This completely remodeled luxury condo is the perfect getaway! This is a true golf and ski side condo in the heart of Cedar River Village at Shanty Creek Resorts. In the summer, you are steps away from the Pro Shop for the Cedar River golf course or sit on the patio overlooking the 18th green and pond of the Tom Weiskopt designed golf course. In the winter, ski right from the front door to the Shanty Creek purple lift and enjoy the day on the slopes or snowmobile miles of trails. Enjoy meals at the condo or walk over to the River Bistro restaurant and bar at the Cedar River Lodge. This is an excellent location for all activities. This condo has had a complete makeover and has a full kitchen, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, patio with an 18th hole view, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. This place is truly one of a kind!
Close to Short's Brewery and the quaint town of Bellaire. This condo offers year round activities...
GOLF - Enjoy golf at some of Michigan's best courses! The resort has 4 distinct courses including Arnold Palmer's The Legend, Tom Weiskopf's Cedar River, the challenging Schuss Mountain Course and the original Summit Golf Course.
BIKING & HIKING - explore the Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area for hiking, mountain biking and winter sports trails which are __ minutes from the condo.
BOATING: Just a few minutes to Lake Bellaire part of the chain of lakes, including Torch Lake! Spend the day boating the beautiful lakes, either bring your own boat or rent one. There are many nearby marinas including Torch River Marina to rent a ski boat or pontoon. The public boat launch is 6 miles from the condo.
KAYAKS - Paddles & Pedals in downtown Bellaire offers kayak rentals at a reasonable price. You can also bring your own and store it in our garage.
GRASS RIVER NATURAL AREA - 12 minutes away is Northern Michigan Premier Nature Preserve. Seven miles of trails and boardwalks take visitors through cedar swamp, sedge meadows and upland forest. You can also access trails by docking your small boat or kayak from Grass River. See their website for more information.
WINTER – every snow activity is available - skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, tubing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling (can snowmobile out to trails from condo), plenty of room in garage to store your equipment

July Golf Trip

This place is beautiful. Very comfortable and spacious. Very well stocked, very clean with comfortable beds. The view from the patio was great. I will definitely ask for this place the next golf trip to Shanty Creek. Communication with Rob was smooth, quick responses and even proactively checked in to see if we had any questions or concerns. Very pleasant experience.

Ski Trip

40th Bday Ski Trip

We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and had a fantastic time at the condo for my 40th. Great location, and was cool to ski in/ski out. Defintely the most well stocked vrbo I have ever stayed in as well. They had everything you need. I will defintely be back.

This was our second time staying at this condo. We love the convenience of the ski in/out and how close it is to the pro shop. It’s also perfect for our group size.

Best VRBO we’ve stayed in

We’ve stayed here several years in a row and every time we do we talk about how well appointed and organized it is. The hosts have thought of everything and it’s incredibly welcoming. Add to that that the location for skiing literally can’t be beat with access out the front door. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazing stay!

We loved this property. There was so much space for my family! We had two pre-teens and two adults. The beds were so comfortable and you cannot beat the location you can ski right to the lift! The property also was well stocked with toiletries, cleaning products, and even hot cocoa. Will definitely book again.

Ski weekend

The accommodations were wonderful. There was ample cups, plates, silverware. Nice to have dish soap, dishwasher tabs, etc available at property. Beds were comfortable and ample towels. Would return again!

Ski get away

It was wonderful! We arrived on Christmas Day and were pleasantly surprised that there was a holiday tree!. Everything was clean and you can’t bet the ski in/ski out location!

Great Host - Great Property

As usual, we enjoyed our stay. Robert has a very nice and clean property that is super close to the ski lift. A true ski in and out location when there is snow. Thanks for another great trip.

Great golf view on 18 green. We enjoyed the patio every day. The condo was Very comfortable and clean. Wonderful kitchen with all you might need. I would highly recommend this wonderful property.

Wonderful winter weekend

The place was great. Perfect location near the purple lift. It was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed to make meals. I did bring my own crockpot. One tip… whe. You park in the drive way head to the left when facing the garage and go down the stairs for entry door and lock box.

Best spot at Cedar Village

Our family has returned this year to the best spot to ski Schuss and the Cedar River Village area with easy access to slopes and beautiful views. This place is well appointed and well maintained! Thanks again for sharing your wonderful place!

Amazing ski in/out location

This is our second stay at this condo and we couldn't have been more happy. The location can't be beat for skiing (it's maybe 10 feet to the slopes). The condo is well organized, clean, and perfect for a winter getaway. We plan to come back next year!

Awesome location!

Location was fabulous, very close to some really nice golf courses. This condo overlooks the 18th green at Cedar River. Close walk to the course, but less then 10 minute drive to others. Condo is close to downtown Belaire and Torch Lake which was a lot of fun. Place was super clean and well organized!

Perfect Location!

My husband and I, along with another couple, loved our stay in this beautiful condo! The patio & view couldn’t be better! The condo is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Rob has thought of everything! The kitchen is well stocked and organized. We definitely would stay there again!

Loved this place!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo and amazing location! Very clean and had everything we could ask for. Mostly I loved sitting out on the patio overlooking the 18th hole, so peaceful and relaxing, drinking my morning coffee, and listening to nature. I would definitely stay here again… Can’t wait until my next visit!

The Perfect Golf Weekend Getaway

Excellent place for a golf outing. Perfect view of the 18th hole (surrounded by water on two sides) on the Cedar River. Walking distance to the pro shop. 10 min drive to just about every other resort and a grocery store. 20 min from Belaire. Clean, modern design with an excellent kitchen for cooking meals. We would love to stay again.
