This was our first time staying on Anguilla’s East End, and we loved the quieter, more laid-back vibe compared with the busier West End and its larger resorts.The views from Southern Comfort were spectacular and largely unobstructed, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxing by the pool or even from indoors. We also enjoyed daily walks through the neighborhood, which added to the peaceful feel of the area.The villa’s layout worked very well for our two parties, allowing for privacy for each bedroom and a central gathering space overlooking the pool and view beyond. Many of the furnishings seem pretty new, and everything throughout the home was very clean. The bathrooms were more on the original side but they were well maintained and fully functional.A thoughtful touch we appreciated was the chilled water dispenser for drinking, cooking, and making ice. After many stays in the Caribbean, I’m not sure we’ve had this small luxury before! Joyce, the house manager, gave us a warm welcome and was always available whenever anything came up. She has worked with this property for many years and her care of the home was evident. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
