Alta Vista Lakefront Home: Walk to GOTL Strip, A\C, Priv. Beach, Sleeps 6-8-READ
Welcome to Alta Vista House! Beautiful 3 bed and 2 bath house in the middle of The Geneva on the Lake Strip on New Street. Historic Alta Vista (built 1906) shares the street with the historic Mary's Kitchen restaurant which is within walking distance from us and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summer. The beautiful Firehouse Winery is in our backyard! Guests at Altavista also have private beach access, shared with members and guests of New Street.
All 3 bedrooms are upstairs, all have a full size beds, as well as air conditioner units in each room. One of the upper bedrooms has additional space for an air mattress (not Included). Altavista can accommodate 6 guests with beds, or 8 guests with 1-2 of those guests sleeping on the couch. If desired, guests can bring an air mattress to set up in one of the bedrooms. Fresh linens for beds and a bath towel provided for each guest. We ask that guests put all used linens/towels on beds when they leave so we may know what was used and then be replaced for the next guests. There is a Ring doorbell on the side door and a Blink camera facing the porch in order to observe porch during times when renters are not occupying the property.
Amenities include: A fully stocked kitchen, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, glassware, silverware, charcoal grill, and outdoor porch with an outstanding lakefront view. We also include fans on the lower level and A/C in bedrooms and living room, picnic table, WiFi, a firestick for TV (logins for streaming services not provided), and private beach access. Please be courteous and do not litter on the beach!
As stated above, guests have private beach access on the street but there are many other attractions at GOTL and the Strip, which is walking distance from Altavista. Geneva has their own Golf Course, mini golf courses, playgrounds, various courts (basketball and tennis), various bars and restaurants, including famous Eddie's Grill and Mary's Kitchen, arcades, wineries, the Geneva State Park (larger and public beach access), Covered Bridge tours, local parks, and many other attractions! Since there are so many attractions, we included a few brochures for our guests, but more can be found at the GOTL Visitors Center.
Parking (up to 3 cars) is in a driveway that is shared by our neighbor so please be courteous park as close to our right side as possible. Guests may utilize the backyard grass behind the house if need be. Check in is 4:00 pm and checkout is 11:00 am.
