Welcome to Bouillante, 10 minutes from Malendure beach, home to the Cousteau Reserve. You are 2 minutes from La Source Park, 20 minutes from Les Mamelles Park, 50 minutes from the beaches of Deshaies, and 1 hour from the airport and La Soufrière volcano. Purchased in August 2024, the Jardin d'Agatine house has been completely redesigned based on our experiences to welcome you with maximum comfort, amenities, and tranquility. Created in early 2025 and fully equipped with brand new furnishings, Canopée comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. This 200m² property comprises the entire ground and first floors of a villa with two apartments (Canopée and Bougainvillier). It features a spacious open-plan living area opening onto the outdoors, a large terrace, a suspended net, and a private, secure swimming pool with an alarm. Canopée is situated in a quiet location with views of the sea and the canopy. We have done everything possible for your well-being and comfort, with ample space for everyone (each bedroom is air-conditioned and equipped with its own bathroom/toilet) and all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay (dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer). A unique 13m² swimming pool with sea views will provide you with relaxation and refreshment. The accommodations are accessible on the first floor. The entrance is under a patio and is private. The sleeping area comprises four suites, all air-conditioned (new installation) with new, high-comfort bedding and mattress toppers. Each suite has a private toilet and shower room with a walk-in shower, as well as luggage storage and a wardrobe. A baby cot is available free of charge. - The first suite, measuring 24.62 m², includes a 160x200 cm double bed, a shower room, and a separate toilet. The entire west-facing side of the room is open, offering views of the forest and the sea. Rest assured, you have the option of closing everything off or not, and enjoying the view from your pillow. - The second suite, measuring 21 m², or the dormitory, includes two sets of two 90x200 cm bunk beds arranged like a cabin, each with individual lighting. A shower room and a separate toilet. Facing south, it benefits from the shade of the vegetation. - The third suite, 19m², includes a 160x200cm double bed, a shower room, and a separate toilet. It faces south and benefits from the shade of the vegetation. - The fourth suite, 25m², is located upstairs. It includes a 160x200cm double bed, a bathroom with a window, and a separate toilet. It is a through-unit with an east-southwest exposure and a sea view. - A surprise corner for chilling. The living areas are in a large open space with all modern comforts: - The 10 m² kitchen is equipped with new appliances: American-style refrigerator, cooktop, 24-place dishwasher, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, Delonghi Magnifica bean-to-cup coffee machine, and gas griddle. It also has ample storage for food. PGJyPg - The dining area, designed for 10 people, features a beautiful suar wood table with views of the forest and the sea, opening onto the outdoor terrace and swimming pool. Booster seats for children are available free of charge upon request. PGJyPg - The lounge, designed to comfortably accommodate everyone, faces southwest. It overlooks the kitchen, dining area, pool, and surrounding nature. - A cozy mezzanine with cushions. Outside: - A large 24m² terrace with armchairs and breathtaking views of the sea and rainforest. - A well-shaded 8m² catamaran-style net near the terrace for relaxation. - A private 13m² pool on stilts with stunning views will provide relaxation and refreshment. If you wish, an alarm with instructions is available to secure access. As a side note, we converted one of the shipping containers used for transporting construction materials. It contained all the tools and some materials such as the travertine for the bathrooms, paint, some of the electrical wiring, and plumbing. It flew over the hedge before finding its place. [PGJyPg] - a gas griddle. [PGJyPg] In the laundry room, you will find an 8kg washing machine and a dryer (for clean clothes only) for your convenience, as well as a clothes drying rack. It has enough space to store luggage. The exterior areas, the garden and the swimming pool are lit until 11:30 pm. The house is connected to a water cistern to compensate for the (rare) water outages.PGJyPg PGJyPg Possibility of renting in combination with Bougainvillea to accommodate up to 22 people. PGJyPg PGJyPg Due to its location near the forest, insects, spiders, and small, completely harmless wild animals live around the house and may enter. The same is true for Hylodes frogs (the small frogs that sing all night and when it rains). PGJyPg PGJyPg This rarely happens. To avoid this, we recommend: - keeping the kitchen bin inside the kitchen with its lid on, and when it's full, emptying it into the main bin outside. - storing food in closed spaces (cupboards or refrigerator) depending on the type of food. - closing the shutters when you're away.
