The place was lovely and as advertised! The host team was very prompt in responding to a concern made at midnight and showed up promptly the next morning to check that the issue had been resolved. (Which it had been) Very friendly staff! Definitely recommend!

Super nice Waldport beach house!

House was clean, comfortable, and spacious.Worked great for our group of 7 (ages 18-66).Beach, deck views, hot-tub, and gazebo were enjoyed daily by all.Easy access to grocery store (Ray's -- way better than average for such a small town) and other nearby beaches.

What a location!

The Cliff House in an amazing property. Unsurpassed view and location for 3 families. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every utensil we could ask for, and the grill was fantastic for all of us as well (16 hamburgers at once!)Beds were comfy with extra beddings. Gazebo was used daily for storm watching as well as the hot tub.Only complaint is that housekeeping completely forgot the Mother-in-law quarters which was well used the trip before us (really dirty bathroom with other peoples hairs, razors, and other nasty stuff, sheets had seen vigorous activity) when we texted Meredith lodging they said that would send over the cleaners, which happened the next day. This led to one couple sleeping on the couches. I asked about some type of restitution but they blew it off.Other than that, really enjoyed the property.

This was a perfect space for our family of twelve. The home is very spacious and clean with the most fantastic view. We all agreed we would come back in the future.

Great view needs TLC

The house had a great view but was not very clean. Paid a significant amount for the view and I bought glass cleaner and washed the outside of the windows to see the view. Stairs to mother-in-law suite are falling apart. Dangerous for anyone not nimble and paying attention. Gas grill knobs didn’t shut off the gas, so we shut the tank off to avoid injury! The house is in an incredible location, but it needs some TLC.

Cliff House stay

Overall enjoyed our stay at the Cliff House. Deck view to bay and ocean are wonderful. House was clean, property manager communicated well, check in process was great. We had an issue attempting to turn up hot tub. I called Meredeth Lodging, technician was onsite troubleshot and adjusted temp to desired range in less than an hour. Very responsive. Only disappointment was some of the pictures such as golf putting green should be updated. The putting green is worn and no longer playable. Location is great other than beach access a bit difficult.

Annual guys weekend

Getting together to see near and far friends once per year over the NFL championship playoff weekend is always much anticipated. Good food, good friends and the ocean just outside. What more could you need? This property through Meredith Lodging will not disappoint. From the open concept main level and ample kitchen space to comfortable beds, the house delivered. We appreciate that the PM came out to replace the empty propane tank within 12 hours; although, the grating and insides unfortunately had visible mold growth than needs cleaning with the rest of the home. Other than this, we found the property provided almost everything we wanted (ping pong, shuffleboard, pool table, etc would be great addition) with broad expansive views of the ocean, a well kept hot tub and easy access to the beach.

We travel often and use VRBO or those types of rentals often, this is easily in my top ten. I loved this home so much we already booked it again for next summer. Thank you for a clean, awesome, as described getaway! We loved it.

Waldport House

We arrived on 7/19 be aware the code for the front door is not the same for the MIL suite. To get to the MIL suite you have to go to go outside on the deck and up stairs to a completely separate room/sleeping apartment. It was fine for my husband and I although the lighting could be a little tricky and we did need a flashlight to help us. On our 2nd night one of the upstairs bathrooms leaked over the bathroom downstairs and the water/ceiling fell on my niece. We had to make a call after midnight to let them know and they said a plumber would be out in the morning. We did not use that bathroom (water was leaking over the toilet) or the other 2 upstairs bathrooms as we did not know which bathroom was leaking. That was tough for 10 people. The plumber did not come but someone from the management company came and it looked like it was repaired. I called the management company and spoke w/Jordan to see if we could use all the bathrooms now. She said she did not know but would call me back. She never did and I called and left 2 more messages and never got an answer. AGAIN VERY TOUGH W/10 PEOPLE. I did call the next day and spoke w/Brian and asked about some sort of refund for the inconvenience. He said he would check on this, but again to this day, I have not heard a word. I also mentioned to him the freezer filter light was blinking red and the heating vent in the kitchen was filthy. Incredible house just needs some love and care and attention to detail.

Lovely View, Check Details!

This house is lovely and updated nicely. The view is incredible and we had a great time for our high school girl getaway (we are in our 60s now). I think the description of the property is misleading with the bedroom count. There is one bedroom on the main level and three upstairs. The 5th bedroom is actually a Mother in Law apartment with a separate listing and you get there by going upstairs from the deck. Also, the beach access is tricky--you have to walk along the highway to get to it or go down a treacherous path, kind of scary! The front steps into the house are very narrow and the heavy outside door won't stay open on its own, you have to prop it open while carrying all your things so it could be difficult for many. Otherwise, it was spotless and the view from the deck and all the sitting areas was perfect! One more thing--it is represented by both VRBO and another rental company and the people we could contact from the listing didn't know much about the house. "sigh"

Wonderful Property

Fantastic great room for watching movies or playing games at the table. Plenty of room for our family (3 older kids) to spread out and have their own teen areas. Pizza place and breakfast close by.

Amazing Views - House not as described

Couldn't leave a review until 5 months after stay. Had some issues, reached out a few times during the stay (emails and a few voicemails, never heard back). House was extremely cold (low 50s) and not all the heaters worked. It took a full 24 hours with all the heaters that did work to achieve a comfortable temperature of 66 degrees. Multiple issues with the listing: - Listed double ovens, only one oven (cooking for a large family gathering) - Add listed two main floor bedrooms, there is only one. had multiple elderly family members. - Broken furniture (chairs and coffee table) - Stuck / broken doors View is amazing and the house is good, but being so cold and not having enough heaters along with the missing/broken items took the overall experience down. Value did not match cost.

Retreat With Friends

This is a wonderful place to watch the winter storms blow in. The home is spacious and comfortable for 9 adults. Everything was clean and in working order. We were glad that we brought firewood for the woodstove, as the mornings and evenings were a bit chilly. The lap blankets were also much appreciated.
