Wonderful place with with amazing views. Great location to start from for your daily adventures. Close to town and we highly recommend the Kinikin Processing Company to buy your meat. Best Steaks and Pork Chops we have had in years. The well equipped kitchen made it a breeze cook and just stay at home and enjoy the views.

Great family stay

This place was incredibly clean and has really nice updates. Really easy drive to Black Canyon and very close to lots of restaurants. Absolutely loved staying here.

The property was absolutely beautiful. After a long day of exploring the area, we would make dinner and sit on the deck to watch the sun set! I can’t say enough about how perfect this property is. Clean, spacious, private, great location, well stocked, comfortable beds and linens, and great communication with the owner! Thank you so much!

We had a great time at Meredith place. She was always available for us. The place is beautiful an super clean. Beds are confortable and I personally loved the tub. We will defenitly stay there again.

This house was perfect for me, my husband and daughter visiting Montrose to go to Black Canyon of the Gunnison. It had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. Loved the views!

We were a group of 5 adults visiting Mesa Verda National Park. We enjoyed this home, amazing Mountain View’s, comfortable beds, had everything we needed to feel at home. Would recommend this place and would stay here again.

Lots of space and privacy near Black Canyon

The house has lots of space for a family. It is very private, with a long gravel driveway/road leading past a horse farm to get to it.

Great home away from home!!

This property was the perfect setup for a multigenerational group. There is a large open living space with plenty of room to eat and relax. The bedrooms are located on either side of the living space allowing some privacy and quiet time. The views from the house are wonderful. There are outdoor seating areas both in the front and the back that were great for outdoor eating. The location was close to stores and a short ride to the park. It is a great set up.

Wonderful Place to Unwind

We recently spent 10 incredible days at this property, which we had specifically chosen for our off-roading adventure. From the moment we arrived, the property exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were perfect, especially the ample space for storing our trailer, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The house itself was a true gem—immaculately maintained and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and after long days spent exploring the trails, we truly appreciated the cozy, comfortable beds. It provided the ideal sanctuary for relaxation and unwinding. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. We can't wait to return!

Colorado Family Vacation

Meredith's property was perfect for our family vacation to Colorado. It was a great central location to take our day trips from to Grand Junction, Ouray, and Telluride. It was also a great location for spending time at the Black Canyon National Park as it was only about 20 minutes from the South Rim Visitor Center. The house feels like you're on a ranch in the country with a few neighbors, but in reality you're about a mile from town, so its really convenient. She had stocked lots of extra kitchen essentials and bathroom essentials to help make your stay more like being at home. Everything was very clean and Meredith was very responsive to our questions we had during our stay. If we ever get back to this area, we will definitely stay here again!

Best Cozy Cabin in Montrose!

Our family came to Montrose to visit relatives and were looking for a cozy place to stay during the trip. We could not have found a better place! In fact, the teens even said this was their favorite place out of all the VRBOs we have been to! The living room is spacious and comfortable with vaulted ceiling. There is a large table to eat or play board games (which are also supplied by the host). Each of the beds had comfortably memory foam mattress. The views from the panoramic windows were awesome. Communication with the host was clear and very responsive. The place is a little off the beaten path but we had clear instructions and that should not be a deterrent for anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable modern cabin getaway. Thanks you so much for making our visit so great for our family!

Wonderful place to spend the holidays

We had a wonderful time staying at this VRBO! My whole family lives in Montrose and this was a great location to relax and host everyone for Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend this home and host to anyone looking for a great home with beautiful views!

Excellent base camp for San Juan’s and Black Canyon of the Gunnison

We really enjoyed staying here. This property served our need for a base camp for Black Canyon and Ouray. Nice home with plenty of space. Comfortable beds and couch. All we needed and more. Clean and safe.
