This tiny home was not so tiny, and the perfect size for my two young kids. They loved having the loft space to themselves, and the patio as especially nice to enjoy in the evening after a day of exploring. The house was very clean and the host left a lot of instructions which were very helpful. There were a lot of nice touches which made this home comfy and inviting. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again.

The house was roomy for being “tiny”. Everything was well thought out for the space. Gwen is an excellent communicator and quick to reply to questions. The only problem was that we had to leave!

We loved this cozy little home. It was such a peaceful getaway. We really enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife in the area and loved the little nearby trail. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby as well. We will most definitely be staying here again. The hot tub and fireplace are perfect for cool nights.

Fun little place!

This host has thought of everything and more! We loved the outdoor space and seeing the deer everyday on the trail or even in our yard. The park itself is very quiet and private but there is some road noise from the main road through town. Loved being so close to town and Manitou Springs.

We had a wonderful time on this property. The listing is accurate and the house is a special getaway from busy life. Out of the way but still so close to everything. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, hot chocolate next to the fire and great movies after dinner. The owner has everything you need. Check in was easy, the location was easy to find, and the owner was so accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend.

Already planning to come back. The house was perfect with everything you would need. We had daily/nightly fires and relaxed in the hot tub. Close to town! It was a perfect vacation for our family.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay in Woodland Park, CO. The location was close to Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, and several hiking trails. The tiny home had plenty of space for our family of 4. We absolutely loved the outdoor space with cozy seating, fireplace, and hot tub.

Amazing

Loved this tiny house. We have never stayed in one and this place did not disappoint! We stayed 2 night for my 40th birthday. Gwen had everything for us. Blankets on the porch next to the fireplace after getting out of the hot tub. Just amazing! We will definitely be back! Oh and so close to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods, this place can't be beat!

Perfect (Big) Tiny House

We absolutely loved our stay at The Great Escape!! This "big" tiny house is exactly as described! It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided by our host Gwen. The home is so well thought out with a place for everything! Gwen was very responsive to any questions & has done an amazing job making this tiny house feel not so tiny!! The outdoor space with a hot tub & wood burning fireplace was just perfect. We highly recommend & would love to stay again!! Thank you Gwen for hosting us in your lovely home!!

Wonderful place.

This tiny home is perfect for a couple. Views are beautiful, the property is clean and nice, and the host/owner, Gwen, is super responsive, very accommodating, and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. The property is close to trails, and all the great sites. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Tiny Home!

We have never stayed in a tiny home before and Gwendolyn’s knocked it out of the park! It has everything that you need and then some. It’s located in a tiny home community but it’s in a location that you hardly notice the others around you. In the evening, you can watch a beautiful sunset behind the mountains. Gwendolyn’s tiny home has it all!

Great Outdoors

My partner and I just loved staying at this property and the Owner was awesome communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Woodland Park is a nicer slower paced Colorado town and this cabin is conveniently located to everything. The outdoor patio and fireplace were by far our favorite things about the property. Neighbors are close by, but it's very quiet and people respect each others privacy. The only negative thing to mention is the park has water conservation guidelines and can sometimes run out of water, mainly on busy Holiday weekends. Thankfully that only happened on our last night. We can't wait to come back.

Great Location for Colorado Adventures

This tiny home was exactly as advertised and as the pictures show. Communication with the owner was by far the best experience I've had communicating with a VRBO owner (I've stayed at 10 - 12 VRBO properties). My 14 year old daughter and I used this as a base camp for our rock climbing, rapelling, zip lining, white water rafting and exploring adventures. It was amazing to come home to and relax and recharge. And it was super nice to start the day from. I absolutely can't say enough good things about our stay.
