We had a wonderful stay! The location is great…it really is just a short, couple of minute walk to the beach. The bedrooms were quite comfortable with plenty of storage space. I think the kitchen was better stocked than my own! The pool was fun! Larry was a gracious host and attentive to any needs or questions we had. I highly recommend! D.Johnson

We had a the best time here and hopefully we will be back again. The location at the beach cannot be beat and the view from the upstairs is stunning. Everything was clean and comfortable, and every need was provided for - throws and blankets, games, etc. Our kids loved the light pool feature and bunk beds, and our teenage girls loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings! Communication was excellent - if we had any question, the host responded immediately, and they were some of the nicest hosts I’ve met. You’re missing out if you don’t book this house! Our family loved every minute of our stay!

Stay cut short due to Debby

We have vacationed at OIB numerous times over the last 25+ years & this was the first time that the weather was terrible but the house & Larry were fantastic! There was an issue with the golf cart not being operational & Larry let us know that right away. What we had expected as a wonderful vacation turned into a bad weather situation but Larry clearly understood & took great care of us & worked with VRBO to get us a refund. If you are looking for a clean home with a large well equipped kitchen & private pool this is your place! Distance to the beach is just a short walk away even though we couldn’t spend much time there in the rain!

Reconnecting and Relaxing with family

Perfect birthday weekend!

A group of 14 of us stayed at the property and it was just as the pictures show. Plenty of space, great location to walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out. Larry was great to work with and I hope to be back another time!

Beautiful beach home and responsive host

Spacious, well appointed, beautiful beach home! Short walk to the beach with beautiful views. Home is well stocked with lots of essentials, and every kitchen item you could possibly need for home cooked meals. Owner is very responsive- had a HVAC issue during our stay and he had it taken care of in lightning speed. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location

We loved the location of this house. There is a beautiful view of the ocean/beach despite being one block away from the beach and the walk to the beach is quick and easy. Our family of 15 had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. There are plenty of puzzles and games provided appropriate for kids through adults. The host also provided chairs and toys for the beach and pool. The host is a pleasure to work with and quickly responds to any questions.

Great location!

This home is a great location and lots of space for a large group. The walk to the beach is only a couple minutes and the pool area is an excellent spot to hangout after a day at the beach. The kitchen area is very large and spacious with all necessary items. The fridge is on the smaller side so would need to bring coolers for a larger group. The property is older than it appears but the 3rd floor offers a great table and couch space for a group. The decks a great opportunity to enjoy coffee and see the ocean!

Great Overall Experience

Spring Break Getaway

We love the Ocean Isle and Holden Beach area every time we visit. The area was quiet and family friendly. The Beach was a short 5 min peaceful walk one block over. We had access to a heated pool which came in handy during the cool weekend also a golf cart that was available through the home owner. The rooms were comfortable and roomie. We look forward to coming back.

Ocean Isle New Years

Larry was an extremely quick responded and easy host to deal with. I was extremely pleased with his communication and his thoroughness regarding the property booking and updates prior to our vacation. We had a large group and had everything that we needed during our stay. The house came with all of the cutlery, baking dishes, and anything needed to prepare our breakfast lunch and dinners during our entire stay. There was ample room and bathrooms for all of the guests and we enjoyed the large living room area and adjacent deck. We were extremely pleased with the amount of parking and proximity to the beach. Several of our guests found the nature trail which was a quick walk from the home to be a nice and relaxing way to either unwind or days or start our day. We would recommend Larry and his home to anyone enjoying the beautiful Ocean Isle area!

OIB Decked Out

Where to begin? Communication with Larry was excellent both prior and during our visit. Home was lovely and clean with every amenity. The heated pool added swimming into the mix in early November! We had a blast exploring the island using the golf cart. The view from the top deck afforded both gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. We can't wait to return. Thanks Larry

Excellent vacation at OIB Decked Out!

The location was fabulous....just a short walk from the beach. Great views of the ocean from the house. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony watching the sun come up over the ocean....and watched the sunsets from there as well. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The golf cart was a fun way to explore the island. The host was attentive and checked in to make sure everything was awesome...which it was. We are already planning our return visit to OIB Decked Out!!

Beautiful Beach house

Our family had a great stay at OIB. We were very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was and loved the close proximity to the ocean! The pool and golf cart were a huge hit too. Larry was quick to respond and very helpful!

Exactly What we Needed

Great Vacation Home

Overall, the house was clean and very close to the beach. The private pool definitely came in handy especially after being on the hot beach all day. Kitchen was fully stocked and had plenty of room for our party of 10. Perfect vacation! Will definitely be back!

Family of 10 Vacation

The location to beach was great! Nice big kitchen and dining area. Owner was always responsive. We had a blast and the house was perfect for 5 couples. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. Golf cart was nice to have.

Wonderful location and home!
