Great Adventure vacation

Beautiful condo, well appointed. We had a great time and hope to come back someday. The weather was beautiful every day. The beach club is beautiful. The little town of Playa del Coco was very authentic and quaint. Beach Bums on the beach had great music and friendly atmosphere. Must do ATV, zipline, and whitewater rafting at the Tenorio River (water level low so not so dangerous as the rainy season).

Great Condo! Close to everything!

Thank you to Dave and Jane for a great stay! The condo is located in a great spot. Centrally located to everything. We really enjoyed visiting the Pacifico Beach club after a long day of beach hopping, snorkeling, hiking ,etc. The Beach club is an additional $50 per week but well worth the money. They have towels there and anything else you could possibly need. The condo is very clean and comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. It is really well done. Having the washer and dryer was so nice. Hopefully we will be back one day soon!!!!!!

Best. Trip. Ever.

My week-long visit to Costa Rica was just perfect! We were met at the gate to the property and escorted to the beautiful condo. Check-in was handled quickly and without a hitch. The condo is lovely. VERY nicely furnished, equipped and maintained. The patio balcony is the perfect spot for morning coffee or afternoon refreshment - the view is amazing. The property is very secure, and a supermarket is within walking distance. Walking to the village is quick and easy. We used the concierge that was part of the owner's team - she set up two great tours and also our ride to the airport. I highly recommend this condo and plan to rent it again when I return!

What can be said about Pacifico in Coco? The property is gorgeous—once you locate it! Finding the condo was an Olympic event as the complex is so large that even the guards were unsure where to send us, leading to a delightful tour of the grounds in circles. When we finally found our unit and took in the view, all was forgiven. The staff and owner are beyond responsive and flexible, which made us feel like VIPs. Plot twist, there's no elevator and it's on the third floor. Get ready to get your cardio in with hauling up luggage. Pura Vida, right? The unit itself is a gem: fully equipped, squeaky clean, with a spacious bathroom. Bonus points for the washer and dryer right in the unit. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas for your beach day, which is always a win. Plus, the market is close by, and the gated complex adds an extra layer of "I'm safe and sound." The cherry on top? An assigned parking space. No hunting for a spot far from the condo. I'd totally stay here again. The glowing reviews definitely don’t lie.

Everything and more

Everything was great once we got out of Boston. We arrived several hours late, around 10:00pm And the driver was waiting for us when we arrived and even took us to a store so we could get coffee for the morning. Cheryl Grant and her team, Ana and Kelsey were great. Kelsey set-up all our excursions, car and airport pick-up and drop off. Ana met us at the condo and answered all our questions and gave us some tips on where to go in town, all great advice. The condo was awesome, more then we could have asked for. The view was great and the kitchen had everything that you needed and more. The grounds were well kept and staff all friendly. Make sure to shop at the local stores. They have a fresh fruit stand across the street and we made amazing smoothies everyday. Shop at the local markets, eat at the sodas and be sure to get a pastry at Tico's bakery. Thanks to Dave and Jane for sharing your home away from home. It was the best vacation that we've had and we hope to be back again next year!

Two month rental exceeded all of our expectations. This was our second vacation to the area and without being over the top,there is no comparable property in area. This is a development that is built to North American standards/building codes which contributes greatly for the comfort and ease of mind on the renters. We are beach lovers and golf oriented who took great advantage of the beach club facilities and the close proximity of the various golfing opportunities (25 rounds during stay). All amenities including groceries, banking,drugstore, good restaurant are at your door step and for those who do not rent a vehicle the store will provide a chap to push your grocery cart to your door step for less than taxi fare! We have lived and traveled extensively during 40 years of military service Europe and SE Asia and this is as good,safe and comfortable vacation location as we have experienced. We are planing next years visit to same location after being home for two weeks to analyse our stay on this property. It is a winner for visitors who want a successful stay in central america.

