Relax at Dakota Country Home, a 1916 fully remodeled farm home and peaceful scenic country getaway! This 8 bedroom, 8 bath home provides lots of space for families. Cook together in the spacious kitchen and gather in the dining-living areas. Enjoy acres of space for outdoor activities like basketball, baseball, horseshoes, corn hole, trap shooting, and hiking. Enjoy your coffee or cocktail on two different decks or in the hot tub with breathtaking views of the Missouri River countryside.
The main floor includes
• Spacious kitchen with a large counter that seats 4 and dining room table with 8 chairs.
• Adjoining living room provides additional seating and a gas fireplace.
• Master suite with king-sized bed and attached full bath with walk-in shower
• Quilter’s quarters bedroom with queen-sized bed
• Full bath with tub/shower
• Laundry room with half bath
• Access to climate-controlled garage and space for ping pong, corn hole, bumper pool, cards, and bar
• Wrap around deck with gas grill, gas firepit, picnic table, and hot tub.
The upstairs includes
• The Ava Rose room with 2 twin-sized beds and girlish décor
• The M.A.N. room with 3 twin-sized beds with boyish design
• The above rooms have access to a shared bath.

Absolute fantastic house and property. We initially were worried about the rainy forecast but honestly, it didn't impact it because there was enough games and things to keep all ages (4-74) entertained inside the house garage. This was our 2nd time staying there and we can't wait to return again. The amenities, owner friendliness, ease of check-in/out, and location are perfect for us.

Family Christmas

My family met at this property for Christmas! It was the perfect place for all of us. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The heated garage was a great bonus space and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners even decorated the house for Christmas for us.

Great house for a family weekend. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of games and great hang out area in the huge garage. Hot tub was fun, kitchen well stocked, everything was clean and organized. Star gazing on the deck was amazing! Highly recommend!

It was great for our family reunion. House was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the privacy of not having close neighbors. Defenitely would recommend for any big family gatherings. We also like that each room had it's own full bathroom.

Family Reunion

The property was all that it is advertized to be. It is clean, comfortable, peaceful and quiet! The kitchen is well equiped. there are games to play and also a nice hiking trail. We had a great weekend!

Two of my sisters traveled here with our husbands & adult children. We walked the county roads in the morning, boated in the afternoons, ate dinners & played games in the evenings. It was a PERFECT house to reconnect with extended family. We will return.

Family Getaway

Our family FINALLY found a place that we could all be together for a few days and not be on top of each other! So. Much. Space! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were just perfect! The kitchen was amazing to serve and cook the in! The porch was amazing for morning coffee, gathering around the beautiful fire pit and enjoying the views of the beautiful scenery! The garage was perfect for extra space and the ping png table was used for MANY ping pong tournaments! We were all together in a beautiful big space, out in the country and we simple just loves it!! The host were perfect and was only a phone call/text away. They really wanted us to have a great time and they answered all questions, and were so very kind!

Country space

The property was amazing! We had plenty of room. The kitchen was very spacious for cooking and visiting. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The views were amazing and was pleasant being outside. The hosts were great to communicate with. We will be coming back!

Families and Friendship

We loved our stay at this home. The accommodations are beyond impressive. The kitchen has all of the items that you have at your own home which provides guests with the ability to cook without having to bring everything with you. We brought our fire arms and used the sporting clay machine along with the hand thrower. There’s a wonderful fire pit area and many outdoor games. as a Vrbo owner myself, I charge a place based on two things that I provide at my own home. Toilet paper and linens. This location provides the top end of both, and when comfort and relaxation is the goal they are equally important. I highly recommend

Dakota country home

Our stay at the Dakota Country home was wonderful. The house was perfect for our family. We had lots of room for everyone. Jake and Sandy have the house stocked with all the amenities needed. The garage with all the games was a great place for everyone to hang out in the evenings. I would highly recommend the Dakota Country home as a great place to stay.

Great Retreat Location

This was a great space for an intimate christian women’s retreat. The beds are really comfortable. Most bedrooms have their own bathroom. From the kitchen to the bathrooms it’s stocked well. The owners were more than accommodating when we asked for an extra table for dining. BEloved Ministries will definitely use this location in the future.

Luxurious Accomodations

We had nine adults stay here comfortably. Plenty of space and absolutely all the amenities!! I love to cook and the kitchen had a large fridge/freezer, convection oven, gas grill. The huge garage was great to just hang out and have drinks/app at the bar and you can even play some ping pong. Worked great for our hunting group!!

Great Property for a Friends and Family get together

I am very happy with my stay in the property. It had everything you need to spend some time with your friends and family away from the busy city life. Jake was very flexible with the CheckIn and CheckOut times. He was reachable all the time to answer any questions. He also decorated the property for Christmas for us. The property is big enough for 5 families and 15-20 people. We will be back soon to spend few more weekends.
