Close to local beaches, beachcombers welcome!

9th Street East is one unit of a recently remodeled duplex. A centrally located space that is inviting you to come relax and recharge in the slower paced life of Port Orford. Spend your days inside relaxing, or adventure outside to the nearby rivers, beaches and lake.

Located just blocks away from many locals beaches including: Battle Rock Beach, Tseridian State Park and the Port of Port Orford. And just minutes away from Paradise Point and Cape Blanco. Spend countless hours walking the beaches searching for agates, exploring tide pools, beachcombing, whale watching or relaxing watching the sunset. Port Orford is home to the only dolly dock on the west coast. Watch fishing vessels be launched and retrieved out of the water with cranes.

Just a few miles North, enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Elk River or Sixes River. Depending on the season, either enjoy a day relaxing by the water in the Summer, or fish for salmon or steelhead in the Fall.

Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave, glass top cook stove and all the amenities. You only need to bring your groceries!

Rest and relax in the cozy living room. Stream TV on a wall mounted flat screen TV while enjoying an electric fireplace on our sofa with built in recliners.

Start your day with a hot shower in our full size shower/ bathtub combo. And fall asleep in either the master bedroom with a queen size bed, or the guest bedroom with a double size bed.

Around the corner, in every direction, are popular local food establishments: Crazy Norwegians, Redfish, Golden Harvest, Cafe Gemma and Portside Cafe; just to name a few.

East Side Retreat is the perfect getaway for 4 guests. Meeting up with friends or family? Additional guests have the option of renting our West Side Retreat VRBO 2692653 for guests who love to travel together, but would like more personal space and separate sleeping arrangements.

Very pleasant accommodations

Access was smooth and easy. Accommodations were clean and pleasant. Nice touch with local rocks and shells as well as personalized recommendations and "things to know." All in all excellent. Would highly recommend.

Exploring Port Orford

We came down to the southern Oregon coast because we’d never seen the beaches down there. Only Oregon northern beaches. Which are amazing but the spectacular views of the ocean from port Orford and Brookings blew us away. This was a clean comfortable place to stay close to everything!

Weekend at port orford

Spent the weekend for a friends wedding. This house was immaculate and beautifully furnished. There were a number of helpful amenities and the kitchen had many helpful items to cook meals. Would definitely return again to this home.

Visiting new baby

We visited Port Orford to spend time with my new grandson. Perfect location as I could walk to my son’s house. House is well stocked with the dishes and utensils to cook a family dinner. The beds are comfortable and the place is really easy to live in. I will definitely stay again.
