This place was great! The view was even wonderful we could see the pool and part of the ocean. The room was clean and bigger than expected. The resort is perfectly located in any direction you can get to beaches on the north shore in about 20-25 minutes and same going to poipu. The only downfall is parking is 40 a day and that to me was quite high. I can understand 15-20 but 40 was a pretty big extra expense. Overall it was a great stay.

Great Value!

This is a great value and was a perfect place to stay on our first trip to Kauai! Was great to be centrally located, made it easy to travel to any part of the island. It's essentially a hotel room at a nice resort but at a vrbo price! Great pool setup and decent restaurants. Room was clean, resort was also clean and kept up very well.

A real gem in Kauai

Superb location, courteous attentive host. The only criticism is the lack of a small microwave in the unit otherwise great, thank you.

Lots of Aloha

Thanks for the nice vaca! Condo was comfortable with plenty of room for our clothes and luggage. Bed was comfy. The resort was close to local shopping and airport. Beautiful! If you tried hard you could see the ocean but the beach was not usable, rocky and littered. The resort was doing rehabs which made getting around very difficult and sometime loud construction. The unit itself was very nice.We were unable to figure out the TV so didn’t use it. My granddaughter and I had a lovely time in spite of the few hiccups.

The project was disclosed in our listing before booking, and we're happy to share that it has since been completed on June 14th. The beach behind the resort is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the views, though the coral reef does make it less ideal for swimming. We're always happy to share recommendations for nearby beaches that great for swimming and relaxing. Mahalo!

Great location for us

Crystal was an amazing host. Excellent communication and very accommodating. This room is small but it was perfect. Great bed and a hot shower. The staff were always professional and friendly. This location is also close to airport in case you happen to arrive late at night. Thank you Crystal for everything!

Good, as pictured

Beautiful resort in a quiet (not near much of anything) part of Kauai. The property is nice, but some areas are outdated and need renovation and/or deep cleaning. The room was as described and has plenty of hangers.

Room is not a part of resort. You will not revive towels or any help from resort. Resort is not available to assist. Room is extra humid and climate control is nonexistent Room had cockroaches And there is no housekeeping The TV did not work. Texted with Chrystal and they sent someone once right as I was getting in the shower. If you’re looking for a nice room this is not it.

We’d like to clarify for future guests that our unit is a privately owned vacation rental within the resort, and while guests have access to the resort amenities, housekeeping and guest services are handled differently than when booking directly through the resort. We are always available to help during a stay and address any concerns that come up, including questions about the TV, comfort of the room, or anything else guests may need assistance with. Close to airport but peaceful and quiet location

After flying in to Kauai late one night (after 11pm) we were happy to k ow we were only a five minute drive from the airport. Being so close, I worried it could be in a flight path but we never heard a sound of a plane in our time there. The location is excellent - lots of restaurants within 5-10 minutes and it made for a great base to explore the south and east side of Kauai. I’d recommend this property for anyone, like us, coming to Kauai for the first time and wanting a central base from which to explore the island.

Fine for our needs

The resort as a whole is very nice and they are doing renovations to update the property. The room itself was just okay. There was a lingering mildew smell the whole time which while we understand we are by the ocean we didn’t experience this during our stay in Maui. The carpet was also moist the entire time and we feel is the reason behind the mildew smell in the room. Otherwise the room was fine and satisfied our needs while we were there, just a bit of updating in the room itself would make this place great. No other issues

Quiet romantic getaway

Very nice place to stay on the KBR property. Facing a quiet pasture with the ocean off to the side was very peaceful during normally busy hours of the day. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you for having us.

Great central location for getting around Kauai

We stayed here and were able to enjoy all areas of the island. It was a nice central location. The convenience of the restaurant and all other areas of the resort were a nice plus. Great breakfast and food options onsite.

Beautiful Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at KBR. The grounds are kept up beautifully and it looks like more improvements are quickly being done. The pools are amazing as well as the hot tubs and a super fun and fast water slide. We also really appreciated the friendly staff. We also were really happy with the food. The room has a very comfortable bed and nice linens. There is a medium size refrigerator that makes storing food convenient. Crystal was easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great all around

Great 1st stay at Kauai Beach Resort. Room was just as expected, clean, great partial ocean view. Nothing over the top but nothing to complain about either. Resort is older but is getting a face lift and has pretty much everything you could ask for. Save yourself a ton of money and book this through vrbo and go enjoy this insanely beautiful island.
