The Hillside, a Persian-style cottage w/ three-beds, three-baths on the peak of Laurel Ridge. The home offers direct access to the beach club located on Disharoon Lake. We’re minutes away from playgrounds, hiking trails, the Marina, the clubhouse, and wellness center.

The perfect spot for a relaxing stay

We had a wonderful experience staying here and highly recommend this property for others looking for a CLEAN, updated, lovely home in Big Canoe. The house is well-stocked and beautifully decorated, and you'll relax as soon as you walk in the door. We hope to stay here again soon!

Excellent Property

This was a beautiful home and was exactly as described. It was also very clean! The check in/out process was made seamless by the very responsive owner. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain get away.

What a beautiful home! We had a race weekend at AMP and this house was close to the track and such a relaxing, clean, comfy property to come back to after long race days! The host responded very quickly when I had questions. Would definitely stay again!! Big Canoe is a beautiful community!

Adorable Cottage!

We had another awesome trip to Big Canoe at the Hillside Cottage! Beautiful decorated, cozy cabin. We had everything we needed plus more. Owner was a pleasure and quick to respond! Spring weather was warm and lovely for daily hikes. Will return, thank you!

Wedding Weekend

We rented this beautiful home for our daughter’s wedding at The Willows Farm. Everything was perfect. Jamie was very responsive to our needs and promptly responded to all our questions. We can’t wait to return to Big Canoe and would rent here again.

Nice stay

Enjoyed staying at this house. Very nice. Saw several deer from the porch. Enjoyed renting a pontoon boat and walking the trails. Also, fun trip to Ellijay for brunch The Butcher and Bottle and picking apples at BJ Reece Farm. The Clubhouse food was disappointing on this trip and will hopefully get better. Good trip overall.

Big Canoe Cottage

Location and cottage was amazing. The house was very charming and fairly comfortable for our group of 3. Nice floor plan for families. Wished the TV in master bedroom worked. Basic necessities like bath soap , blow dryer and a working ice dispenser would have been nice. Just a bit of checking before guests arrive would go a long way .

Calming, comfortable, haven!

Our family enjoyed a much need stay at this gorgeously appointed cottage and found five nights to not nearly be enough! The beds are perfect, the furniture cozy, and there are plenty of places to curl up with a book or movie. This is the absolute best place for a Big Canoe family or friends get away. Jamie was wonderful to work with when we had a bit of trouble getting in. The slight deduction in cleanliness is no reflection on her or the property— but on the team that did the exit clean before us, and Jamie was made aware of where they dropped the ball a bit.

Beautiful cottage!

We enjoyed the 3 bd cottage and location very much. It was perfect for 2 couples. Definitely not handicap accessible but that was not a issue for any of us. Hope to rent here again. Wonderful communication with property owner/manager.

Cozy Cottage / Beautiful Resort

This is a very comfortable “cottage” with lots of space and a great deck and outdoor living areas. The resort community of Big Canoe is beautiful. If you are a golfer, I highly recommend bringing your clubs. The three 9 hole courses are each spectacular.

Owners were great to us!

Nicely decorated home in north GA mountains with easy paved access and parking. Many amenities in the area for the nature enthusiast. My family and I are grateful to the owners for the kindness they showed us and excellent communication!

AWESOME place to stay!!!

I will definitely be back to stay. My family and I absolutely loved the house- it was comfortable and clean and had beautiful views! The property managers were fantastic and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place!

Great house!

We've stayed in Big Canoe before at other VRBO's that are great, but this one by far was the best on beds, bedding, and comfortable furniture and decor. It was very cozy and felt like home for the week we stayed! Jamie was amazing to communicate with and we had everything we needed to have a great week! Would definitely rent again.

Big Adventure in Big Canoe

Great property centrally located to all amenities. Walking distance to beach club wellness center, tennis and pickle ball. Short drive to golf club. Spectacular golf courses. Was able to secure a tee time the day before playing. No wait for pickle ball or restaurants. Great mountain getaway with a French themed decor. Thanks for a beautiful home base.
