Welcome to Whiskey Woods! A cozy cabin to relax and enjoy with your loved ones!

Whiskey Woods is a cozy, rustic, well-equipped cabin nestled in the woods off of Junaluska Rd. Enjoy a beautifully decorated, peaceful getaway while only minutes to all the shopping, restaurants, and amenities of popular downtown Boone.

Relax with your favorite beverage in our hot tub while enjoying the beautiful view of the forest. In the spring, corn hole, grilling, and the fire pit are available in the large backyard for your family’s entertainment!

***4WD or AWD is advised in snowy/icy conditions.

The mountains are certainly beautiful on a snowy day BUT do not let your guard down. When temperatures hit freezing, black ice can be very hard to detect and dangerous.

We do salt the drive, as well as the front and back porch BUT please be aware black ice can form quickly and create dangerous conditions.

Please walk slowly and with caution on the porches and around the hot tub!

Please be prepared for wintery weather!

Family Trip

Such a lovely cabin!! Decorated so cute for the fall, very clean, close to everything in Boone, was perfect for our family! My son loved the hot tub and fire pit! Whisky woods had everything we needed and so much more!! 10 out of 10

App Football Weekend

We stayed for the weekend to spend time with our Mountie and her friends. We attended the APP State vs GWU and it was a blast. After spending all day tailgating and attending the game and hanging out with young people it was very nice to slip back into Whiskey Woods. It's so calm, tranquil and so peaceful. The house was very clean, kitchen fully stocked and the spa was an added bonus for us tired peps. We would defiantly stay here again. Careful with turning in, the driveway has some pretty deep pot holes.

Right Place, Right Time

My friends and I were looking for a quick getaway in the mountains to spend quality time together and escape a little. This cabin provided us with everything we could have hoped for and then some. Not only was the home perfectly outfitted with all of the best amenities, but the host and property manager made us feel welcome from the very start. Specifically, the hot tub was set and ready, the fire pit was quaint and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook each meal, the property manager was communicative and attentive, the cabin itself has a warm and open layout, the beds were comfy, and the list goes on and on. Also, the location was great because it’s far enough into the mountain and forest to feel secluded and safe, but it was also close enough to the Boone downtown area and hiking trails that we were able to easily venture off several times. My friends started talking about making this a semi-yearly trip ON THE WAY HOME. 10/10 would recommend Whiskey Woods to anyone looking to escape and have a sweet little adventure. Thank you!

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

The trip was a girls birthday celebration and Whiskey Woods was the perfect place to celebrate. As a rental, the owners had thought of everything that could possibly make for a wonderful experience. The location was great in that it was close enough to Boone and Blowing Rock if you wanted to go out and close enough for Uber Eats if you wanted a night in. Everything was enough better than the description and the pictures. Thanks for letting us share your home!

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at Whiskey Woods! The house had everything we needed including coffee and spices. The hot tub was a huge hit with our kids and the fire pit was great for s’mores. The welcome basket and details were top notch. We will definitely stay here again!

Welcoming at Whiskey Woods

It was the beginning of an annual ski trip for me and my friends. Between the welcome basket and a clean, cozy, smell good place, we felt just at home and so welcomed. The property owners were as wonderful as they come and are just one call away if needed. Very quick responses as well! I highly recommend anyone needing a get away to the mountains to stay here! Relaxation and Peace

My friends and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin. It was very clean and they even had a basket of welcome goodies! Hot tub is a 10 out of 10. The host was phenomenal and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going ok. Definitely, will be back!

Cozy Cabin in the Mountains

This cabin was so cozy and cute. It was decorated in mountain/farm house style and was ABSOLUTELY adorable. The house was comfortable and stylish. We stayed with three children and two adults and the place was perfect for us. The house was well thought out with efficient use of space. There was much attention to the decorating details and what you would need (washing machine, cleaning supplies, soap, dishwashing pods, etc.). In addition, it is located in a great area with lots to do in the winter from skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snow tubing, mining, axe throwing, museums, etc. We are used to driving in the mountains, so no concerns from that end. Parking spot was flat, but the road leading to the house was typical mountainous road. They even are able to accommodate your fury friends with amenities for them (dog bowls, chews, gated porch, etc.). The hot tub was an added plus after a hard day of skiing. We loved staying at this cabin and will do so again!

Whiskey Woods

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. The cabin was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was so cozy and perfect for our family. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The owners are so helpful and replied quickly to all my questions before we arrived. We would love to stay here again.

Fantastic mountain getaway!

Cabin was clean, well supplied And nicely put together. It felt like home away from home and we were completely comfortable on our stay. Property manager was attentive , Checked in on us, and was very kind. We will definitely use this cabin again!

Whiskey Woods

Cabin was tastefully decorated and has all the basic staples you may need. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. Manager communicated with us while we were here to see if we needed anything which was nice. Thanks for the use of your wonderful cabin and will recommend it to all our friends! Pat B

Great cabin

Cabin was exceptionally clean. Cabin, including kitchen and laundry, were well stocked. Excellent experience communicating with host including providing cabin information, answering questions, and promptly responding. The drive has couple rough areas in pavement, but we were able to access without problems. Hot tub was very nice and a definite bonus. The fireplace wasn’t working so that was a little disappointing, but the heating system heated the cabin very well when the weather was cold during our stay. The drive from downtown Boone to the cabin seemed longer due to the incline up the mountain but the view while driving was beautiful. The accommodation was excellent overall.

We had a amazing time. Whiskey Woods was perfect. It was exactly what we were expecting from the advertising. Our host was very thoughtful and left us snacks to enjoy. She checked in on us during the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. We were more than pleased! We’ll be back.

Stepping Into Heaven While Away From Home

This cabin is unparalleled to any other in comfort! The owner has included so many extra special touches making this rental feel so welcoming, more like a luxurious mountain chalet. It has everything you could possibly want while relaxing and taking in the serenity. The pictures cannot capture the warmth and hospitality you feel as soon as you enter the property. It is one of the best rentals my husband and I have ever stayed in. We are already planning our return visit!

Anniversary getaway

My wife and I had a great time on our anniversary getaway. The cabin was awesome. Our two pugs were more than happy. And the hot tub was great. Will return!!!!
