Beach access with a relaxed seaside atmosphere.

Bring the whole family and stay at this Breezy home located in Sandy Ground village, surrounded with palms, coconut trees and indigenous plants. The primary bedroom is on the second level featuring a king size bed, a full bathroom and a walk in closet. Adjacent to the bedroom, is a loft over looking the Sandy Ground Beach. On the first level, there are two rooms, one is a second bedroom with a king size bed and the other is a workspace with a futon that can be used as a sleep space. The two rooms shares a hallway with a full bathroom. There is also spacious living area, dinning and laundry area and a well equipped kitchen. It has WiFi, TV, washer/dryer, A/C units and, table wares. The space in this house can accommodate five people comfortably. After enjoying the house venture out and enjoy a walk on the sandy beach, step out the front door and sun bath, or go snorkeling long the reef. When the sun goes down slip away to some of the best bars and restaurants in the village, such as Elvis, and Love shack and many more.

Wonderful!

This location was perfect, very quiet at the end of the road on Sandy Ground. My husband and I are frequently all over the island each day and this location gave us the perfect landing spot each night, central to everything we could want to do. A beautiful view of the water and always the most stunning sunsets, even from the shower window! We will definitely look at staying here again next time :)

Great Stay

Had a very good time at Sandy Ground. Debbie was a great hostess and was very prompt with answers to any questions and help. The home is very clean, bright and well equipped. Several bars and restaurants very close by so fun for hanging out there.

Nice house not great area

The house was spacious and the hosts provided everything needed. The beds are quite firm, which is fine if you like firm beds. The futon is quite uncomfortable. It was lovely to have a washing machine and dryer that work well. The house gets extremely hot. A/C only works in the bedrooms. The area has tons of mosquitoes, much more than other parts of the island. The beach is convenient for some activities but is not a great swimming beach. The owner and property manager are lovely people.

great location

The house is perfectly located in Sandy Ground, such that it feels isolated, yet is walking distance to a dozen bars and restaurants and 5 min drive to dozens more. Each bedroom and office have AC units that worked great. The kitchen was perfect for our needs for light breakfast or lunch. One should plan on eating out as much as possible as restaurants in Anguilla are outstanding. As we were in the ocean a lot, having a laundry machine and drier were super convenient to wash our swimsuits. We used the office as a third bedroom, as it had a futon couch. Its a little small for an adult, but would work great for a child.

Just One Word - AWESOME!

This was a great rental. The location, slightly different than the listing indicated, was fantastic! At the end of a quiet gravel road, the only traffic was the early morning fishermen headed out on their morning runs. Yet very close to lots of dining options. This was a perfectly quiet little hideaway. Great location for a family, or perhaps two couples. We enjoyed our mornings out on the veranda with our morning coffee. Very private, great little getaway. House was perfectly appointed, great Kitchen, Bed/Baths, etc. We don't cook a lot while on island, but the Kitchen has everything you might need. Fantastic grounds with an amazing garden to enjoy. Debra even fetched us a couple beach chairs which came in very handy for exploring the island. The host was amazing! We'll definitely be hanging on to this contact info. Won't be the last time we connect for a stay in Sandy Ground!

Great location, convenient, walk to restaurants

Enjoyed our time at Deb’s place. She is very responsive. Enjoyed breakfast on porch every morning when the harbor was just coming awake. The house is spaciousness and clean. W/ D a plus. Soap, shampoos provided plus irs, snorkel gear to borrow. Parking super easy. Safe. Nearby restaurants are great if you don’t want to drive after drinking or after sunset. you can hang for hours at Elvis’. We had to turn on fan/ AC and close the windows when a local bar played crazy loud music on weekend. Otherwise, great stay and we would return. Tip: leave chairs and umbrella at home. Anguilla beaches have many beach bars that offer chairs and umbrellas at no charge as long as you order food. Also on the beach parking. Tropical Sunset at Shoal east, Ocean Echo at Meads, DaVida at Crocus became favorites.

anchored ourselves at Sandy Ground

Great location for a home base to explore the island— everything was just a short walk or drive away, and we came home to great place to hang out and sleep. We stayed for 3 weeks, had adult kids visit, had meals here, hung outside, watched fishermen, walked to beach and restaurants. House itself has big rooms, views of Sandy Ground, a nice covered porch, fairly well equipped kitchen, t.v.s, and cool AC for when you need it (and you will). Great to hang out on those rare mornings or evenings when it rains a bit. Fun to watch the “hermit crab parade” in morning (we saw 10). Ample supply of linens, towels, washcloths, etc. Huge bed in one room, smaller in other. Could definitely hear various music from restaurants in evenings (rock, reggae, open mic) but was not very loud late while we were there. Owner Debbie and contact Andrew were very responsive. She got right back to us with inquiries, and he was available to help with washer, lp gas, recommendations and directions.All in all, a great anchor for exploring the island of Anguilla. We made it to 12 bays, so many beaches, lots of restaurants (Tasty’s and Jelly BBQ our faves), and saw sooo mannny stars at night. Love this place, hope to come back.

Scott and Nancy visited while I was off island. They were assisted by one of my representative who told me they were Fantastic guests! They communicated clearly and were very responsive to messages to me and my representative. They treated the house as if it was their own. They followed all house rules without any issues. There was an issue with the washer that took a while to be fixed. They were very understanding and waited patiently for the washer to be repair and then replaced. I would highly recommend them to other host.
