Escape from stress and enjoy a relaxing vacation at this newly renovated 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom rental home near Lake Ouachita. The Woodland Escape offers a peaceful retreat in Harbor East, surrounded by the beautiful Ouachita National Forest. With its spacious 2,100 square feet and accommodation for up to 10 guests, this condo is perfect for families looking to unwind.

Inside the home, you'll find modern amenities such as complimentary WiFi and smart TVs for streaming. The screened balcony provides a cozy outdoor space with a gas grill and comfortable seating, ideal for enjoying the natural surroundings and wildlife. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and both a Keurig and regular coffee pot. The living room features a leather sofa, recliners, and chairs for relaxation.

Luxury bath towels and bed linens are provided, along with essential items like dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, and toiletries. The home also offers covered decks, ceiling fans, and a beautiful, wooded view. Parking is available for two vehicles in the driveway.

The location of the condo allows for easy access to Lake Ouachita, where you can enjoy various water activities and explore the nearby Vista Trail. Other attractions in the area include the Ouachita National Forest, Turtle Cove Spa, and Crater of Diamonds State Park. If you're looking for additional entertainment, Hot Springs National Park and Magic Springs Theme and Water Park are within driving distance.

Please note that smoking and pets are not allowed in the home or on the balconies. The booking guest must be at least 28 years old and present throughout the stay. A rental agreement must be signed within 24 hours of booking, and photo ID may be required upon check-in. Non-compliance with occupancy rules may result in reservation termination without a refund. The property is equipped with a Ring doorbell for monitoring purposes.

If you arrive with more than two vehicles, additional parking is available in the overflow parking area. Failure to utilize the overflow parking may result in the loss of your deposit.

Quiet and relaxing

The property was very roomy for my 10 family members. The grandkids were able to safely play on the screened-in deck while the adults played cards. Swimming, day trip into Hot Springs, relaxing, laughing… It was perfect.

Great Property

Very comfortable, clean property. We went with another couple and all of us had plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed the porch - it felt like being in a treehouse. The kitchen was well equipped (love that it had a separate ice machine) and made meals easy.

Quartz mining in Mount Ida

Loved this condo. Very nice and kid friendly. Mount Ida is very small but the Lodge restaurant has good food and even delivers. Great omelets! Quiet and peaceful condo and resort. Overall very good stay. Would highly recommend.

Spacious and relaxing

Perfectly clean and lots of space to relax. My 3 year old loved having a snack and watching a show on the screened in deck. Wonderful space for a group to gather and still have privacy. We also loved the pool table and pac man arcade game. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect place to stay!

This property was excellent. We had six adults and 6 children six and under. There was plenty of room for all of us. The children enjoyed all the space and hanging out on the large enclosed deck. We were able to have family meals around the large dining room table. The location was perfect for the Lovit Trail run. We would definitely stay here again. Sherry was great to work with and responded quickly to my emails.

Great getaway!

The condo is just as pics show. Updated, great amenities, nice patios, etc! The kids loved the pool table and game machine on the bottom floor. Super nice all around. Would definitely recommend. The only issue was that there were dogs in a nearby condo around that liked to bark...a lot.

We loved the condo! We were two families each with 2 kids and it was the perfect for our families. Plenty of living room seating for both families. Clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed. And it has an ice machine which we loved and came in so handy! It was close to the pool which was perfect with the kiddos. The master shower had a little hiccup as the pressure coming from the shower head was not full pressure since water was still coming out of the lower spout as well. But we still used it and was not a big deal over all as well loved everything else about this place. And the other two showers worked beautifully. We will definitely be staying again. Oh and the master bed was a sleep number and was a wonder surprise and extremely comfy!

Family Lake Retreat

My husband and our children and their two families from Colorado and North Carolina get together every other year. This is a favorite destination because our kids grew up loving Lake Ouachita. This condo gets 5 stars and more! So clean, so pretty, well equipped, comfortable, roomy! The kids loved the game room, while the adults so enjoyed coffee and wine on the roomy deck! Communication with the owner was so easy, and always immediate. We didn’t want to leave…thinking a fall, winter and spring visit would fabulous!

Exceeded Expectations!

My goal in booking this condo for a 4 day stay was 1) family time and 2) to go somewhere that the country didn’t look like home. Total success! This condo is located in a wonderful area of Mountain Harbor Resort, nestled in the trees and on a quiet court area. The owner has thought of so many details and has done a super job preparing for her guests needs. We were comfortable and had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen and dining area got the most use and was set up great so even the one cooking wasn’t left out of family time. Not sure when we will return to Arkansas, but would stay here again and will be sharing with any interested friends.

Spring Break at Woodland Escape

Brought the family to Lake Ouachita for Spring Break this year and it was such a great decision. We took the kids (ages 8 and 6) to dig for crystals at Wegner's Crystal Mines (about a 25-minute drive from Woodland Escape). We also spent an entire afternoon on a side-by-side ride through the Ouachita National Forest, which is easily accessible from Woodland Escape.The Woodland Escape property was wonderful. Two decks, plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of space for our crew. Kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, dinnerware, utensils, etc. The property was clean and very well kept. Sherry, the owner, was also a dream to work with. She was immediately responsive to any questions we had and very accommodating. Before we could even get packed up and checked out, our kids were already asking about when we'd be coming back. That's always a very good sign.

The Best Week Ever!

This was our first trip to Mountain Harbor, Arkansas and it did not disappoint! The Woodland Escape was the icing on the cake. The place was beautiful and super tastefully decorated. I was impressed with how well the kitchen area was stocked. We cooked every meal since our kids have food allergies and we didn’t need anything other than parchment paper which is amazing! The master bed was super comfy! Loved the layout of the bedrooms. We had one family upstairs and one family downstairs which worked out well. The kids were able to play on the woods next to the cul de sac and all the parents felt like they were safe. Storage was more than I’ve ever experienced! Short walk to the pool and to a cove of the lake. Extremely short drive to the marina. We had friends staying at Shangri-La and it was 6 min from them. We will definitely book again for next year. What a special place the owners have! Thanks for letting us share!

Welcome to Lake Ouachita! We are Darin and Sherry, the owners of 4D Lake Properties LLC. We have been happily married for 30 years and have 4 sons. Vacations are an important part of our active lives, and we have always enjoyed visiting the beautiful Lake Ouachita. We wanted to spend more time there with our boys, so we decided to acquire this rental property, which is our fifth overall and our first at the lake.

We are based in Razorback country and are big fans of the University of Arkansas sports teams. When we're not cheering on the Razorbacks, we find ourselves daydreaming about the lake. We feel truly fortunate to provide you with this amazing opportunity to escape from it all and experience the incredible outdoors and wildlife that Lake Ouachita has to offer.

In addition to this lake property, we also own two gulf front condos on the Emerald Coast of Panama City Beach.
