The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know]
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The condo was scummy. We will NEVER stay at Golden Sands ever again. We eventually got our money back after a ton of phone calls. The owner, Vacasa, VRBO and the owner should be ashamed of themselves.

We loved the resort and location. Great ocean views. frienldy staff and helpful. The condo itself was great and roomy. It could use some updates on furniture etc. We went beginning of June so no issues with elevators. However the shops were not open all days we were there at the resort and the outdoor cafe/bar was only open until 4 so if you wanted to get food for dinner or drinks in the evening you couldnt. Disappointed on that aspect. Overall great place and location.

Great family vacation

We had a great time in Ocean City! This place was bigger than expected but could have used a few more updates. We loved the size of the space and the big beds. The bathrooms were nice too. The kitchen worked fine. The guest bath was missing some lighting and the carpeting could have been cleaner. Overall, we'd stay again!

Golden Sands 2010

Golden sands amenities are the best. Can sit at the pool deck and watch kids at the pool while enjoying the tiki bar. Condo sis not have hot water. Basically one person could almost take a warm shower. We had cold showers all week.

Okay for a couple nights

Needs work, but it was Ok for 2 nights. Tile counters in kitchen look bad/stained/broken. Very dated. Needs light-blocking curtains in primary bedroom. TV in living room sucked. But the beds were comfortable.

Golden Sands Unit 2010

Upon arrival, the floor was dirty, some of the plates were dirty. Bathrooms unsanitized. My wife and daughter had to go through the unit and cleaned and sanitized everything! Screen to balcony door was off the hinges and broken. Tiles on kitchen counter broken. Unnecessary old tv's and clutter stored in the closet by homeowners leaving no room to hang clothes. The homeowners should really take some time and make the necessary repairs. These were reported upon arrival; however, the local team and homeowner did not want to make it right!

The view was amazing! The amenities were great. Loved the outdoor pool the inside pool was small so my grandkids didn’t really like that. The cleaning was not top notch. Found a half empty cup of soda on the shelf behind the bed. Makes me wonder if they even changed the sheets there was popcorn in the drawers and on the floor. the windows were not clean. The kitchen definitely needs some work. There are missing tiles for the countertops that were in a cabinet with the dishes. There was one fan and it was broken in pieces. So I had to go buy one. The outlets sucked! You were lucky if you could get the plug to stay in them. The lights in one bathroom flickered so bad so you couldn’t see when you had to look in the mirror. The other bathroom you couldn’t even turn out the lights.

Beautiful view

Although the view was great the apartment needs some TLC. The closest full of beach floats, boogie boards etc. leaving little space for belongings. Understand we were at the beach but floors full of sand when we arrived. Had broom but no dust pan a swifter would have been great. Utility closet, under sinks full of junk making unusable.

Pee stained mattress

Upon arriving everything looked fine. There were minor things that didn't really interfere with our stay. However, when we removed our bedsheets, we found there were no mattress pads between the sheets and a grossly pee stained mattress. Not a good ending to a get away. When reported they just said our apologizes.

If you are going to list your condo as elegant, then everything should work. Toilet paper holder broke. No light in master br. No light switches worked. Had to switch batteries from one remote to another. Unit needs a lot of updates. View was elegant but that was it.

Great view, convenient location

We stayed here with our family of 5. Plenty of space as the 2nd bedroom had a queen bed & a double bed. Kids had their own bathroom. It’s on the 20th floor but no biggie as the view is nice & the elevators ran pretty quick & smooth never really long waits. They have big rolling carts to put all your luggage & groceries in. Life savers! Lol convenient location as many restaurants & shopping in walking distance. Parking spot is conveniently located near the beach so we would leave our chairs & equipment in the car each time & grab it on our walk out to the beach. Short walk to beach, cute patio/ bar/ grill area. Fun place to just chill & hang out. Hard yummy Ice cream right on the patio area. We all enjoyed that! Pool was kept at a nice comfortable temperature. We had a overall good experience & would go back!

Needs updating

Can’t say enough about the Golden Sands, it’s fantastic except for the elevators on move in day lol. But this unit is in desperate need of updating. The electrical outlets are so old nothing will charge. The lighting is horrible and minimal accessories in the kitchen. Furnishings, bathrooms, it’s all in need of updates.

The condo was dirty - floors walls and kitchen. There was dust everywhere dirt on kitchen counters broken and missing tiles. Sand and something sticky on the tile floor. Dirt in corners of the bathroom. I have plenty of photos. I was very upset about the cleanliness or lack of the condo

When first went in house looked clean. After we settled floors very dirty. Are socks black. Also bedspreads very dirty. Think needs good cleaning.
