A staycation from the norm:)
Melodic Forest is home to NightShine’s Recording Studio, & was developed to help escape reality while providing a, all inclusive, sustainable & affordable trip!
We have a wide variety of activities and games at the our space and also offer tips to local activities/places to give you a unique experience during your stay.

Let your mind wander free with a variety of games, listen to the sounds of the night while melting stress away in the hot tub, travel to the stars during pool, & connect with nature in the forest along the trails.

We’re centrally located along Northeast Ohio, so it’s a short drive to all kinds of entertainment, wineries, nature preserves, sightseeing, dining, local shopping, & activities/events along Lake Erie!

The Master bedroom has a half bath with an electric fire place for ambience or heat. We also have in-room air conditioner if you prefer white noise & a fan(in the summer). The bed is super comfy, & the sheets/blankets are always clean for each guest:) There is a walk in closet to store your luggage, along with the iron, ironing board, & hangers. There is also a smart Roku tv that plays practically everything & has all your favorite apps!

We have a downstairs Rec room for a more exciting vibe! Plenty of games to play-pool, air hockey, 4 casino games, retro gaming, plus the Roku tv has an hdmi cable to hook up your console!

In the Live Room we have a dart board mounted at professional height & distance. Next, (one of my favorites!) we have a tiki toss game-it’s addicting! Lol! Finally, our main attraction in the Live room is our lovely 6’2 grand piano, we do ask that great care be taken as we wish to preserve this piano for many years to come :)

In the back patio/yard area we have a hot tub, charcoal grill, patio table, fire pit (w/complimentary wood), trash can, corn hole, & sun lounge area:)

Hard surfaces are cleaned with disinfectants/bleach, linens are washed with an added disinfectant, as well as dried on Sanitize in the dryer.

For your comfort, we provide:
kitchen/bath/hot tub towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, hand soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels/toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning/disinfecting supplies, & firewood..- plus, possibly a mini snack bar;)

My wife and I spent the weekend here for her birthday. It was a wonderful time! The house was clean and the hot tub was perfect! As a musician I loved being able to play the piano and we had a great time playing with the games in the basement.The host was incredibly communicative and provided clear instructions for check in/check out.On top of that, the house was in close proximity to many of the wonderful wineries and vineyards in the local area as well as Geneva-on-the lake.

Amazing property with lots to do. Kitchen had everything I could possibly need. Great communication with the property owner. A little dusty but no cleanliness issues. Fast road right outside led to some overnight noise. Loved it!!!

We took a week together just to hang out and have a good time here. We accomplished exactly what we needed! We will most likely be back in the future.

Great place, even better host!

There was a lot to do at this property. We really enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, video games, and lounging around watching movies. A lot to do in the area as well. Sammy K's Steak House across the street was good and friendly. Enjoyed the food, drinks, people and atmosphere. Had a great time visiting some of the local wineries. We ended up being there during a huge snow storm. Host was beyond accommodating. Let us stay an extra day. Offered to help however they could. Would definitely recommend. Hope to stay there again.

Relaxing Stay

The property was amazing. Enjoyed a walk on the trail behind the house. Hot tub was very relaxing. Steakhouse down the street was an additional bonus.

Amazing!

It was all great from the start communication was great she left all kinds of notes for us to make sure we had the best stay we were only here two nights. But, will definitely come back again it was amazing we came at a damp time so didn’t get to experience everything but next time will definitely be warmer! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for chill vibes and a nice relaxing sleep after a long day of fun!

Fun home and great communication with host

We enjoyed all the fun activities and personal touches. After spending the days exploring, we enjoyed coming back to the house for games and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Cristie was very attentive and checked in a few times and was always happy to provide recommendations.

Fantastic Getaway

The house is very comfortable and clean, and the owner couldn't be more thoughtful. So many things to do there, we didn't have time for it all! Very well located. We especially enjoyed nearby Lake Erie Bluffs, with walking trails and an observation tower, as well as the Sidewalk Cafe and Gartman Model Bakery in Painesville for breakfast and doughnuts.

July getaway

Vey nice. A lot of attention to detail...from the decorative theme to extra Splenda & Duncan Donuts cream. So many games to choose from that there's no need to go out! Everything was great! .... including the host!

Wonderful!

We loved this house! It was a great weekend getaway for me and my husband. Everything in the house was wonderful and we were a very relaxing weekend. It is also close to a lot of great restaurants and the lake. We will definitely want to return and spend longer than a weekend next time. Highly recommend you book your stay here!

Absolutely Awesome in Every Way

My wife and I were blown away… tickled, even by the charm of this beautiful studio space and the care that went into our time there being enjoyable. It has a phenomenal vibe and is at once funky, elegant, rustic and modern. Most importantly, it is comfortable, clean, and fun! I am a musician, and it was so cool to be afforded the luxury of being able to play a little piano when the mood struck. This place is a true gem. I think it’s perfect, honestly. We will be returning! Just book it!

Relaxing and fun.

Christie was a fantastic hostess. She messaged me often, offered help and ideas for places to go and things to do. The home was the cleanest place we've ever stayed in hotels included. We enjoyed playing darts, pool, ping pong, air hockey, and corn hole. We enjoyed a nice walk in the woods behind the house. We enjoyed nice bonfires and loved the hot tub. The hot tub being covered was great because we still got to enjoy it even though it was raining. Thank you Christie for a great stay.
