"PIER JOY!" - 3BR WATERFRONT HOME W/PRIVATE DOCK

Gorgeous view, expansive covered back porch with fans & cascading stairs down to paver patio, fire pit and a dock where you catch an abundance of crabs! Large master suite with huge bath offering over-sized frameless glass shower, deep soaking tub & custom closet. Stunning glass addition off master suite w/cathedral ceiling, ideal for lounging or work from home! Wow view! Expansive kitchen with granite countertops, center island/breakfast bar & cathedral ceiling!

For security, the home is equipped with 3 Ring doorbells (cameras) -- 1/ located at the front door, covering only the front porch & steps; 2/ located on the front left side of the home, covering the full driveway; 3/ located on far left side of the covered back porch, covering the full porch & backyard. All of these devices are in plain view & only cover the exterior of the home. There are NO devices in the home or that can see into the home. Please let your host know if you are uncomfortable with the Ring cameras & we can disable them during your stay.

We stayed at Pier Joy for a week and had an absolute blast! The hosts were great—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. There was tons to do, from relaxing on the deck to exploring the water. We caught a lot of crab right off the pier, which was a highlight for our family. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect spot to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with easy water access and plenty of fun right outside your door!

This family of 5 had a great stay. Love the water views and ammenities - everything we needed including extra blankets and wood for fireplace - very homey and comfortable with plenty of space - thanks so much for a very enjoyable Thanksgiving trip to see family in Maryland.

Relaxing on the waterfront

We are a retired couple and met our daughter and boyfriend for a reunion on Memorial Day Weekend. This home provided everything we needed and more. The outdoor space was a great place to relax or dine outside. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit one evening and enjoying the peace and quiet. The kitchen was one of the best equipped of any place we have stayed allowing us to prepare most of our meals at home. This home is pet friendly and the owners provide several nice touches to make furry family members comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in this rental. It was so comfortable, beautiful and clean. One of the very best we have stayed. Appreciate being able to have the owners share this home with VRBO followers. Hope to return later in the right season to try to crab off their dock. Loved all the geese.

Was only for a few days but the views were peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. The house had everything you’d need to just show up with clothes and enjoy. The list of local restaurants and grocery was super helpful.

Midship Visit

We had a relaxing weekend with our midshipman and pier joy was beautiful. Great kitchen and family room to cook and watch movies together. Very quiet area for rest and deep sleep. Fantastic outdoor space for coffee and reading. Was the perfect home for our time together and the hosts were responsive and helpful!

Fantastic location!

We had a great family weekend. Even though we had a little rain we lived on the back porch just watching the drizzle on the water. The house is set up well for family time. Very peaceful! Would definitely come again !

New Years at Pier Joy

Pier Joy was a great location for a family get together south of Annapolis on the Bay. The view was lovely on the water. The house had great kitchen for cooking together. Well supplied. Bedrooms upstairs were lovely. Master bath wonderful. We would love to come back in the summer when we could enjoy the pier and the back deck. Jeff and Joan were very accommodating answering all questions — and providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants. We will definitely return!

Wintry getaway

Pure Joy at Pier Joy

The photos of this fabulous home does not do it justice! We fell in love with this location during our here for our son’s wedding in Maryland and we hated to leave this lovely property! Perfect Chesapeake Bay getaway with the family!

Pier Joy was perfect for a long weekend with the family. I trailered my boat out from DC and used the private dock at the house. Surprisingly easy. In good weather, it’s great home base for a beautiful cruise up to Annapolis or across to the Eastern shore. The house is gorgeous and exactly as advertised. Joan and Jeff were fantastic hosts, very responsive and Jeff even took time to help me get the boat in and out.
