Cottage con encanto con vistas al puerto y magníficos jardines

Nuestra encantadora cabaña de 2 dormitorios con vista al puerto, así como hermosos jardines. Estos jardines han sido fotografiados para postales de Maine. Siéntese en la cubierta delantera y huela el aire salado y disfrute de las lanchas de langosta, veleros y las acciones de un puerto en funcionamiento.

La cabaña está ubicada en un prestigioso vecindario en Clark Point Road. No necesito un carro. Puedes caminar hasta la ciudad y cenar en restaurantes gourmet, comprar en boutiques de lujo, tiendas especializadas de vinos, quesos y alimentos, libras de langosta, un gran oceanario para niños, biblioteca, mercado de pescado y natación en el océano.

También puede marcar el autobús Acadia gratuito en frente de la cabaña para un viaje a cualquier parte de la isla: ciudades, senderos, películas. Puede caminar hacia la ciudad y alquilar una bicicleta y cargarla en el autobús para que la deje en cualquier lugar de la ruta. ¡La ubicación permite una gran independencia para todos, especialmente los niños!

It was fine. A good location and the beds were comfortable, but definitely dated. Couldn't hang out on the living room to chill after a long day hiking, its outdoor furniture that's been worn thin and incredibly uncomfortable But if you are looking for bare bones with nice owners this will check that box

The location alone is a wonderful reason to rent this place - so close to Beal’s, we ate there twice, and a lovely neighborhood for walking, with town just steps away. But on top of that, it was a good and comfortable home base for exploring the area. We had all we needed, and loved that we could stay with our dog.

Memorial Day weekend stay

Really enjoyed this cottage and location! Easy to get to Acadia and bar harbor, but southwest harbor in itself was a great location. Walking distance to great breakfast, dinner, and shops.

Over rated

The location of this Southwest Harbor cottage was convenient to Acadia, some restaurants, and minimal shopping. Views of the harbor were limited by waterfront homes. The cottage could use some updates, including better lighting, the furniture was not comfortable, and minimal supplies were provided. In general, the site was rough, overpriced and had a musty smell.

Wondèrful

This cozy little cottage had the perfect location with a gorgeous view of my favorite garden in SWH and the harbor beyond. It is a very short walk to restaurants and shops. We loved having fires in the woodstove. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. We definitely want to stay again!

Perfect location

Nice to be on quiet side of Acadia. Location great. Could walk to a free EV charger. Comfortable and clean.

Excellent stay

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Great location in a quiet area. Great neighborhood to walk our dog. Marilynn and Gary were amazing hosts and very responsive. I will stay here again next time I return to Maine.

celebrating end of Summer

My adult son and I spent a week at this location. We enjoyed the close proximity to the town and the ability to walk in town for coffee or dinner. The home itself was very clean and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We wished the living room furniture was more comfortable. Hosts were great!

Last minute get away

We enjoyed our time in southwest harbor. Beautiful area! Nice to be away from all the hustle and bustle of the park. Would recommend the cottage for friends and family when they plan to come this way.

Quiet street location; easy to walk to both dining and shopping. Also easy to drive to other areas of interest. Hosts had lots of books and other literature about the area available to read; they were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this cottage.

Nice Cottage in Great Location

My family throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There were no issues with the checkin/checkout process, and the description and pictures of the cottage were accurate. The cottage is within walking distance to downtown Southwest Harbor, and less than a half hour to the loop and Bar Harbor. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of four, and the owners did a nice job highlighting some places to eat/visit in the welcome book. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Wonderful location walking distance to shops and restaurants, lobster and the water. Cute little town with friendly folks and great access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The host/owners were very helpful and gave us some tips on where to go and what to do. The cottage is perfect for up to 4 people who can share 1 bath. Well appointed with everything we needed and the Washer dryer were an added bonus

Excellent location and proximity to Acadia

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. Wonderful location, within walking distance to the marina and many restaurants. Clean and safe area with so much to do near by. We enjoyed staying in southwest harbor which is very close to the park, butich less busy then Bar Harbor. The hosts are helpful and have everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The BEST

We loved being in SW Harbor in this location...walkable to everything we wanted...Birds everywhere. Great recommendations from owner (who lives next door) on things to do and places to eat. This town is great because you are close to Acadia and Bar Harbor but it's way quieter and more peaceful for that Maine getaway. LOVED it and will stay here again on another visit!

Simple, but functional house. Great area

The cottage was as advertised. Clean, functional, and well-stocked. Southwest Harbor is quiet, but very cute and walkable. Only 20-25 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Owners were very responsive to questions. Would recommend.

Marathon Weekend

A short walk to the finish line of the MDI Marathon and to Beal's Lobster. A half hour to Bar Harbor. Mid-October means much of the Southwest Harbor town is shutting down though, so don't expect breakfast out options. Nice location for the marathon. Clean simple cottage with space heaters as primary heat source. We had mild weather so not an issue. We made breakfast in one morning and had all of the needed kitchen appliances, pans, top of table items. Plenty of linens and comfy, quiet bedrooms.

Comfortable cottage in a great location

Southwest Harbor is quiet and pleasant, close to Acadia National Park. This cabin is not fancy but well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen has like-new appliances and all the necessary utensils. There is a large flat screen TV and reliable WI-FI. The beds are comfortable, and I enjoyed sitting outside on the small front deck. There is no air conditioning but the cool weather makes this unnecessary. Pleasant neighborhood location near the harbor and close to the center of town, I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our cottage stay!

Decided to take a quick Acadia trip (our happy place) with my 19 & 22 year-old daughters before the younger one heads back to college. We love staying on the quieter side of the island, and since we needed to travel with our dogs, this cottage was the perfect find. Marilynn is incredibly responsive - she answered questions almost before I asked them, lol. The cottage was sparkling clean, the beds really comfortable, and the deck was a beautiful spot for some pre-dinner apps & drinks. Easy walk into town and helpful suggestions in the welcome binder. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We have owned this cottage and the main house next to it for 35 years. We have traveled a great deal, but still find this to be one of the most beautiful areas to come back to again and again.

Very comfortable and practical layout !! Designed by an architect ! Love all the windows in the front so it it light and airy. Very well insulated stays warm or cool with fans or heaters
