Immerse yourself in the beauty of The Great Smoky Mountains with a stay in this secluded and luxurious chalet! This newly-built cabin retreat offers a spacious, open floor plan with high ceilings and gorgeous natural lighting. The fully-stocked gourmet chef's kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances will help you entertain the group and create lasting memories together.

With breathtaking views, the living room hosts an easy-to-use gas fireplace to keep you cozy in front of the 65-inch Smart TV for movie nights in. Two of the three bedrooms also have their own Smart TV.

It wouldn't be a true mountain getaway without a beautiful backyard area complete with a charcoal grill, perfect for preparing a nice smoky meal, and stone fire pit, ideal for after dinner star-gazing and storytelling. When it gets cold, there's nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine or favorite cocktail from the steamy hot tub (views of Mt. LeConte included for free)!

One of the best things about this Chalet is the location! Just 1.5 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg and mere steps away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, it is conveniently located with all major attractions, shops, and trails close by.

No matter the season, there is something magical about a mountain cabin retreat! While there are many wonderful locations in the world to visit, nothing compares to our little corner of paradise, and we are so excited to share it with you!

Great property! Super location close to town and the national park. We had a wonderful stay at this chalet. We really enjoy the Bear and her two cubs the first morning. Great way to start our vacation. Hot tub was a nice bonus after long days of hiking. Overall an excellent experience for the family!

Our stay was great! There was plenty of space for my husband, my 3 children, and myself (3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms). Yes, the drive up is steep from the Gatlinburg strip and the driveway is very steep as well, but it is located near everything. We were a 5 minute drive to the Gatlinburg strip and one of the entrances to the National Park. We were 25-30 minutes from Pigeon Forge (Dollywood attractions). We saw bears daily either on the property or around the property. We had a few things come up where we had to contact the host and she got back to us almost immediately. She was so nice and responsive. This is a great spot. The place was great and the location was even better.

We had a great time! Excellent location, just minutes from Gatlinburg but still far away to feel you’re in the woods. The cabin is located at the top of a hill, you must be a pro at hills if you’re driving shift, you literally go UP the hill to get to the cabin. The highlight of our stay was when an early morning we had a visit from mama bear with her cubs!!! Seeing bears is not a guaranteed so we were super happy that we got to see them up close! Everything you need is available in the kitchen, good size w/d, the size of the cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The backyard was very nice, we got to grill and make s’mores, very relaxing, oh we also got to see a few fireflies and an American Goldfinch bird. Great communication with Irene, she was great. We hope we can come back again in the future!

Overall really enjoyed our time! House was homey and loved the location. Only bear siting of the week was right by the house. Only reason we wouldn’t stay again is they don’t allow for electric vehicle charging. That was a big deal because we had to drive all the way to the charger in pigeon forge every day to charge. Also the couch was far from comfortable. Those two things aside it’s really a stellar cabin!

Nice cabin with an opportunity to see wildlife

Nice spacious cabin with amenities as described. Host was quick to respond to any issues & inquiries. Had a minor issue with a smoke detector that Irene was quick to help resolve so 10/10 for communication. Views are great and our kids loved it. We even got to see a baby and mama bear right down the drive on our last night!There was a slight issue with cleanliness. Most everything seemed clean but it was obvious the floors were not cleaned prior to arrival as our 11month old was caked in black dirt all week whenever he would crawl around (we never wore shoes in house and was like this on arrival.) There was also dirt in tubs upon arrival.I’m sure that is something that will be taken care of in future and all in all would for sure recommend this beautiful cab to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect place to spend our 2025 summer vacation

The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need for a turn key rental. It is at the top of a steep drive that our Toyota Camry and Corolla made it up. Just stay to the right of the driveway. Make sure to remove all food from your vehicle and lock it. We removed all of the food but forgot to lock it one day and a momma bear and her two babies opened the door and checked out the interior of one of our cars. (Got it all on video) We also had a family of Barred owls just behind the house that we got to see everyday. This house was perfect and situated at the top of a quiet hillside. After a long day of exploring the Great Smokey Mountains it was nice to come back and relax on the front porch with a cold drink and enjoy the peace and quiet. We will definitely stay here again!

Smokies Hide-a-way

We had a great vacation at the Chalet. It was tucked away up the mountain and had a secluded feel to escape the hustle of town, yet be super close.Accommodations were clean, spacious for our family of four, and everyone enjoyed the layout. The deck and hot-tub were great.Would definitely come back again.

Great location!

We stayed at the chalet during our first visit to Gatlinburg. It was exactly as pictured and the cleanest vacation rental we have stayed at. The location was nice, secluded and conveniently located. We loved being so close to the park and all the fun things Gatlinburg offers, but in a quiet,peaceful location. The driveway is VERY steep and challenging to navigate, so if you have a low profile vehicle I would consider that when booking. We did see lots of bears during our trip, one at the chalet. When they tell you to lock your doors take it seriously. The bear opened our vehicle door and climbed in!! Thankfully all was well but I wouldn’t want to do that again! Definitely book this chalet if your going to Gatlinburg!

Hiking in the Smokies

An absolutely beautiful stay away from it all. House wonderfully furnished and stocked with everything you need. As the trees were not leafed out yet we had incredible views. Near everything and yet away from it all!

Great Getaway

Loved our stay…it was very peaceful and relaxing! Very clean and well kept property with all the amenities. Our host Irene was very attentive to our questions and went out of her way to quickly get the power restored when we had an outage due to weather and some fallen trees. Such a great experience…can’t wait to come back! Unfortunately we didn’t see any bears…must’ve been hibernating..have to catch them next time!

After an extensive 2.5 year search for a property in the Smokies with no luck, we decided to build our own cabin! The location of the lot could not have been more perfect for us as it is so close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Downtown Gatlinburg, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, and all Chalet Village pools and recreation areas. Because it is located so near the wild forest, seeing bear, bobcat, wild turkey, and many different species of wildlife is commonplace. This just adds to the magic and charm!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Cove Mountain Trail is just above the property line, and you could step outside and hike without having to drive anywhere. Come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub on the spacious deck where you will have seasonal views of the glorious mountains.
Please use caution at all times as black bear also live here. NEVER leave food in your car and lock all doors. NEVER leave the cabin doors open as the bear will make themselves at home and walk inside. They also know how to open door knobs. It's best to keep the cabin doors locked when you are inside. It is very important for guests to understand that feeding bear intentionally or otherwise is ILLEGAL and will result in a citation. Feeding bear is a direct path to them eventually having to be euthanized!!! Don't do it!!!
