Large Family Home

Large family home situated along the entrance to Emerson Bay State Park. Completely re-furnished (2005 built) home with new flooring, all new furniture, beds and décor. Lightning fast wireless internet with brand new 75" Roku T.V.s upstairs and down. Flat screen T.V.'s in the bedrooms as well. Fenced in backyard for guest privacy with two charcoal grills. For your safety and ours, there is a Google Nest Video Doorbell and is the only camera on the premises.

Master bedroom (king bed) includes master bath with double sinks and jacuzzi tub with walk-in closet and private bathroom with shower. Second upper level bedroom has a queen bed with huge closet and dresser with nightstand. Third upper level bedroom has a day bed with trundle and also a closet. Lower level features another bedroom with King bed and large closet. Fifth bedroom in lower level features two bunk beds with three full beds and one twin. Both upper and lower level family rooms include couch and loveseat along with coffee & end tables. Large kitchen island and nice dining table allow for entertainment as well as a dedicated office perfect for catching up with work back home or even for kids to play board games. Located in a newer development with many new homes being built.

Located on the west side of West Lake Okoboji, this property includes direct access to the Iowa Great Lakes Bike trail as it runs along the property frontage. No need to drive to a trailhead, just hop on your bike and you are on your way!

Lake access - State Park is one block down the street via bike/walking trail. Take your doggie on a beautiful nature walk into the state park, send the kiddos down to the beach, bring your boat to launch for a day on the water. Ice Fishing? This the perfect location for access to the highly sought after Emerson Bay Bluegill action!

Amazing experience!

Doug was a great host. My friends and I stayed for a bachelorette trip and were welcomed into a clean home close to the beach. Doug was a great communicator and helped wud with the stove top in a very timely manner. Overall experience was 10/10 and would definitely recommend to others!

We loved the house and the space in this house. Loved the fenced-in backyard to play bean bags and just sit and visit. And making S'Mores of course.

Great property owners on West Okoboji Lake

Beautiful home to spend a family vacation at West Okoboji Lake. Plenty of room for individual quiet time and two family living rooms for playing family games and conversation. The owners were fantastic to work with, had a minor problem accessing the property due to pass code not working but Doug immediately got the door open remotely. We would stay here again, great location.

Repairs needed

Plumbing repairs and general maintenance are necessary in this home. Cleanliness lacks attention to detail. Owners were receptive to comments. Hopefully they took care of the issues.

Clean, Spacious, Well-Furnished, Great for Group of 10

The home was clean, spacious, well-furnished, and worked perfectly for our group of 10. It is nice that the property is located so close to Emerson Bay State Recreation Area (beach, public docks, etc.). It is not near Arnolds Park, etc., but we had no problem getting Ubers back and forth. Additionally, the owners were friendly, helpful, and quick communicators. We would absolutely recommend this listing to others.

Perfect!

The house was clean, had towels for swimming if needed, lots of space, and enormous TVs. Plus, it was super close to Lakeside Lab, which is where my family was meeting. Walking trail went right in front of house, and close to boat ramp. Recommend highly.

Fantastic Family Home

We had 14 people ages 5 to 77 in this beautiful home! Everything we needed was right there and we had plenty of room, great beds and bathrooms, and a fantastic host! Many memories were made in this delightful home.

Family Reunion

The property was the right size for the reunion of three families. We had six adults and six children. The location close to the lake and on an excellent bike trail is wonderful. The beach in the nearby park was small but not crowded. The lake is clear and clean. The bike path is perfect for bikes and the kids enjoyed using their scooters. The pictures of the property should include the backyard with the grills and chairs.

Perfect getaway

Property was very clean, easy to get to, a short walk to the public access. Host was very accommodating and always quick to respond to our questions prior to and during our stay. All around great experience renting this house. Money Well spent on this one! Will be back again!

Wonderful family trip

Wonderful hosts and a beautiful home. Had everything needed and even things we forgot like toothbrushes and shampoo. They even went out of their way to set up a Christmas tree for us since we were celebrating our family Christmas there. Very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.
