After a busy day, unwind in comfort with cozy beds, a refreshing shower with great water pressure, and a cup of coffee provided to kick-start your mornings. Enjoy fun activities like ping pong, darts, and a variety of board games to make the most of your downtime. The home is located on a quiet street, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the location, only 20 minutes from the trailhead of the famous McAfee Knob and the “Triple Crown” hikes, some of the most scenic in the area. Plus, if you're just passing through, you’ll find easy access, only an 8-9 minute drive off I-81. Please note, while cable TV isn’t available, you can still enjoy streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and more for your entertainment throughout your stay

Pros: reasonable rates, comfy sofas, plenty of TVs and Rokus, fluffy/soft towels, convenient location, string lights on patio a nice touch.Cons: in desperate need of blackout blinds (between this and the incredibly loud landscaping the first morning, never did get a decent night’s sleep). Upstairs bedroom was the darkest option (speaking of, the overhead light didn’t work), but one side of the mattress had a sizable depression that made it a no-go for us. Could only get scalding hot water in the shower or icy cold, no middle ground at all (had to opt for cold). Bathroom doorknob repeatedly came off, even trapping me in the bathroom for an extended period of time as I struggled to get the knob back on and the door open. Second stair to basement also seems on verge of breaking, so use with caution. Host did not send instructions on how to access the house (however, she did respond quickly when prompted).

Girls getaway. I cannot say enough about how perfect everything was. The communication, amenities, games!,location. We went to a concert one day then hiked macaffee knob and bottom creek preserve. Downtown has amazing restaurants and cocktail bars. Location was perfect.

Very cute place ! It had everything we needed for our stay ! Parking was convenient, the back yard was set up nicely . The basement was fun with the ping pong table . All rooms were clean and refreshing. Emily was very nice and gave us all the information needed. Would like to stay again in the future .

Absolutely fantastic. The house is super clean and very cute. The amenities were really well thought out - soft fluffy towels, good sheets and a really well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. Water pressure in the shower is great. One of the best rentals I’ve stayed in. Backyard is super cute too with a great seating area. The neighborhood is good, it’s near a grocery store and the driveway is long if you did need to park multiple cars. For the price especially, I would highly recommend this house.

This is a sweet older home and cozy just like the description on VRBO. Furniture and beds are comfy and everything we used worked great. The nearby restaurants and stores are very convenient and this will be a definite 'go-to' next time we're up here!

Cozy little place with lots of extra’s in case you forgot something. This is the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at with Vrbo. The host was very friendly and responsive. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon.

Convenient for great VA hiking!

My two girlfriends and I wanted to do the Triple Crown as separate day hikes. This was the perfect place to stay--only 15-20 min from the trailheads. Roanoke had plenty to offer for after our hikes and Emily's house was very comfortable to stay and cook dinners at night. We would definitely stay here again for future hiking trips.

Great cozy place

It is a really nice place to stay and decompress after a long day on the road. Very clean and a very homely feeling property. Host was great and communicated in a very timely manner. Instructions were very easy and straight forward. Would love to stay there again and can certainly recommend to others.
