La gran casa de playa azul

¡No hay nada mejor que esto! Nuestra casa de dos pisos frente al mar está a solo unos segundos de la espectacular costa de Oregón.

La casa principal: en total, la casa principal tiene 5 habitaciones con espacio de sobra. Hay cuatro suites con vista al mar, cada una con baño privado, televisión de alta definición y patio personal. La quinta habitación es para los niños. Equipado con cuatro literas gemelas a medida y un nido extraíble doble, puede dormir cómodamente cinco.

Nuestra cocina: A los amantes de la cocina les encantará la lujosa cocina. Está equipado con dos hornos, dos lavavajillas, dos fregaderos, una nevera de 48 pulgadas, cocina a gas y nevera para vinos. Los cajones están llenos de cubiertos, los armarios con ollas y sartenes, todo lo que necesitará para mostrar sus habilidades culinarias. Y con capacidad para 14 en la mesa y cinco en el bar, hacer espacio para invitados hambrientos nunca es un problema.

La cabaña de invitados: La cabaña de invitados es un excelente lugar para escaparse. Con dos dormitorios, un baño completo, un sofá cama completo y una silla plegable en la sala de estar, tiene capacidad para seis personas. Tiene una cocina propia y una sala multimedia con Smart TV y muchos asientos.

Cosas divertidas: The Great Room tiene vistas al océano y cuenta con una chimenea de gas, sofás y sillones reclinables de cuero y un televisor de alta definición. En la Sala de juegos encontrarás mesas de ping-pong, futbolín y air hockey. Las pelotas, discos, remos y redes ya están allí, listos para jugar. También hay varias sillas de playa para su uso en un día soleado. En la segunda historia de la casa principal, encontrará un patio compartido con una bañera de hidromasaje para ocho personas con vista a la playa. Si puede alejarse de la casa, es un corto paseo a la playa a lo largo de un camino privado.

El final: cuando finalice su estadía en la costa de Oregón, encontrará, para su comodidad, una lavadora y secadora de gran capacidad en la lavandería.

The rooms and entire home were clean and very family friendly. There were plenty of towels for inside bathing/cooking , hot tub and out on the beach for a large group. The game room was very fun for several to be able to enjoy different games at same time. There are plenty of beach outside chairs for a group and very handy to have to enjoy the beach for a relaxing time (especially helpful for elderly and pregnant guests). We look forward to being able to stay at this home again.

Amazing place!

Big Blue is a special place. We loved being here and 14 people were very comfortable spending time, making meals and visiting together. It rained cats and dogs all weekend, but we were warm and safe inside.

Great time with beutiful view.

Very nice beach front home on the ocean. We had an exceptional time. The only negative is that the hot tub does not work very well which would have been super nice to be in at night overlooking the ocean and stay warm.

Sorry about the hot tub. We have it serviced every week, so I am surprised that it had an issue. Sometime the tub will inadvertently get put into "sleep" or "economy" mode, and when it does it only heats to a minimum level. Our guests are always encouraged to call us anytime that something is not right at the house, many times we can get the problem addressed right away. Thanks for the feedback!

Family time

We had a wonderful time at the property with our family. There are some lights that need to be fixed. The undercounter light over the sink, the stairway lights and one light in the barrel ceiling. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at Big Blue. House is just as described and more! Could not ask for a better venue for a gathering of friends. The weather didn’t cooperate for viewing the solar eclipse as we had hoped, but no one complained because we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

Big Blue

From the day I contacted the management about the house through our stay we could not be happier. The management was very responsive and good to work with. The amenities at the home was outstanding and covered about anything you may need. The house itself was by far the largest and nicest we have rented. It is beautiful, spacious, and has a wonderful ambiance. The location of the house on the beach was perfect. This home helped make our family reunion the most memorable yet! Thanks for allowing ten adults and ten children under eleven, have such a great time at this house. We will be back!

Great place for large group!

This is truly a great place for a large group. With a main house having 4 bedrooms with their own ocean view deck and each their own bathrooms, along with another bedroom with two sets of bunk beds all located in the main house, and the firepit on the back patio and a kitchen/dining room that can sit an army is all exactly what we needed for our large group. The Guest House above the garage is terrific with two bedrooms and daybed in the living room along with couches and very large screen TV and the playroom in the garage with ping pong etc was great. Outstanding place! Just a tip to be sure all cable boxes for each TV are in working order prior to the arrival of guests (three cable boxes worked, two we figured out and got them working after a cable reboot, one never worked as the cable box never came on). We found that the price is going up, having looked up coming back next year.... we won't be able to afford it going forward for the summer months unless the price remains the same, which is too bad, we love this place it is very awesome and works so well for a large group. The owners are great - very quick, responsive to our needs, and helpful as well!!

