Wonderful Location, Super Clean

We had a wonderful long weekend with our family. By far the cleanest VBRO I have stayed at. We loved being so close to the beach and park. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again. Thank you!

Wonderful Property

A group of us stayed at this property for a baseball tournament. The location was perfect for us. Super close to the lake, the kids enjoyed their time there and at the park close by. The house was very nice and clean with lots of modern touches. There was a very nice patio in the back as well. The property advertised a grill, but there was only a tiny charcoal grill when we arrived. I messaged the owner, and they responded immediately and brought a brand-new propane grill the next day, even though it was a holiday. He couldn't have been nicer. (the previous renters had not let him know the grill he had there was damaged in a storm until too late.) Would definitely stay again!

We loved the house! Everything was up to date! Including the Roku TVs. Everything was clean and made nice for us. The AC does not reach up the stairs the best but there are fans in all the rooms which was perfect! You are close to shops, the lake, and Nature preserves so plenty to do! We noticed a small ant problem towards the end of our stay but there is evidence of them trying to get rid of them. Parking is limited. We managed to get 2 small cars parked in the front and 2 more in the back. If parked right, a third could possibly fit in the back.

Quaint and Clean

We enjoyed our stay on Silvern while playing in the Softball World Series at Sportsforce Park. The owners provided all the necessities (garbage bags, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, TP, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, etc. Made our trip to the store for necessities much easier! The house is modernly finished and the mattresses are very comfy! Dane’s communication is responsive and in a timely manner. The house is very clean. The house is located close to Cedar Point, Soortsforce Park and NickelPlate Beach. We enjoyed breakfast at Lemmy’s just down the street. Highly recommend Sand Bar in Huron at Nickel Plate Beach. We also enjoyed Chet and Matt’s pizza in Sandusky! A cozy home away from home and would totally rebook the next time we are in the area. We really liked staying on this side of the ball diamonds. Other teammate families stayed in Sandusky and they were wishing they were more in our area.

Definitely a diamond

Everything was great. House is exactly as described in listing. Host was wonderful. Convenient to everything you want to do around Sandusky without the crowds. Only feedback I’d leave is need a new grill and some outside seating. Thanks again for great family memories.

Great get away stay

We were in town to visit Cedar Point for 2 days. This location is only 10 minutes away. The house is very nice and clean. The hosts are great at communications and making sure we had a fantastic stay. There is lots to do near by besides Cedar Point. Highly recommend this choice to families.

Convenient place for all the fun in the area

Check in and communication by host was superb. Location to all in the area Cedar Pt, Lake Erie islands and more so close. Kids loved the location next to the beach park! Was an excellent place for makibg some lastibg memories

Wonderful home for weekend trip to Cedar Point

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and the house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. Everything we needed for a relaxing trip was supplied and the nearby park was terrific for the kids to play at in the evenings. You can also see the lights of Cedar Point from the broken pier at the park if you need to take a late-night stroll. Excellent communication with the owner, everything was great.

Perfect Home for the Holidays

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Ohio. The house is completely remodeled and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The recent snow storm caused us to move up our arrival date up by two days. With only a few hours notice, Dane updated our booking and made sure the house was ready for our arrival. His customer service was great! We would definitely stay here again! If I could give this listing 20 stars, I would!

Family Fun!

Perfect place for the whole family. The kiddos loved the playground and getting their shoes (Nana got in trouble with their Mommy) wet at the beach. Fishing was fun for the whole family. The house was amazing. Clean, efficient. We spent hours at the table playing boardgames in the evening. Our 8 yr. old grandson did not want to leave. We hope we can return this spring!

Excellent location, relaxing stay

This is a well kept, updated house. It is located near the lake in a relaxed quiet neighborhood. The host provided everything we needed to ensure a pleasant vacation. There are 3 bedrooms located upstairs, all have a TV in the room. All the electrics are brand new, the floors look brand new. Very clean and bright. We would stay again. Sleeps 6 comfortable.

Awesome house!

This place was awesome! Only 3 houses away from Lake Erie. Super close to a small beach and playground. We were there for a softball tournament at sports force park and it was only like 10 minutes away. Cedar point park was also a quick drive away. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets so soft. The washer/dryer in the kitchen was convenient. The open layout of the first floor kitchen, living room , and dining room was perfect for hanging out in! Our daughter loved that she could play her phone music through the ceiling speaker in the shower and I have to get me the shower heads for my home, loved them! There were plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows. The owners were super easy to communicate with. Overall this house was perfect for us!

Great stay near Lake Erie

Our family enjoyed our 4 night stay very much! The house is newly renovated and lovely. It's located in a nice neighborhood near the lake with access to a playground and small beach area. Communication with the owners was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot in Huron

This location turned out to be perfect for what we needed it for. We were there for a week long baseball tournament at sports force park, and the 5-7 minute drive to the fields was very easy and stress free. We were one of the only families that didn’t choose to stay at great wolfe lodge, and it was absolutely the right call. Relaxing with the family at the house after a long day of baseball and/or Cedar Point was exactly what we were hoping for. So yes, we can say without a doubt that booking this location was a HOME RUN!!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our first family gathering since June 2019 and this was the perfect location for our family from CA, OH and WV to meet up. Our stay was relaxing and this house is conveniently located to local attractions. We went to Cedar Point, Marblehead, and Kelleys Island. The house is comfortable with updated amenities and has plenty of sleeping options and towels, sheets, blankets, etc. The private park and beach is just a short walk away. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you to the hosts who were very responsive before and during our vacation!

Amazing stay in Huron

We rented this house for a long weekend in June bc wanted to be close to the baseball tournament that my son’s team was in. The weekend was absolutely perfect. The house was super clean and had everything you need to cook, clean, laundry, etc. Communication with the host was easy and they were so quick to respond. The park/beach was located right behind the house and the kids absolutely loved it. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!!

Huron house was great!

We had a great stay! House was just as described. Kitchen was beautifully equipped, beds were comfy and plenty of blankets and pillows. We will definitely stay again!!
