The Golden Sunset Villa on a resort with beach access

In Costa Rica, you will notice at sunset locals (Tico’s) and tourists alike stop to watch the sun go down. That is why our unit is the perfect place to land with a drink in your hand while you enjoy the spectacular Costa Rician sunset. This three bedroom, two bath, 1500 sq ft plus unit has a 180 degree unobstructed view of the ocean. Perfectly located just one villa from the public pool with the swim up bar, unit pool towels have been provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes, glassware, and cooking items you could need. The bedrooms all come with towels, bedding and very comfortable beds. In the last bedroom you have access to full sized washer and dryer. Although many come to Costa Rica to enjoy the heat, each room has personal AC units to adjust for your comfort. If that doesn’t work, cool down in the private plunge pool located on the deck. Because we recognize the importance in keeping in touch with loved ones, wireless high-speed internet has been provided at no additional charge.

On this resort you have the option of choosing to go all inclusive, make your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen or a hybrid of the two. The all-inclusive option, or credit on your wrist bands is set up with the front desk of the resort upon your check in at arrival. This is a secured gated community resort so; it is important you give us the names of all the guest checking in so we can provide enough resort wrist bands for all. There are three pools (quiet bubbling pool, swim up bar pool, and restaurant pool), spa, ping pong, foosball, tour desk and entertainment staff to keep you the excitement going. From 8am to 10pm free trams take you all around the resort from areas, restaurant or to the beach. If the tram is not your thing, the beach is only a 6 mins walk away. There you can explore jet skiing, banana boating, suntanning, exploring hidden beaches, snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving, and so much more. If you are looking for alcohol or groceries, walk only 10 mins down the street from the resort to find your liquor and grocery store. All of this is located only 20 mins from the Liberia airport, making this the perfect spot to put your feet up just in time for the sunset.

We loved this Villa. The view was spectacular and the location was perfect. The owner was extremely responsive we all of my questions since this was the first time in Costa Rica. We are already talking about going back. I would highly recommend this resort and Villa.

Nice condo in decent shape, very good value for overall cost. Close to resort pool - a bonus if you like activities and people, a detraction if you prefer quiet and privacy. Older unit but in good shape, everything you could need in the kitchen. Would recommend.

Beautiful Villa

We very much enjoyed our short 3 night stay and while the rain kept us from experiencing the property fully, we were very comfortable in the villa itself. Very impressed with how well maintained and stocked the unit is. Will likely return for future visits!

Ocean Paradise

We really enjoyed Villa Sol and this peoperty. It is in an excellent location, close to pool, short walk to restaurant, and close to shutttle stop. We loved the wet bar area, pool area, and beach. The villa has a great view and is well suited for our family of five with teens and adult kids.

Perfect Stay!

This was the perfect place for our first visit to Costa Rica! The villa was a great size for our family of 5, with amazing views, relaxing plunge pool, and spacious outside area. We enjoyed staying in a private property on hotel grounds where we could use the restaurants and pools if we chose. We would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

Great property and view ! Very clean ! Everything you need to have a great vacation The only problem we had was the lack of shuttles leaving the beach - at times over a 30 min wait Was an awesome first trip to Costa Rica - see Micheal on the beach for fantastic tours !

Great Beach Vacation Stay

Great villa with a beautiful view . Resort has many amenities for both adults and kids . Our property manager was there to greet us when we arrived and communicated with us throughout our short stay . Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy it all . Very friendly and family oriented place .

Better than an all-inclusive

Our stay at Villa Sol on Playa Hermosa was excellent. First, the villa is ideal for a small family of 5-6 people. It had all the dishes and kitchen amenities we needed to cook for ourselves. We also had the option of eating at one of the local restaurants or the on-site hotel restaurant.

We very much enjoyed out stay! The condo was spacious enough for all six people. Loved the outside patio area with the private pool and incredible view of Playa Hermosa. Pools onsite at the hotel were also great! One note to be cautious of are the raccoons and cats at night (rare during the day) but as long as the door is closed all is well. We loved our stay and would stay again!

Loved the villa

First time in Costa Rica! The Villa was excellent. Well equipped, everything we could have asked for. Raquel the property manager was outstanding. She met us when we arrived & walked us through the Villa. In addition she was always available through WhatsApp and assisted us in getting shuttled to & from the airport, organized a taxi & an excursion. Fantastic view…glad they have the trolley!Thanks Robyn for providing us with a wonderful villa on our first vacation in CR.

We had a great stay. Our concierge contact Raquel was prompt is addressing any question we had. Only issue we had, not related to the place or booking, was with parking at the villas check in before getting in to the actual unit. There was a tourist bus parked and took most of the parking space. My wife asked the person who was directing bus traffic about our parking, he was very rude and not helpful at all. Also signs are little confusing for this unit. For future traveler, please look for small signs on left before going up the steep hill.

Amazing View

Amazing view. Offers transportation to the beach area. Street very narrow to get from main office to the unit. Unit was dirty. Mini supermarket close by. Bigger supermarket about 15 minutes away in Coco Beach.

Comfy Safe Visit

The place was easily large enough for 4 adults (one couple). It is a bit tricky to find, as it is down the left side of the road and not clearly marked. The view is fantastic. Make sure you lock the slider door, as the raccoons know how to open it. The house is very close to the pool, which could be a plus for some and a minus for others. The food options at the beach are much better than the restaurant's buffet and more reasonably priced. Parking can really be a challenge. It is best to unload the car while it is parked with flashers at the top of the steps and then go park. The roads are paved at the resort but very steep and narrow. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the amazing view. The owner was very communicative. Thank you!

Great stay for first time visitors

My stay here was absolutely amazing! We loved our villa! It was located on a resort so we had access to many restaurants and the beach was just a short shuttle ride away. William helped us on site and he was PHENOMENAL!! He helped us get a driver and tour all the way to Arenal! It was truly a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

The condo is exactly as described (maybe even better!). Clean and spacious. Our family of four had plenty of space. The beach was great! We didn’t spend any time at the pool but it sounded like those that did were having fun.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! The villa is beautiful and the views are stunning! The people in Playa Hermosa and at the Villa Sol resort were wonderful and so accommodating and friendly. We did not do the all inclusive option and opted to walk to the many restaurants that are right on the beach (they were all wonderful!). We also walked to the grocery store to purchase necessary items to get us through our stay. Robyn was extremely helpful when we had questions about our trip. Our family had a fabulous time and fell in love with Costa Rica and it’s charm. Pura vida!
