Newly renovated home just steps from the beach!

Located just 1 house off the beach and walking distance to historic downtown, Sand Castle is the perfect spot for your relaxing Cape Charles getaway!

This open floor plan features a spacious light filled family room, brand new kitchen with all new appliances, eat in bar and bonus flex space perfect for indoor dining or remote working (free wifi included). The private, fenced in backyard provides ample space to dine outdoors and also includes a grill, beach chairs and fabulous new outdoor shower. The screened porch not only includes a large dining table but is also the perfect shady spot to relax and take in the beautiful Cape Charles sunsets.

Sandcastle offers three bedrooms, two full baths and one half bath in addition to the spacious, newly remodeled outdoor shower. The master bedroom includes a king size bed and newly renovated adjoining bathroom. The additional guest bedrooms include a King and Queen size beds respectively.

Recently featured in Coastal Living as one of America's "Happiest Beach Towns", Cape Charles is known for its authentic charm, beautiful sunsets, family friendly beaches and many outdoor activities. We hope you will love it as much as we do!

Property exactly as described - Excellent! Stayed with a College classmate & wife and another couple. All in late 70's and 80, so one floor was a must. Clean, well stocked kitchen, pantry, and two coffee makers. Few minutes to the beach and beautiful sunsets. Will stay again!

We had a fantastic stay here. The location is perfect and you can even hear the waves from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The master bathroom has a great shower as well! The outdoor shower and backyard were great for our kids after the beach. We will definitely be back!

Best week away

We love Cape Charles and coming back with this house was the right move. You are so close to the beach it makes it so easy with little kids to walk and carry all the beach items. The house was great and spacious and well done. We loved the week and hope to be back again!

Great property in a great location!

We loved our stay in this Cape Charles home. Very updated, close to everything in town, short walk to the beach, wonderful older neighborhood with lots of trees, and great fenced backyard. The outdoor shower was amazing. I cooked, and the kitchen was very easy to work in.. Everything I needed was there. The beds were very comfortable as was the big sofa in the living room. Having a screened in porch was so nice. My husband drank his coffee out there each morning. We walk to most places in town. We loved Brown Dog Ice Cream and all the small shops. The bakery was wonderful. Breakfast at the Cape Charles Coffee Shop was yummy! We hope to come again and stay longer!

This was our second stay at Sandcastle. Great location and place to stay! Missed some amenities like a TV in bedrooms at night and a simple hair dryer. Could not have been much better though all and all! great stay

Quiet!

Nice cottage, private back yard, tastefully decorated, on-street parking, so quiet, very close to the beach. Walkable town, but a golf cart is fun! Hope to visit again!

Great Week in Cape Charles

The property was perfect for our group of three couples. Our family had a great time being so close to the beach and 'into town'. A great place to stay and will stay here again when we come back to Cape Charles.

Return guest to this perfect home. New outdoor shower was perfect for post beach clean ups. We enjoyed the enclosed porch one rainy evening. Can’t beat the location. Will be back next year!!

Great location, nice porch, everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is awesome. The beach is just across the road. The beds are comfortable. The house has a nice fenced in back yard. The outdoor shower is very nice. Only hitch for us was the coffee maker carafe was broken when we arrived so we had to go out to get coffee all week. Excellent house all around, would definitely recommend.

Great house, great location

We've spent several summers at Sand Castle — both before and after the renovation a couple years ago. The renovation was really well done, and made an already great house even better. The hosts are very kind and easy to work with. We hope to stay again next year!

Front Porch Sitting

We had a short but delightful visit. Undoubtedly, the highlight of the property was its front porch. The updated kitchen and bathrooms added modern charm, while the open floor plan was perfect for social gatherings and cooking. We had a great time playing cornhole in the fenced backyard, and the outdoor shower made clean-up easy. And best of all, the beach was just steps away.

Cape Charles stay #3

This was our first stay at this location. Loved being so close to the beach and being able to bring our furbabies. The house was nice and spacious. We hope to return again next year.

We fell in love with Cape Charles during our very first visit in 2020! The golf cart community, the quaint downtown area, the incredible sunsets, the beautiful beach- we couldn't get enough. It is the perfect place to unwind and has become a very special spot for our family.