Your Goal-Pura Vida My Suggestion: Club Pacifico condos

The 2 bedroom condo was spacious and can sleep 4 adults and two kids (if they want to visit you for a week or so). The main bathroom had an adjoining bathroom with a large tub and a separate shower area. Beds had fine solid mattresses. Kitchen had ample cupboard space but limited utensils and pots and baking pans , some which have to be replaced. In the realm of important things, this was a mere inconvenience. The pool area is the best I have ever seen in a condo complex. Well designed the concept of 3 lazy rivers and comfortable chaise lounges. We had issues of two appliances breaking down. The immediate response from David , the owner, was a true test of his role as provider of good services. Each time he immediately got on the case and all was resolved.Damian and Yannick, who manage properties, worked well as representatives of Dave. Thank you for an out standing service. Excellent view and amenities

We stayed in this property for 5 weeks and loved every minute of it! This unit has a view of the ocean that is not available in any other unit in the Pacifico complex. The complex itself is very nice and well maintained with three pools and several miles of paved roadways for walking and a nature trail for hiking. We saw many different kinds of birds including hummingbirds, mot-mots, and a pigmy owl. Howler monkeys were also quite abundant on the grounds. The beach club is a nice amenity and the staff there are very attentive. The condo unit itself is well appointed and maintained. The kitchen is very nice with plenty of dishes, glassware, and nice appliances. The master bedroom has a king size bed that is VERY comfortable and the master bath with large walk in shower and Jacuzzi tub is also quite nice as is the guest bed and bath. The living room with the large sectional is comfortable and roomy with a large flat screen TV. All in all, it is very easy to make yourself at home in this property. Cheryl, Ana, and Kelsey were also a valuable resource in finding tours restaurants, and answering questions. Dave (the owner) was easy to work with in planning our trip and answering all of our pre-trip questions. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and will return for another stay ourselves.

Amazing stay

We spent 2 months in this condo and had a great time. The owner and property manager were very quick to respond to any concerns. When I mentioned that I needed a few things the manager promptly brought me what I needed. He even added an air fryer to the kitchen when I mentioned it would be nice to have one! I was working during the stay and it would have been nice if there was a desk area with an office chair to make work more comfortable but it was not expected. They arranged for the unit to be cleaned weekly at no extra cost. The bed in the master was so comfy! The place could use a paint job and a little TLC but we enjoyed our stay immensely. The pool area at the condo is spectacular! There are 4 pools so we were always able to find a spot. The landscaping around the pools has been very well done, it feels like an oasis. We also took advantage of the Beach Club a few times. We didn’t need to pay a weekly fee as I read in the listing, they simply charged us $25US each to use the facilities but they took any food or drinks you purchased out of that fee. Worked out great! Awesome fish tacos! We had some trouble booking and using the pickleball courts. The complex requires an owner on site while you play. The complex is very secure and safe. It is a quick walk to loads of restaurants and grocery stores. There is a bank right across the main rood that our Canadian bank cards had no issue with. We drank the tap water the whole time with no issues. Great stay!

Excellent vacation spot!

We loved our time in David’s condo. He and the management team were great communicators and helpful with amenities and activities. The beach club was so nice and definitely worth the fee (which was fully refundable through drinks and food!). Loved the area, local restaurants and on-property pools. The condo is beautiful and comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped, clean, spacious. Only three of us but you could definitely fit a bigger family. View is gorgeous, parking so convenient. Short walk to pool, Main Street restaurants, coffee shops, dive shops, shopping and beach. Loved our time. Thanks so much!

Peaceful Costa Rican stay

Pacifico is a beautiful complex in downtown Coco. It’s easily the nicest and safest community close to the beach. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool complex is clean, relaxing and well designed. It is walkable to a good supermarket and a pharmacy, there are a couple of delicious, high end restaurants right out of the gates, and other restaurants, shops, and the beach are about a ten minute walk down the road. The concierge team is very helpful and responsive with scheduling shuttles and day tours. There were some cleanliness standards that could be improved upon, and it would be helpful to have a manual with instructions for how to use the TV, the dishwasher, and where to find the trash bins. Communication with the owner David was excellent, but I found communication with the check-in agent to be a bit lacking as we were missing a blanket for our son for the convertible bed and there did not seem to be urgency to locate one for us. These are all small things and did not inhibit our stay much at all. We had a great time.

