We were looking for more outside seating. We thought we saw where it advertised and showed lawn chair furniture outside but we looked at so many places we might have been mistaken. Only 2 loveseats in living room so only seating for 4. We bought a lawn chair for 5th person to set with us. We tried to use pull out sofa bed but everyone felt to uncomfortable to sleep on.

This was my first ever VRBO trip and overall it was good. The kids and grandparents loved the games at this property. This VRBO stay did not start with a good first impression… someone left a #2 in the downstairs bathroom toilet for me to find upon arrival, but I’ll assume that the cleaning crew was in a hurry instead of this being a first-time customer initiation.

So first I'll say the house was clean for the most part. My kids loved the big game tables. Great location. Unfortunately, The beds weren't the most comfortable, the Jacuzzi wasn't clean, the "lots of games and books for kids" wasn't totally true. This was a townhouse which I wasn't expecting. No real yard space as advertised. The sliding door screens look like they had been broken into. The sliding doors don't work well and the balcony's were not in great shape. I don't know that I would pick to stay here again. I did appreciate all the kitchen amenities.

Quick getaway with the grand girls

Took my daughter’s and granddaughters up for a two day getaway and enjoy one night at this charming home. The kids enjoyed the foosball, air hockey and other games.

Great location and a fun stay.

The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Plenty of towels and basic kitchen cookware were provided.No condiments or coffee are provided, which is normal, but it is something to keep in mind. There isn't a close grocery store, so it's worth bringing any food and ice you want to eat there.Overall, it's a nice place for the area. We would bring the kids again!

Not enough for even 8 people

The property is small for even 8 persons. Couch/sofa in the living room is not great for use and you will get back pain if you sit for shorter periods too. Jetted tub was not clean. Mattresses were very bad(spring mattresses) as you would get back pain without extra pillows. The property can’t hold 12 persons for sure as it was not enough for 8 persons. This property may be good only for 6 people as it’s small

Great Stay

The villa was perfect for a family stay! We were able to play games as a family and when they kids got board they can move on to another game. The beds were so comfortable and there was another 2 inflatable beds.

Great location, good house

First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Had a Great stay!

Very Clean, lots of games the kids loved, beds were comfortable, reasonably supplied kitchen, loved the waterpark, no shampoo or body soap so bring your own as stated by at least one more person. Will be glad to stay again!

Exactly like description!!

We loved our stay! Very roomy and lots of things for kids and adults to keep active with if weather is not good! Beds were comfy! We hiked starved Rock and St. Louis canyon was fave there and then mattheison state park! Went into North Utica and got an ice cream at Bruce and Ollie’s! Highly recommend! We will definitely stay here again! Great place for children!!! Loved the safety gates on stairs!
