The Twisted Root offers a serene and spacious retreat, providing a perfect haven for those seeking a relaxing getaway. Nestled on 1.5 acres, this privately managed cabin boasts a picturesque setting with a year-round creek meandering around the property and lush wooded areas enveloping the surroundings.

Stepping inside, guests are welcomed by well-appointed accommodations featuring a large living space, dining area, and kitchen—ideal for family gatherings. The kitchen is equipped with modern amenities, including a double oven and ice maker. Every culinary need is anticipated, with essential supplies, cookware and dishes for entertaining. The Ninja coffee maker offers the flexibility to brew either a carafe or a single cup, ensuring a customized coffee experience.

The cabin's lower level houses three king bedroom suites, each with its own dedicated bathroom, providing both comfort and privacy. Ascending to the upper level reveals an additional king bedroom suite, a common sitting area with games, shuffleboard, and a foosball coffee table. The bunk room, also upstairs, provides six full-sized beds and a whimsical tree house fort, adds a touch of magic to the accommodation.

Outside, The Twisted Root invites guests to unwind by the outdoor fireplace, relish family meals in multiple seating areas, and savor the experience of grilling at the outdoor barbecue with a convenient prep area. An outdoor refrigerator keeps beverages chilled, while an outdoor pool table, custom play set for kids, horseshoe game, and a fire pit under the stars offer entertainment options for every age.

I’ve gone to broken bow the last 8 years , twice a year with big groups of family and friends to stay in cabins and hunt/lake it up, we’ve stayed in some very nice places. I think this one took the winners circle tho. Very nice interior , All the ladies loved it , the creek behind the cabin with the running waterfall sound , hot tub, camp fire ,stars moon , Hit the spotwell. Awesome place , the bunk bed room for all the kids was cool. Playground also very cool for the kids. Double stoves in the kitchen was dope for cooking. Grilled out , watched some football, wished I got a deer but I’ll be back.

This is a great house for a large group! We had a wonderful time. Loved the king-sized beds with en suite bathrooms for adults and the bunk room for the kids. There was plenty for everyone to do. Would go again for sure

Wonderful Pre-Christmas Time at Cabin

Our family of 15 stayed here before Christmas. It was a wonderful house that easily fit all of 8 adults and 7 children. We have stayed at many cabins in BB, and this one was one of the best. The owners left us a Christmas gift! The house was very well equipped. Lots of soft blankets!! Kitchen was great. The creek behind the house was amazing! Probably one of the deepest parts of the creek. The area was nice and quite. Not on top of another cabin. We loved it! Hope to come back again.

Best cabin trip so far

My group of friends and I come to Broken Bow every year for an annual cabin trip. This is our 3rd year in a row now, and we all agreed that this was our favorite cabin! Price was extremely reasonable for the amount of amenities, space, and service/cleanliness brought by the host. My only complaint would probably be that the pool sticks for the pool table were getting visibly worn and torn (but what else can you ask for with an outdoor pool table?). Wish the hot tub and campfire weren't so far away from the rest of the cabin, but aside from those two, we really enjoyed the open layout of the cabin. This brought all of us together in a really wholesome way. Host was quick to respond to questions/concerns, ample amount of kitchen utensils, so many other things we could add! Thank you for a wonderful cabin experience.

Fall break

Family trip

The layout was our favorite aspect of this home. It’s a great home for kids, especially the upstairs. Lots of activities and cool bunk beds. We had a family of 11 stay comfortably. We also had family drop in for dinner and we all were comfortable. This home is pet friendly but there is a pet fee to be aware of. Also, the address given doesn’t exactly lead you to the home so we had to drive around a little until we found it. Beautiful home and would definitely recommend to a large family needing room and wonderful scenery!

The Perfect Family Getaway!

We were a group of 9 from 9yr old to grandparents. The house was more than amazing and literally had everything we could possibly need for our 5 day stay. From the games to keep the family entertained to the creek which we explored and walked. We spend a lot of time hanging out on the deck playing pool, hot tub, cooking and just enjoying the beautiful view. We have been to many vacation rentals and this property definitely exceeded our expectations! Thank you to the hosts for making this such a dream home!!!!

Great location, great owners, great amenities great just everything. The house is just fantastic for a large party with ample space and very comfortable beds. They have all the amenities for all age groups. Owner was very welcoming and communication was just great. We will be returning for sure…

Doesn’t get any better

There isn’t a single thing I’d change about this house. We have rented in Broken Bow, Pigeon Forge, Mexico, Texoma, and many more. This is one of the best places hands down. Communication w the owners is flawless. The house comes equipped w everything needed. The upkeep is great. The cleanliness is great. We will book this place again. Location is perfect! You will not be disappointed.

Perfect for a large group!

Our family stayed at the Twisted Root for an extended weekend. The cabin is beautiful, laid out well, spacious and well equipped. We had 10 people, ages 2 to 81. We chose the cabin for the 4 master suites and bunk room for the kids. The cabin offered a variety of activities for the kids, with a really cool bunk room, game room (pool table and shuffleboard). We also enjoyed the outdoor games on the deck, and hot tub as well as the outdoor dining area, outdoor fireplace, and outdoor couch with TV. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. There was plenty of seating indoors for dinners and games. We had such a wonderful weekend! We would highly recommend this cabin and the hosts were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had! We will absolutely be back!!

December to Remember

We had a family get together to celebrate my wife's birthday with children and grandchilren. The house was beautiful, all nicely decorated for the holidays abd well furnished. The owners were very responsive and informative as we had numerous questions about the furnishings before our arrival. The house was well equipped and contained numerous items we don't always find in a VRBO rental such as an ample supply of coffee, various teas, spices, cooking oils, vinegar, etc. We would definitely return.

Great place for family with kids!

Kitchen has everything you need. I was concerned if there would be enough casserole dishes for what we were planning on cooking and there was several to choose from. Blender, pans, grill tools, everything! Great deck overlooking beautiful stream. Fire pit looked like it would be great in cooler months, it was too hot when we were there. Property owner was very responsive and took care of any isssues we had.

The cabin and the entire property is stunning! The eight kids had a blast playing in the creek the entire weekend! There were so many well thought out details that made the inside cozy and comfortable. My group of fifteen had so much space and made the best memories at The Twisted Root!

Amazing cabin!

Everything was perfect. We came with extended family (6 adults & 3 teens) and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out & be comfy. The stream/creek right behind the cabin was flowing and deep enough in a few parts to “swim”. We saw small fish, minnows, crayfish, birds (a golden-crowned night heron pair!) and frogs. All of the amenities went above and beyond what we usually find in cabins in Hochatown. The owners were so friendly and easy to get in touch with, providing a ton of extra, fun info about things in town that even we didn’t know all of! I am very picky about many things when choosing a place to vacation, and I can say with 100% confidence that we will return to Twisted Root with different groups in the future.

We fell in love with the property for it's location, natural beauty and flowing creek. This property is 1.5 acres surrounded by various trees and a year long creek that winds around the property. Beautiful sunsets with tree lined views and misty mornings at dawn make this a special place to relax and unwind. We love to sit on the back deck level, upper balcony or in the hot tub and listen to the creek flowing by. The cabin is warm, spacious but cozy with plenty of room for family and friends to gather.

This property has a great outdoor space with a custom playset, firepit and hot tub that overlooks the year long creek. This cabin is surrounded by trees that make it private from other nearby cabins. Sit by the firepit under the trees and listen to the creek sounds. Or gather on the back deck with friends and family and play a game of pool or enjoy a family meal together. Our cabin/property is set up with multiple, cozy spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the company of your friends and family.