Perfect family vacation

This condo located in Coco Beach is a 10 minute walk to the beach but there is a shuttle that can take you back and forth. We enjoyed relaxing next to the pool with views of the ocean at the Pacifico Beach Club. The resort has a good grocery store and new tennis courts. It was a perfect 4 night stay on the coast.

Great view and location.

This condo has a great view of Playa De Coco and Pacifico Resort is a beautifully landscaped, perfectly located property. If and when we had questions in relationship to condo or scheduling shuttles to and from airport the management team as well as David were very helpful and quick to respond. This is a resort for quiet vacationers. The pool area is real low key and closes at 9pm which is a reflection of the entire resort. It is a quiet resort without a party scene. So take that into consideration when figuring out what you want in your vacation. We would stay there again if we stayed in Coco again.

All around great stay

Our stay here went perfectly. The condo is as advertised - it was clean and well equipped. The Pacifico resort is fantastic. It is very secure, and the pools and grounds are great. Everything you need is a short walk away - groceries, restaurants, the beach, etc. Stephanie was super responsive and helpful, even during holidays. Highly recommend it!!

Beautiful Ocean View Unit

Wonderful location with plenty of things to do in the small town of Playas Del Coco. Many great restaurants and small local vendors for gift shopping. The beautiful complex of Pacifico can not be beat. The pools are very inviting and you are such a 10 minute walk to the beach of that is where you want to hang out. You can also find many other places to tour and there are plenty of places to schedule a day trip. You will love the many beautiful national parks and waterfalls that you can see and get back in town the same day. The condo has everything you want and need. It is easy to get to from Liberia and the property management will help you with all your needs.

Paradise in Coco

Pacifico is a wonderful resort with pools that accommodate the adults and the kids. Our kids, (4 and 7) loved to play in the lazy river. The condo is very nice and well furnished. We generally started our day with coffee on the deck and breakfast in the condo. In the evening a glass of wine on the deck enjoying the mesmerizing views of the immaculate grounds and the ocean. The views are exactly as the pictures in the listing show. The location was perfect, with a grocery store and the town right next to the complex.. We to return to Coco and this condo soon. A big bonus for us was knowing that all the proceeds from our stay go to charity...

So relaxing!

This condo was so clean and comfortable and had every amenity needed. We really enjoyed laying out at the pool and ordering drinks and nachos. The complex is very pretty. We didn’t have a car and it was sometimes challenging to get in and out with the gate guard. The walk up the hill was a good way to burn off those calories from eating at the Hard Rock too. Remember to turn on the water heater when you check in, we didn’t know about that. Thank you David for your prompt replies and setting us up at your wonderful condo for some much needed rest.

We had a wonderful time here. The view from the condo is the best in the complex. The condo has everything you need. We enjoyed the pools they are awesome. There is a bar and restaurant located near the 3 pools and it has good food and snacks. The Condo location is great, near a nice market and restaurants. We did rent a golf cart, to run around town and take to the pool. It was really hot and humid while we were there so we were happy to have the cart. The owner was great and very helpful. We love Costa Rica and Pacifico, we will return!

Jane and I live in sunny , warm Minnesota, but think of Costa Rica as our home away from home. We have three children, all grown and out of the house. This property in Pacifico is part of Canetani vacation Properties, a small, private charitable gift fund where 100% of the profits from rentals of these properties goes to charity. The focus of the charity is on disaster relief (i.e Red Cross), low income housing (Habitat for Humanity), and sustainable economic development in developing countries.There are currently four properties in this program - one a three bedroom townhouse in Breckenridge, Colorado, another two bedroom condo in the Coco/Ocotal area of Cost Rica and a two bedroom condo in the Waipouli Beach Resort in Kauai, Hawaii.
