Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains from this rugged timber frame two-bedroom, two-bathroom downstairs condo (stair access only). The mountain view can be admired from the deck or the large picture windows in the open kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. This condo is beautifully decorated to compliment the custom upgrades. The kitchen features upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors and stainless-steel appliances and it is fully equipped to prepare a meal. The living room has a vaulted ceiling, cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable and cozy furniture, as well as a TV. The deck is thoughtfully equipped to enjoy outdoor living and dining with a built-in gas grill. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax inside or breathe in the fresh mountain air from the deck. If time allows, book for an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Wonderful mountain weekend

Excellent Condo

It was perfect for our weekend getaway to see an Appalachian football game. We grilled one night and the grill was a clean and a breeze to work. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place!!

Home was so nice.......

The house was was very clean and cozy. We stayed for my son's 13th birthday along with some of his friends. We took the boys snow tubing and they enjoyed the indoor pool. There was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again. Very easy check-in and check-out.

Wonderful condo with beautiful views!Easy scenic drive into Boone. Truly enjoyed our stay for a soccer tournament! Very small detail but there should be extra trash bags for the kitchen can left in the bottom or under the sink.

Wonderful Weekend Escape

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was the perfect weekend escape for our family. Great quiet place to relax. It is convenient to Boone. It was clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. Property staff was very helpful. We hope to have additional visits here.

Beautiful unit

This unit is perfect. Communication for arrival was easy and well defined. The unit itself was clean and well stocked. Views are amazing. We used the pool facilities and the kids loved them. Looking forward to going back to stay and experience that gorgeous outside pool

Perfect Getaway

Echota is perfectly situated between Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk - so you have access to great activities and amazing food choices! The condo was clean and quiet. The view from the back porch is stunning - perfect for Zoom backgrounds for working remotely by day and drinks and dinner on the porch by night! All the amenities needed in the home and resort. We'll be back!

Simply perfect

We had a great stay at this condo. Great view. Easy drive to Boone and other areas. This condo has everything you could possibly need and was very roomy. Easy check in and out. The gas grill and gas logs were an added plus. We hope to return back in 2023. This did not disappoint. Thank you.

This place was very disappointing especially since all of the reviews were great. We chose this place specifically because it had indoor pool and hot tub access and a gas log fireplace. The hot tub was broken and the fireplace didn’t work. On top of that, the condo was not clean. We found open food and candy under the couch along with months of dust and other trash. It was really disgusting. We should have stayed where we did the year before. It was smaller but clean and well kept. You can tell this place is run by a rental company which just posts the listing on VRBO - it’s not really used by the real owners - at least I hope not as they would be horrified by the property’s condition. Also there were limited towels and we ran out of hot water very quickly (after like one and a half normal showers). Stay somewhere else - trust me.

AMAZING!!!

Was more than we could have asked for after such a terrible year for our family. We we’re looking for a quiet, fun retreat an everything couldn’t have been more perfect! Had everything we needed, the fireplace, laundry room, and having a pool, were great additions (especially with little ones) an was so close to everything at the same time. (We were able to do a new activity everyday, from Mystery Hill, to Grandfather Mountain an it’s swinging bridge, to the High Gravity zip line & ropes course to Linville Falls & Caverns! Hope to visit again soon, maybe see what winter attractions we can accomplish! Thank you for giving our family such an amazing place to spend our bring break vacation, somewhere that felt like home. Great Vacation Experience!

Love the property! Extremely clean. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds with extra blankets and pillows. Well decorated. Highly recommend! The only negatives were the management company only provided one tiny container of body wash and shampoo for each bathroom…we ran out of soap and body wash after the first two days and had to go buy some….would have packed my own had I known this. Also, you have to take your own trash to the dumpster which was a four minute drive from our rental. On check out day our car was full of luggage so we had to hold the bags of trash on our laps and drive them to the dumpster 🤢 Would better if each complex had a dumpster.

Also, the Chalakee community has a dumpster at the end of the street, it was highlighted on your map from check-in. I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. Great Views

This property is absolutely amazing mostly because it is so new. The views from the back balcony are better than the photos. The listing said bring firewood with us, but there was nowhere to use it? Everything about this place is top notch. i just did not like the fact that we had to clean, dry and put away our own dishes. What if the last group did not clean well, I prefer a professional clean the cutlery?
