With a king in the master and, queen in the guest room this unit will accommodate 4 people. Along with spacious kitchen and living area. Delight in the views of the mountain top and its scenery of changing leaves, snowy peaks, and misty mornings and warm sunsets. Accommodated with modern appliances, Wifi, and cozy furniture. Also enjoy access to the indoor pool, spa, fitness room and sauna. Sugar Top provides 24-hour gated security, a cozy lobby area, staffed front desk and parking shuttle. Just a short drive to the slopes, hiking trails, and down town Banner Elk. Come enjoy in this luxurious condo and book your stay.
Please be advised that the parking shuttle is run by SugarTop. Resort Real Estate and Rentals has no control over the shuttle system.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this condo unit twice since we absolutely love the view and general cleanliness of the unit. However, due to non working fans that are needed due to weather and fifth floor rising heat, we were disappointed. We also had a huge power outage without any lights/fans. We also had no working internet or tv which made our vacation extremely disappointing. These issues should have been addressed before our arrival and will certainly affect our future reservations here.

Great location

Sugar top is fantastic. Love the proximity to the ski slopes, tubing, and ice skating. The pool and hot tub helped keep the kids busy on the days with less than perfect weather too.

We booked this property under the impression that we were renting a standard, accessible vacation condo with standard amenities. Instead, this listing—managed by a professional firm, Resort Real Estate and Rentals, rather than an individual host—proved to be a severe case of material misrepresentation, logistical chaos, and completely unlivable conditions.1. THE DECEPTIVE PARKING CLAIMS & SAFETY HAZARDSThe listing explicitly advertised convenient "onsite parking." This was a blatant misrepresentation. There is zero accessible onsite parking at the actual building structure. Instead, guests are forced to park in a remote switchback lot located far down a steep mountain ridge at Sugar Top Resort. To get to the condo with your luggage, you are forced to rely on a shuttle service to ferry you up and down the mountain terrain. Arriving late in the afternoon, navigating this unlit, mountainous terrain and hidden parking lot layout was an absolute logistical nightmare and a distinct physical safety hazard.2. TOTAL LACK OF CLIMATE CONTROL (85F INDOOR TEMPERATURES)The advertisement entirely omitted critical environmental data regarding the unit’s climate control. Upon checking in, we discovered the condo features zero air conditioning—only heating units. The indoor temperature of the condo was a stifling, unsafe, and entirely unlivable 85 degrees. When I contacted the management firm’s 24-hour emergency service line to seek assistance or request fans, the representative was incredibl

Sugar Top is a high-rise mountain condominium complex, and parking is provided through the Sugar Top parking areas and shuttle system during busy periods. The shuttle is operated by Sugar Top, not Resort Real Estate and Rentals, and is a system that our guests regularly use. While we understand that navigating a mountain property can be different from what some guests expect, the parking and shuttle arrangements are part of the Sugar Top property and are not something controlled by our rental company. While parking may not be at the front door, it is all on the property. Guests are allowed to load and unload at the front entrance. Regarding air conditioning, this particular mountain condominium does not have central air conditioning as many do not. The property's location at a high elevation typically provides cooler mountain temperatures, and the listing information should be reviewed carefully for the amenities provided. We regret that the temperature in the condo during your stay was uncomfortable and would have been happy to address any concerns or provided extra fans if requested. We take guest feedback seriously and continually work to ensure our listings accurately communicate the property, amenities, and expectations. Perfect little getaway!

This place was wonderful! My husband and I were very pleased. We took our 6 year old and 1 year old. They both had so much fun! We went on a weekend where it looked like we were in a snow globe. The views were indescribable! Highly recommend this condo!

Not the owner's fault

Construction at high-rise. Noise. Debris. Water every where. Not owners fault. RRR was very accommodating and put in in a much better alternate location.

Perfect Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo had everything we needed - comfortable beds, beautiful view, functional kitchen, heating and air, hot water, and smart TVs. Yes this place has a small water heater so if you are blasting hot water from the showers at the same time you will run out within about 15 minutes. This was not an issue for us, as we took quick showers at different times. The best part about staying here is relaxing at the pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room after a day at the slopes. Highly recommend!

Some things were great, some good and some ok. Nothing terrible, just some hassles. The great - the condo was close to all the things we wanted to do. It was comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The good - it looked like renovations may have been underway but weren’t quite done. So it was updated but not totally buttoned up. Nothing impacting function. They answered the after hours number quickly. The not so great - when we arrived the porch furniture was in the living room on plastic. It was in the way. I had to move it back out to the deck. You couldn’t use the fire place due to wind. The front desk staff was not helpful in the least. Shuttled to and from parking.
