Welcome to our charming home on the lake. Here you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It sits directly in front of Lake Lacoma in East Dubuque, Il and is a short drive to Galena, IL and Dubuque, IA. The 2 private bedrooms along with the 2 couches sleeps up to six. On site we have a canoe, and lifejackets for you to enjoy. There is a large deck overlooking the lake and lots of parking. Amenities included all appliances, washer, dryer, bathroom and kitchen items, smart tvs and wifi.

Our stay was great! We had a Wonderful time! I would suggest checking into the left hand side of the wooden over hang above the front door, there was some nesting of something that was able to get into the roof or walls, we heard scratching in the walls at night and before we left we saw a striped tail hanging down from the nest.
Beautiful view from the deck, my husband was the only one out on the lake

It was a very nice trip with great communication. There was a possible issue with the AC and the owners sent someone out to address it. I was able to get timely replies. My friend and I would love to come back! The views were stunning and the beds were so comfortable!

Cold but good

We got there around 1:30am after a 10 hr drive. Some windows were left open and it was 53 degrees inside. We closed windows and tried turning heat up but it never did get warm. I messaged the owner and they were pretty quick to respond especially considering it was the middle of the night, but at that point we had already gone to bed. Thankfully we brought lots of blankets and a heating pad that helped us. In the morning I called and it took about an hr and a half for them to come fix it. Thankfully they were able to! And they brought a space heater too. If you take advantage of the property being pet friendly, be careful not to let your pup go into any grassy area. Our pup came out covered in little stickers that took forever to get out of his coat. Overall the stay was good. It was clean and comfortable and the view was beautiful. They were responsive. If it weren’t for the heat not being on when we arrived it would have been a great!

Beautiful home for a relaxing stay

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to relax and we found the place to do it. The view was incredible. Linsy was very fast replying to all of my questions. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful getaway

This is a very cute comfortable property that is very clean, comfortable beds and good hosts. We had a few little hiccups but the hosts were quick to correct and accomandate us. The view off the deck is goegeuos and if we had time the lake looked like a place to explore, Definitely recommend if looking for a nice peaceful weekend getaway.

Long weekend get away

We needed a long weekend away from the craziness of our lives that was working 4 hours of us. This was a the perfect spot for quiet and calm. The host was easy to chat with, the house was perfect and the deck/view were perfection

Winter Retreat

Was a wonderful time at the lakeside cabin. The serenity of the frozen lake, the snow and the quiet was amazing. Prompt snow shoveling and plowing by the host was much appreciated. The cabin was appointed very tastefully, and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Definitely will make this a destination again.

Perfect place

Needed a place to stay for a short lil ski trip in eastern iowa, and this cozy little cabin fit the bill perfectly. Easy to get to and easy to find. Beautiful location, almost wanted just stay there and skip the skiing, almost. Lol

Quick getaway

This place was a nice location for going to Dubuque and Galena. House was clean, beds where comfortable and nice water pressure in the shower. Check in/out was easy, great communication with owners.

Best stay ever

Beautiful property! My family and I had a great time! Easy to book and the owner was very helpful responded right away to any question I had. Definitely recommend staying here! We will be back in the near future. Short drive to Iowa and galena Overall it was everything and more 😁

Great place

Our company stays out of town often, the guys get tired of staying in motels, so I thought I would give this a try. What a great experience Linsy was so easy to work with, the place was great. Will defiantly book again when in the area.
