Warning- Do not stay here

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Oh goodness, where do I even start?!? The photos of this house are edited to remove the real state of this property. My family rented this place for two nights at the beginning of August 2024, we barely made it the two nights. first issue was the door code didn’t work when we got there, thankfully the property manager answered when we called and reset it. As soon as we walked in the house it smelled musty and chemical like. We thought it was bug spray, but we assumed it was from the water damage. The walls and ceilings in pretty much every room had bubbled areas that were clearly water stained. The master bedroom ceiling was drooping in places and was the worst of it. All the doors were warped, so they were hard to close and got stuck when they did close. The door code failed on the second day again, we were locked out for 45 mins in 100 degree heat. The property manager didn’t respond for four hours. VRBO was able to give us the maintenance code and we got into the house with that. The room with the bunk beds was ok, but one of the beds was unusable. The mattress was so thin you could feel the metal bars underneath. There are some nice features to this place that I will mention. The chairs in the living room are comfortable. It has two video games and a foosball table that were fun.

Stay away- unsafe!

When I walked into this property it smelled like a basement. I messaged the owner and asked if they have mold issues and inquired about the unit on the counter. He said “no” and that the counter unit is a dehumidifier. As I was unloading our things, I noticed a warped wall in the kitchen. I felt it and it was soft. I then noticed lots of gross dirty water in multiple air vents in the floor. These seemed like clear signs that there is mold in this house. I felt this place was unsafe and my kids and I slept in my car in the driveway instead. We left first thing in the morning. I messaged the owner that night from the driveway and told him that we were sleeping in my car, that he needs to have the house looked at and that we wouldn’t be staying the second night. He never responded. I have photos and videos of these things, and other issues with this property, that unfortunately can’t be shared in a review. Additionally, the check-in/out instructions tell you “not to strip the beds”. This is obviously because they don’t wash the bedding. There was hair and junk when I pulled back the covers to look at the sheets. It’s a rather dilapidated home and I could go on, by I’ll run out of space. STAY AWAY from this one!!

Great, peaceful fun stay!!!

Great peaceful house for a family ! It allowed my family to have a peaceful and restful sleep. Nice to be away from the craziness of the event and relax! My sons loved all the games! The host was very nice and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Cute Dwelling

As noticed by others, the property is not in a great area but we didn't have any issues at all. In fact we rarely saw anybody. We were close to everything we wanted to see, just minutes away from some really great restaurants and of course, the beach! The inside was as pictured with the arcade games, foosball table and darts which looked like a lot of fun. We just didn't have time to play. The furniture and bed were comfy. We only had one negative and that was the bathtubs could definitely use some anti-slip strips in them. All in all, it's a great place and one we will look for again if we get the chance to head that way again.

Please be aware you have a sugar ant problem in kitchen and back bathroom also there is a wasp nest outside corner of the house by the boat . Other than that our stay was as pleasant as it could be

Excellent first impression of Florida

This was our first time for a family vacation to Florida, and the house made it that much more enjoyable. The weather did not cooperate while we were there, but thanks to Jeremy and the many amenities in his house, our boys stayed entertained while we waited for the rain to pass. They were introduced to Pac-Man, foosball, and darts, and they loved all of it. My oldest son has a habit of waking early and scrolling YouTube for a bit before the day really gets started, and the Internet-connected TV was a pleasant surprise. My family would like to thank you for opening your home to us and allowing us to enjoy our vacation without worry.

Misleading

The property is not in the best neighborhood. Bars on the outside of the windows were not seen in any of the posted pictures of the property. The property wasn’t the cleanest…which I’m sure the owner know because he messaged me that if it’s not clean we will send people back to clean it. It should have been clean from the jump. I received check in information an hour before I was able to check in. That’s unacceptable. That information should be available at least 24 hours in advance. The owner wanted to ensure that he got a 5 star review…even if it was not a 5 star stay. Owner should do better. If he wants a 5 star review, he should offer a 5 star stay. Not beg for it. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. And I’ll ensure none of my associates do either.

Pensacola Downtown and NAS Access

This trailer home is a perfect accommodation for active vacationers. It has quick access to the Gulf Breeze bridge and is central to downtown and the NAS. Good air conditioning and plumbing. Tho a little sketchy, the neighborhood is quiet and we had no issues with safety or security. As others stated, lots of games and room for days that rain. We would definitely use this rental again.

Everything went Great

We stayed 1 night and it was a really wonderful experience. Yes I agree with the review about it being a diamond in the rough, when you first start going through the neighborhood you may question your stay but please give it a chance, you will love it. It has amazing lil arcade games we felt just like lil kids. We Will definitely stay here again.

Great stay overall

The neighborhood appears a little rough on the surface but it was safe and quiet. This is a renovated trailer home that served its purpose for what we needed, an overnight stay while traveling. The host went above and beyond to make sure the place was warm on an uncharacteristicly cold Pensacola night. Arcade games and fooseball made for some great family fun.

Diamond in the rough

Was skeptical about the neighborhood, but never really saw anyone and it was a very quiet area. They took this little house and made it into a very enjoyable place to stay. The kids loved the inside and all the games. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Host!

Host was more than friendly and accommodating to everyone of my family’s needs! The set up in the house is very cozy and nice! The house had games for the family to keep the fam entertained! We stayed for the news years and stayed in the house the whole night and we did not go bored ! The host told us about a perfect beach near by and even lent us some boogie boards! Very hard to trust these sight sometimes but Jeremy was so sweet answering every question and concern! Definitely would go again!
