Welcome to the Hummingbird Suite, conveniently located a mile from the shoppes and restaurants of downtown Highlands and half a mile from the beautiful waterfalls of Glenn Falls.

Guests have private entrance to the suite and exclusive use of the courtyard patio with self check-in.

The space
Welcome to the Hummingbird Suite. We’re conveniently located a little over a mile from the shoppes and restaurants of downtown Highlands and half a mile from the beautiful triple waterfalls of Glenn Falls and half a mile from the Farm at Old Edwards.

After a long day of hiking and exploring, you will love sinking into the new king-size Tuft and Needle mattress with 800 thread count sheets. The rainfall shower head, deluxe bath linens, Gilchrist+ Soames Reserve bath products, and heated floors in both the bathroom and the bedroom complete your stay in Highlands.

Guests will also enjoy the separate and large living room attached to the bedroom. There is a comfortable queen-size convertible bed which is perfect for families with young children or for two couples.

Before you head out on your day’s adventures, make your morning cup of coffee or tea in the kitchenette, which includes a new Keurig coffee machine, tea kettle, and mini-refrigerator. We recommend enjoying your coffee outside on the courtyard patio on one of four comfortable Adirondack chairs around the fire pit! (Firewood replenished daily)

When you return for the evening, cozy up on the couch to watch a movie on the 50 inch flat screen television or read one of the many books on the bookshelf. Netflix, Disney Channel, HBO Max and Prime Video available for your viewing pleasure. You could also build a puzzle or play one of the games we’ve provided for the game table.

At the Hummingbird suite, we’ve thought of everything to make your stay in Highlands memorable. We believe 4118’ is truly the elevation of happiness and we hope you do too!

**Guests have private entrance to the entire suite and exclusive use of the courtyard patio with self check-in.

1 small dog is allowed; however, it must be pre-approved.

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at the hummingbird retreat! It was plenty spacious and the host really thought of everything! I.E. wife forgot her phone charger, boom! Iphone chargers were on BOTH nightstands! 10/10 experience!

This is a beautiful suite! So spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed and so many nice extras and special touches. Julie was a joy to work with; communication was easy. She followed up to see how we were doing, even making nice suggestions for things to do around Highlands. The location is great, just outside of town but close enough to make an easy trip of anything we sought to do. We will definitely return and are looking forward to it!

Short Trip to the Highlands

Great two night stay, the hummingbird suite was very cozy, quiet, and clean. Lots of small touches and details like snacks, water, chocolates, etc made it even better. Close proximity to downtown was also great. Will definitely stay again next time.

The Perfect Getaway

My husband, mother and son stayed at the Hummingbird Suite for a wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards. Not only was the suite so conveniently located to the wedding site but it was extremely close to the cute little downtown area as well. The Hummingbird Suite far exceeded our expectations! Julie was easy to contact and antipated any need of her guests stay. Some of the amenities we foud were, robes, smore makings and pokers, snacks, coffee/hot chocolate/ creamer, filtered water station, hairdryer, steamer, special make up towels, high quality shampoo/conditioner, and extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The place was private, quiet and clean- it did not feel like it was attached to a larger home and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Weekend Getaway

The house was great, and just as described in the listing. Notably closer to downtown than the map would suggest (which was a plus!). The hosts clearly went out of their way to make it feel like home which was a very nice touch. Super comfy bed. But the outside fire pit was easily the best part, and really a gigantic plus on the overall experience. Would stay again just for that.

Luxury retreat

This place felt like staying in a luxury hotel. Not a full “cabin” or apartment (only a kitchenette), but cozy, private, and pampered by the host. Having snacks and variety of coffee and tea options was an unexpected and welcomed touch. I think the only thing Old Edwards would have on this suite would be the downtown location!

Beautifully appointed suite

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hummingbird suite. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood about a mile and a half from downtown Highlands. Julie has thought of every last amenity and detail to make our stay so pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable. We will be back.

Charming Space!

The guest house was just right for a weekend celebration. It’s the most thoroughly stocked with supplies and needs of any rental we’ve used over many years. It could not have been easier and the host is thoughtful and proactive. We were ten minutes or less to all the major restaurants. Clean, comfortable and beautiful!
