Great for families or big groups (8 max) and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms one downstairs and upstairs. Table wasn't big enough for 8 people so had to use the extra table and chairs in the closet. Very minor but not enough plates for 8 so just need some extra cutlery set. Lots of games for the kids and the indoor pool/rec room was a nice to have.

Family Stay for Scranton Graduation Weekend

The house was just as advertised. It was spotless, bright and in a convenient location to the University of Scranton, 28 minutes door to door. The gated community was also nice and the staff at the gate were very friendly. I would recommend it for sure!

Great stay!

Despite losing power due to weather, it was a fantanstic trip. The owners offered plenty of firewood to accommodate and offered updates from the power company until the power was restored. Very quick to respond and help out when messaging.

"We had an amazing stay at this house in the Poconos! It was incredibly clean, and the cozy, home-like atmosphere made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The property provided everything we needed, and we really appreciated how well-maintained it was. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful getaway with plenty to do nearby. We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat, and we’re already planning to return in the summer!

Very nice home

We visited the area for a wedding and enjoyed our stay at this lovely well equipped home. Close to Gouldsboro state park. Very relaxing.

Relaxing getaway with fall foliage

The house is tucked in the woods in a gated community. We wanted a quiet weekend with decent hiking nearby. We found the 5.3 mile trail around Tobyhanna State Park to be perfect for us and our dog. Nice house and property.

Home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy home at Big Bass Lake. The accommodations were clean and everything was comfortable and welcoming. Great location for winter skiing. Plan on coming back for a summer rental.

Excellent house

The house was extremely clean, comforting and everything worked well. The beds were super comfortable and my family really enjoyed our stay. The tv's had apps installed for great evening entertainment and we enjoyed playing some board games as well. Overall a great experience!

Weekend getaway

My family and I spent weekend here and it was fantastic. The area was quiet. The house was clean and had everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to make a meal and coffee bar was a favorite of my husbands. There was a nice selection of games to play as a family.

Peaceful getaway

I personally enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. This place was very clean with nice touches of home. I stayed the weekend and enjoyed the surrounding area. Please note: This is a gated community and requires the completion of additional paperwork to access the community/property and must include the names of everyone staying.

Good stay

Clean house with a walking distance to a lake. Pool is far and the owner does not provide a gate pass to cut through the development, which makes it a 15 minutes drive.

Second visit in two years... just as good the 2nd time!

Great visit for four nights with a group of 4 traveling to the area for a music festival. Just like last year, easy communication with the owners who are helpful and friendly. The place is very clean and since last year they have upgraded with window air conditioners and a coffee maker which made a huge difference for keeping the place comfortable and bug-free (no screens). We'll be back I suspect...

Vacation at Big Bass Lake

House was modern, comfortable and updated. Was more than enough space for family of 5 and dog. Felt secluded and private, but also not far from amenities, stores and restaurants. Visited Delaware water gap, several state parks and Crystal Cavern. Enjoyed the pool, playgrounds and tennis/pickle ball courts. Bad weather kept us from enjoying the lake and boating. Maybe next time!

Great spot for a long weekend with friends visiting the area

Overall, we had a great stay and had a great experience with the owners. The property is well maintained and clean, and everything worked as expected. Great TV and we appreciated the bluetooth speakers to be able to play music. We had a minor issue getting the registration number to get into the gated community until the very last minute, but the owners made sure that they texted it to us the morning that we were arriving so it all worked out in the end (thank you!). The only thing that was a surprise was that only 2 windows in the house had screens, and it was summer. With no A/C, and not being able to open all the windows or the sliding doors due to the mosquitoes, it was a little stuffy. Fortunately 2 of the rooms had ceiling fans and there were 2 portable fans provided. Only other minor surprises were that there is a Keurig but no drip coffee maker, but that was hardly a big deal, and we were a little surprised to see the instructions to take your trash with you and dispose of it outside of the community... Lastly, would have loved to have a sheet of instructions about things like WiFi, trash, check-out procedures, etc. on the fridge or on the kitchen table. Bottom line, we had a great trip, we were very comfortable, and we look forward to hopefully returning next year!

Parents Getaway.

This trip was booked for a weekend getaway for my Family. They had a wonderful time. The host (in particular) Stephen was truly amazing, he was very fast to respond to all my questions & concerns, very friendly individual. The home does have Air Conditioning units installed in the living room and 2 other bedrooms, and portable fans in the other, which kept the guests cool. They enjoyed the surround sound entertainment system and the deck area, (even saw some deers). It was very clean, cozy, extremely organized and stocked up with a lot of extra goodies. We'll definitely be booking this property again.

One of the best places!!

That was one of our Best stay in Poconos. The house is located close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Of course the house itself is very nice, clean, newly renovated- just perfect!!! That was ideally enough space for all 8 of us! Also, There is a beautiful lake a few minutes away! It was gorgeous snowy, fresh and lovely stay, we will never forget! Thank you!!!
