The house was clean and as described. We would have liked some more towels as we were 5 people and there was only one big towel per person for a 3 day stay. The kitchen was equipped with enough dishes and utensils. It had a Ninja coffee pot and a Nespresso machine with pods. I didn’t see the basement . We didn’t use the patios of the outdoor space. It was nice to have a driveway.The neighborhood was ok. There was a stop and shop near my and a little cafe called Milkweeds which was delicious. There was about a 25 minute drive to city if Boston

Our stay was great. Victor was super easy to contact & replied in a timely manner. Everything was cleaned when we got there. Beds were comfy with extra pillows & blankets if needed. Could not think of one complaint if I had to. 10/10 would stay here again if ever visiting Boston.

The house was fine for what we needed. Very bare bones. I was surprised that there was no laundry detergent since use of washer/dryer was mentioned. Thankfully there was a grocery store a short walk away. I did not like going down into the basement for laundry. The kitchen didn't have much either. The towels were thin. Other than that we were comfortable and we were in walking distance of the train which was nice. And when we needed the heat turned on the owner responded quickly.

This house was conveniently located near the trolley (approx. 3 block walk) which took us to the trolley then subway to downtown area of Boston, so we could leave our vehicle in the driveway (which has a nice L-shaped driveway). The 3 bedroom / 2 bath house was roomy and comfortable for four friends. Large kitchen with plenty of ‘appliances’The host was quick to respond with questions about the house / the area…. We would stay here again if in the area.

Boston-Mattapan

Wonderful host & house. Victor was quick to respond to questions and got the propane refilled in no time. The little touches like coffee pods & tea bags were so welcome! Having a washer & dryer to use was great too. The area was quieter than we expected & an easy enough walk to the grocery/pharmacy if one chose to. The house was spotless and the linens were very nice. We will definitely recommend this to anyone going to Boston who doesn’t want to be in the downtown area.

Great place and location.

House was great well stocked and close to public transportation grocery and restaurants. We were able to go into the city easily with the ability to walk or drive to the T. Victor was a great host and very responsive.

The home was nice. Well kept on the inside. Not a place for someone with any form of mobility issues as the stairway to the 2nd floor is narrow and steep. We felt there was some misconceptions on how far away the home is located from the airport, grocery store, etc. If you times what it says on the listing by 2, it would be more accurate. With that said, Victor was easy to work with and we weren't in a hurry to be anywhere, so the place was nice.

Great place, nice neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely and clean home. Please make sure you double check the address as there are two identical addresses in Boston and I booked this house for Harvard graduation thinking it was 15 minutes away when it was actually about 50. However, that was my bad—it is listed correctly and public transit is convenient and close by.

Cute house close to plenty of dining

This house is in a great location and within walking distance of a grocery store and a lot of dining options. The area is cute and the house is well maintained with plenty of room for 6 people. Downtown Boston is about 30 minutes away (depending on traffic) which was quite convenient. Would stay here again.

Quiet and Comfortable

We spent 10 days at this residence during early May. Temperatures in the area were just right, 55-65 degrees and partly sunny most of the time. Most of our activities were all throughout Boston. We also traveled to Salem and Cape Cod. We did not try the train system but used ride shares, which took about 30-40 minutes to or from central Boston. This home is awesome. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and has a roomy kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and back deck to read or eat breakfast. The one large TV in the living room offered plenty of streaming platforms. Be aware there are interior stairs leading to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The grocery store, several restaurants, and a terrific local ice cream store are only a few minutes' walk. Our favorite restaurant was Steel and Rye, which has delicious made-to-order burgers and a unique Caesar salad. Though the home is technically in Mattapan, which we've heard has a questionable reputation, this area is upscale and beautiful, with friendly residents, and is SO quiet! It was a lovely stay for us.

A little outside Boston proper, good value

Overall a nice property. Easy check in and check out process. It's nicely updated. Outlets in bathrooms werent working, brought to attention of owner, so should be taken care of. Nice off street parking. In better weather, couldve been walkablecto grocery store and restaurants. Not a terrible drive to get to major Boston sights.

Temple Street

We had a pleasant stay. The house is cozy, clean and comfortable. It is in a convenient location with several restaurants in walking distance as well as a supermarket. The neighborhood is quiet with little traffic coming through. Victor the host was responsive and answered any questions we had. Would recommend without hesitation.

I stayed here with family members. We thought the property was very lovely and in a pleasant neighborhood. Everything we could need was in the house. We especially appreciated the toiletries and the Nespresso provided. Kitchen was fully functional. The property was very clean and the bedrooms and living spaces were nicely decorated. It felt more personable and comfortable than staying in a hotel. It was truly a nice getaway for us who were in the area to explore Boston!
