Enjoy privacy while camping or the firepit while sitting around telling stories. Also enjoy the trails, rather walking, biking or on your off-road toys while visiting. This location is very private. It is so peaceful and relaxing. We cooked on the grill several nights and enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. Saw a couple of deer one evening and watched the bats flying around eating bugs.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Went for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle and it was great! The propert was in the middle of nowhere which was great! The kids had a great time with pleanty of space to run around and play and also with alot of woods to explore! Enjoyed time by the firepit and had a great time!

This property was great for what we needed. It was in a quiet area, was clean and easy to get to. We were just looking for a place to sleep that would be safe and clean and this was perfect. We only used shower, we did not cook or anything but there was a refrigerator, microwave, toaster over and grill. It was nothing fancy but I would stay there again for sure.

Just Book it!

If you’re looking for a serene getaway , JUST BOOK IT. Terence place was amazing. Quiet & Remote with all the amenities you will need. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, very relaxing and refreshing. Description was spot on the listing was in immaculate condition. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Terence for your great hospitality. We look forward to returning for future visits.

The Full Moon and Whippoorwills

We were in Greenwood for a family memorial service. One of us grew up there and knows the history of Promiseland, so three nights in the familiar SC pinewoods was absolutely perfect. We wished the place had a stove, but we had our Coleman and breakfast on the wonderful porch started our days off right. Thank you for a peaceful and restorative few days. If we return to Greenwood, we’ll definitely book with you again.

Remote cabin

The property was very clean and the owner was very nice to work with. A few issues at first but was taken care of by the owner. These issues were mostly a result of a previous renter that decided to take some things with them. We are sr. Citizens so a decent queen bed would be nice. Nice deck that we enjoyed eating some meals outside. We also enjoyed the quiet.

Very private

Very private location at the end of a dead end. I wiped out the fridge and sink because it was alittle dirty. There was dirt on the bottom bunk from whoever made the bed stepped there so we just dusted it off. We just needed a place to sleep before riding the ohv trails the next morning, so it was perfect for that. We couldnt figure out how to keep both ACs on but that was fine as well. Overall the property was beautiful. Would've loved to sit out on the porch to drink a cup of coffee but we were up and out before sunrise.

Thanks for staying and reviewing our property. We are sorry that you couldn't figure out how to use the AC. Next time please give us a shout out if you are running into any issues. Also sorry for the dust we've recently before your stay had some dry wall work done and with all the sanding and stuff the dust takes a while to clear completely. I will let the cleaners know to do I extra walk around to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Total fluke

At 10 minutes after check in time we had no luck contacting owner. When we finally got ahold of them a half hour later he said he had no idea we were coming until he looked on a schedule - he admitted he could tell we had booked it. We were told there was no way we could stay there and we were basically out of luck and would get our money back. Do not recommend.

As I stated on the phone. We were out of town in Florida is why we didn't respond quickly. The vrbo app has been having technical issues. It has also allowed people to double book. This has never happened before. We use Vrbo and Airbnb and have great returning guest. We usually get a reminder text or email of our bookings days before. that keep us on schedule. This has never happened before and we are sorry. But this was completely a default in the Vrbo system. We refunded you guys the money you spend and in additional for some reason Vrbo took the money they they get paid out of our account also. The problem was resolved the best way it could be with me being miles away. Be Blessed

This person is upset because they damaged our property and are refusing to pay the fee to replace it. They disobeyed the rules and removed things and left them in the woods. The day of check out I was sent pictures of how good they supposedly had cleaned things up on the inside. This should have been the first sign. Only for my wife to arrive to trash everywhere on the outside and outdoor fixtures missing that we later found in the woods. Now they are only speaking/texting in Spanish acting as they don’t know any English as you can see in this review. There is nothing dangerous about this place as you can see in all our reviews here and on Airbnb. Please disregard this review. These tenants have been our worst nightmare.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very peaceful! Cabin and property was clean . Loved listening to the birds at night and early morning. Host was always happy to answer any questions. Very easy to visit my family in Abbeville and Greenwood I want to thank you for a wonderful time.

Promised Land

Great piece of property. Unfortunately, we were without television or internet during our 8 day stay. The service provider could not come out to repair for a week. The day we checked out. I should have reported to VRBO immediately because I was not given any type of credit. I would suggest a towel rack or hooks for bath towels and a toilet paper holder. Otherwise an enjoyable stay. Thank you.

This is the perfect property for good peace and quiet. Remote location with plenty of privacy. Light the fire in the pit and light the grill and have yourself a merry time. Summer, Spring, Winter, or Fall there's no limit to mother nature and what is has to offer!

Have the entire space and yard to yourself. Its a place to fun outdoor games, romance, and just plain out lodging. Come out and sit on the deck listen to the birds in the day and crickets at night. This location is close to 3 or 4 lakes and just minutes away from town and golf courses.
