. The cottage was clean, but could use a thorough cleaning. We found a toy under a table which had dust bunnies attached to it, the floor under the sofa hadn’t been swept as it was also pretty dusty and the fresh air exchange vent hadn’t been cleaned in years. Which could be why the AC struggled to keep the temp at 75. Would suggest updating the ceiling fans, only one out of the 3 worked well.

Girls trip

Close to savannah and the beach, best of both worlds. Hit with a hurricane last day which made flights questionable but we were able to extend the stay to avoid any issues. Love the cottage.

A Cozy Home Not Too Far From The Beach

This place was amazing; plenty of space, amenities, and in a great location for getting to the beach easily. You aren't beach front but that is okay for us. We enjoyed having the pool when we were back from the beach to take a quick break before heading out to do more exploring of Tybee Island. You are also within walking distance of some delicious restaurants should you get hungry. We had a van and a truck so parking was a little challenging as the parking area is kind of small. We made it work though, and had a few days where we drove up to Savannah to do some exploring there as well (only 30 minutes drive away). Overall the experience was great and I can see myself coming back, Tybee rocks!

BlueCrab Cottage

This cottage was really cute. Best feature was a private bath for each bedroom! Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. We would stay here again!

Great Stay at Blue Crab

We had such a great vacation at Blue Crab Cottage--our first in three years! We were close to the beach--a QUICK golf cart ride to any of a mid/south beaches on the island--and to restaurants and ice cream, and the local grocery store, but also in a more quiet neighborhood setting. The little pool is just perfect! Our girls LOVED it and hung out in there when we weren't at the beach. Rental Company was great to work with and helped out with requests--new propane tank for grill and water not going to brand new fridge--in less than an hour. Definitely recommend Blue Crab Cottage.

Thanksgiving 2021

From age 4- 47 we all thoroughly enjoyed this house! We cooked a complete Thanksgiving meal with an excellent appointed kitchen! 5 min walk to the pier, restaurants and shops They only thing I would say needs some attention would be the mattresses weren’t the best and would definitely take this place to the next level of upgraded…. We would definitely stay again!!!

Blue crab cottage

Dishes were dirty and had to be recleaned. House was very musty. There should be a privacy blind on door in bedroom that leads to pool. Other than those minor issues we loved it.

Prefect size and location for small group

We spent 4th of July weekend. Right near pier with shops, restaurants, bike rental and fireworks. House is small but had everything we needed- 3 bed/3bath, full kitchen and nice screened in porch with plenty of room. Pool in back yard was just the right size on a hot day instead of dealing with beach crowds.

Great location

Perfect beach getaway

This is such a cute cottage - on a quiet street so you feel tucked away from the bustle but just a few blocks to the beach and restaurants. We loved the screened porch and the pool! The property had everything we needed for a relaxing spring break trip.

Super cute house awesome location

Super cute house and awesome location. The pool was cute also. It had just what we needed to be comfortable. I’d highly suggest renting a golf cart but everything is walkable from house too. We will be back
