The Blue Crab Beach House - Free beach passes

Welcome to The Blue Crab just a few blocks from the Chesapeake Bay. You will enjoy staying at our newly renovated luxury cottage. We are located on the very popular 7th Street where you can walk to the beach, a variety of restaurants, and shops. We have FREE beach passes for up to 4 guests.

Featuring a fully fenced yard, our beach cottage is the perfect choice for families who want to bring their dog/s along for the fun. With a beach theme throughout, our rental is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day at the beach.
In the family room, you'll find a comfortable surround couch and a cozy fireplace, perfect for relaxing on cool nights. The fully fenced backyard features a deck - proving the perfect spot for outdoor dining and even star gazing. Featuring a complete laundry room with a washer and dryer, you won't have to worry about running out of clean clothes during your stay. Also, choose off street or on street parking - whichever you prefer.

We provide all linens, beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels, making it easy for you to pack light and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. And with a safe, friendly neighborhood that takes pride in its surroundings, you'll feel right at home during your stay.

This place was perfect for us! Close to everything in a quiet area. Very cozy and cute. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, when we cooked. Pillows and blankets were clean and compfy. Sheets were soft and bed was great. TVs in each room was an enjoyed plus. Washer and dryer were new and easy to use.We will stay again!

Danielle was a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and made the process of booking, checking in and staying in this cute beach house so easy. The house was clean and the yard was great for our senior dog.

My husband and I and our daughter and her husband and their pup were in town for a wedding at Herrington Harbour and this was absolutely the best place to stay! Clean easy comfy convenient! The hosts decorated this charming "tiny home " so cute and all of the little touches including nice hand soap! did not go unnoticed! If in town for that venue again, we would totally stay again and highly recommend to anyone else who needs a place to stay for the weekend!! PS We also loved being able to walk to the Wheelhouse beer garden and the North Beach boardwalk!!!

We had a great time at the blue crab, the house was exactly as pictured and perfect for 2 people and a dog! We were able to walk to Bay Ave to visit the shops and restaurants. They showed a movie at dusk on the beach, which was about a 10 min walk from the house. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful cottage within walking distance to fun dining experiences, the beach, and the pier as well as some cute shops. Very well appointed--comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cottage!

Really cute house that met all our needs. It was so clean and well kept. Kitchen had everything we needed, as well as the bathrooms and bedrooms. Beds were comfy. North Beach is a cute little town but the beach itself was crowed. So we ventured out and spent the day at Breezy Point Beach which was wonderful. Even drove out to Dunkirk and found a great playground for the grandkids. Everything was within a 20 min drive.

Great with kids and / or dogs

This is our second time staying with this host (we stayed at Lazy Crab next door last summer). Both houses are great for families with kids and dogs. Blue crab has the advantage of 2 bathrooms , which was helpful after the beach. The house has a couple stairs between living room and bedrooms and kitchen. Our toddler enjoyed the stairs but depending on the age of kids, this might be a consideration to choose Lazy Crab instead. Danielle was very quick to respond when we had questions. The Bakist cafe is only about 10 min walk and has great breakfast and lunch options, opens at 6 am. We also love the library with the best view of the bay. Would definitely come back again!

Independence Day Fun

We had an amazing time at North Beach and the house was perfect. Ideal location within walking distance of the beach, ice cream shops, boardwalk, library, and farmers market. Having the provided beach passes made enjoying the beach a breeze. Everything was in working order and clean. Thanks Danielle!

North Beach Gem

My husband and I stayed here for our 2 year anniversary and brought our dog with us! The home is lovely- brightly lit and cutely decorated with the essence of the Chesapeake. Our dog loved the enclosed yard to run around. The house is such a short walk from the beach, and the passes were amazing to have for beach access. The neighborhood is safe, convenient, and fun! We loved our stay and would come again.

Fabulous Father's Day wknd

My husband was pleasantly surprised with the stay for Father's day. He so loves his dog and I knew if we stayed at a quaint spot that was pet friendly he would really enjoy Father's day. The back yard was Perfect!!!The house is very cute, well decorated, and just the right space for my family of 3. It was a great location for the my daughter to meet us who traveled from DC and we came up from Richmond. Since it rained the second day the place felt fun and cozy, while we enjoyed some Netflix. Thank you so much for a great time at the Blue Crab Beach House. I would love a second stay!!

The Blue Crab is an absolutely lovely home in a great location with many walking options. Restaurants, shops, and the beach are all a short walk. It is also nice to walk around the neighborhood and chat with the friendly neighbors and visitors you pass along the way. This is a wonderful community and it doesn’t take long to recognize that during your stay. The house is full of character and is well appointed with things you would need during your stay. Danielle is very attentive, responding quickly to any questions you might have with helpful information. We love staying here and can’t wait for an opportunity for a third trip!

Perfect 2 bedroom with a great location

The Blue Crab Beach House was exactly what we needed for our stay in Maryland during our daughter's college graduation. We could tell that the home is well taken care of and thoughtfully maintained. It was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to laundry detergent and beach towels. The location is fantastic, close to everything yet peaceful enough to really relax and enjoy some quiet time. The beautiful backyard is spacious, private, and its pet friendly, which made us wish we could have brought our pups along to enjoy it too!

Quick weekend away

The property is exactly as described and the communication was excellent. Easy to find and park and walkable to restaurants and the bay. Beds were comfortable, TV I instructions provided and easy to follow. It's a super cute beach bungalow. I would highly recommend and we would stay again.one note: one of the bathrooms has a wicked downstep to get into. It is clearly marked, but unusual. Just a note if you have anyone that has bad knees(or even too many adult beverages lol). Bathroom in the master is level and easy to use. And it has a nice sized shower.

There’s just something special about the waterfront views, the friendly atmosphere, and of course, all the incredible food and local restaurants. We never get tired of strolling the boardwalk, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying everything the Bay has to offer.

We provide several amenities for your convenience such as cable and internet, Smart TVs, living room fireplace with a large surround couch, beach chairs/umbrella/towels, a fully fenced yard, along with off street parking. The neighborhood is very quaint and friendly. Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk and the town is very dog friendly.
