Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage, .5 miles from the beach. Our cottage has recently been remodeled with all new furnishings. We offer complimentary cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes ingredients to make waffles or hot oatmeal. Wine is available for purchase. Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services available. Also, new outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ for grilling outside! We have bikes!

The beds were horrible, very hard. The house smells like mildew. Floor was uneven and soft on areas. We all had bug bites when we woke up the next day. Looks like spider bites. We were attempted to be attacked by 4 aggressive pit bull mix dogs when we first arrived and were getting out of the car.

Cute and comfy

Had everything we could possibly need. Cute clean little house. Loved all the extra personal touches. They had stuff available if you need or forgot something. To far to walk to the beach if older or wanting to take chairs and stuff. Neighborhood was a little run down. No driveway which is fine for some but I don't like parking on the street.

Not a safe location people fighting in front lots of loitering from big party in the corner house police was called due to fightsDid not feel safe due to heavy traffic and several cars coming and going from the area.

Fantastic everything!

I booked the cottage for myself, husband, and another couple, but had to back out at the last minute. Ended up being just our friends staying and they loved it. Kalli is a very understanding and responsive host. I would definitely rent again!

Great Stay & Cute House!

The house was so cute and a perfect size for our little family! It’s in a perfect location to Pleasure Pier, East Beach, local delicious restaurants, and more! All neighbors friendly and we felt very at home! Being originally from New Orleans, it had the vibe we love with a fun, calming beachy twist! I’d definitely recommend the Lavender House or any of their properties! Hosts are attentive, kind, and always available to help! Definitely book with them!

BEYOND EXCELLENT HOSTING

Hosts were extremely kind, quick to respond & gracious. Home was super tidy and clean. Home was also provided with lots of amenities.

Cute as a button!

My husband, myself and 14 yr old grandson at the Lavender house. It looked just like the pictures on vrbo. The colors of the outside and the cute little front porch were great. The beds were comfy and the rooms inviting. My grandson loved the fact we could venmo a pizza for him! All in all it was a great place to stay. I would book again. Orlando and Kally thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Cute but not safe

My friend and I planned a little girls trip away from Houston. We came Friday evening and went out. Came back to the house around 1am and had a man across the street staring at us. He left and came back. We did not feel safe as 2 women by ourselves since this guy was coming from the house across from the backyard. We felt this guy was not watching for good reason. With that we left that night due to safety. Don’t bother telling the host if you feel unsafe as it’s specified in the notes of an “urban” area or whatever. We come from Houston it’s just as cultured. With that, would not stay or come back again.

It was my sister and brother’s first time to experience Galveston Mardi Gras and I wanted to stay someplace close, this place was perfect! It had every amenity that we needed and more! Great stay!

House is super cute and clean. Check in was easy. Pet friendly! Only suggestion is maybe include the backyard is shared in case other homes have dogs too. Our dogs are friendly but don’t like being startled by other animals. Host was super quick to respond on communication.

Cute and cozy

We booked this cute cottage for our stay before our cruise. It was just blocks away from the port and was really neat to see the ships in the morning. Everything was perfect and clean. Just a word of advice—if you book during high school football season, be prepared to hear the game and if you leave losing your parking spot. We left to go eat and when we returned our spot was taken, we drove around Galveston for about 30 minutes before the space was freed up. Wasn’t a big deal at all just wanted to prepare others.