Beautiful home, beware of additional charges after

We rented this home with the intent to have multiple generations come together for the weekend and then decided to surprise them with a small wedding. It was the perfect place as it would sleep our whole family for the weekend, we would have space, could cook our favorite foods. etc...The home is beautiful! When we first arrived, we had to wait outside for the home to finish being cleaned despite arriving after the check in time. The housekeeping staff was still working and trying to fix the hot tub. We didn't let this initially deter us form enjoying this beautiful home. After all we wanted it to be clean when we were staying. After we got in and began to settle everyone into their rooms we began to notice a lot of things that were damaged, not working or in disrepair. The hot tub still was not working. We were told that it was fixed and should heat up. It never did and my family was really disappointing as this was a large part in deciding to rent this home. We kept a list (this is what the long list of instructions said to do). The dishwasher didn't work, there was a broken and unusable bed, the electrical in one of the main room was completely out except one lamp beside the bed, one of the game tables didn't turn on, etc. There were also stained carpets, towels, the BBQ grill was dirty and greasy. I wasn't complaining initially, the intent was just to let the owner know. When the list was given to the owner, the response was a long list of things that we did to the home and a request to pay double in housekeeping costs! One of the bathrooms had a dirty floor/toilet (one of our kids got sick and we missed the mess ) However, there were claims of the home being "abused" and in complete disrepair. There is a long list of things to do when leaving the home. We expected this we have stayed in vacation rentals before. My family spent the entire morning at check out, stripping beds, starting laundry, washing dishes, taking out the trash, etc. We certainly did not leave the home a complete mess and followed everything on the list before leaving. I am a nurse and an honest person, if there was something that we did to this home to warrant 32 hours additional cleaning and double the amount for regular cleaning fees, I would kindly pay the amount and apologize profusely. If you choose to rent this home be sure to inspect everything upon arrival.

This guest thrashed our home and we would never rent to them again. The things they said were wrong with the home, simply are not true. They never called or contacted us during their stay to mention any of these fabricated issues with our home. Read all of our feedback to get a better idea of how we work with our guests and the condition of our home. We did send them a bill for the extra cleaning, but we have never been paid.

All I can say is WOW!!!This property was beyond what I expected. It accommodated the young kids and the older kids. The kitchen was amazing. We had everything we needed to make all of our food. The rooms were so comfortable. The Decor was darling!!I can go on and on. Thanks Big Blue for helping me create memories with my darling family!!!

We were bountifully blessed by our stay at "Big Blue". The location, lay-out of the house, Chef kitchen,decor...I could on and on. We had families and friends create memories of a life-time. We will be back, by the grace of God... Thank you so much.

Stunning view

This property was perfect for our 4 families with children of different ages. The view was breath taking, and waking up to it every morning made our stay absolutely worthwhile. Even though we were by the coast in June, we still lucked out with a couple of sunny days. The town was quaint, and everyone was friendly. We liked both restaurants we ate at, and got to do many sightseeing (the seals were just adorable!) The outdoor firepit was a hit for story-telling and s'mores. A few things I'd like to note: -the dishwasher at the guest house was labeled 'out of order' when we arrived, and was in the same condition when we left -there were 2 dishwashers in the main house, but only one operated -the smoke detector in the northwest bedroom kept beeping even after we replaced its battery. I also notice a missing detector in the northwest hallway -on one of the sunny days, we came home around 4 or 5 pm, and the house was very warm (temperature was 84 upstairs). The nice thing was, after we opened all windows and sliding doors, it cooled down after 30 minutes -this property seems to be a favorite to many, which is why I see many other areas needing upkeep (ripped window blinds, no landscape lights, etc.) -many basic spices in the kitchen but no sugar

A peaceful place for an intimate retreat

FANTASTIC 5 DAYS

Everyone in our family absolutely enjoyed every minute spent at the Big Blue. It was magical. Four bedrooms with balconies overlooking the ocean was perfect for our three adult children and us. I can not think of one negative moment, except the West sun beaming into the living room and wishing for some window cover; however, that was only for 2-3 hours in late afternoon. Our 85 yr old was able to walk down the stairs to the beach every day and this was a big bonus. The fire pit was amazing and enjoyed by all. WOW, this is such a special home. It has everything! Our kids enjoyed all the activities in the garage. We hope to return next year. Location is great!

We are grateful for the opportunity to stay at this wonderful house. We were provided everything we could have needed in terms of amenities. Right off the Hwy, easy access to shopping. The back Patio and Beach access were a dream come true! Our Family was very blessed by our time spent together in this house. Thank You!

This is a wide-open, spectacular stretch of sandy beach. Big Blue has an amazing long-distance view up and down the coastline! The privacy and vastness of this particular beach inspired the builders to craft a one-of-a-kind, unique home.

The house has an open design that draws people together while still allowing quiet spaces and privacy. There are as many windows as we could possibly fit, taking full advantage of the oceanfront view.
