Welcome to The Knotty Pine a Cozy Cabin on the Coosawattee River located within the Coosawattee River Resort. 3 bedroom 2 full baths with sleeping accommodations for up to 6. Enjoy a crackling fire in the fireplace from the comfort of the couch or recliner or the outdoor firepit riverside. Emphasis has been placed for all those who like cooking. We have a Pittboss pellet smoker/grill combo, microwave/airfryer, Kitchenaid professional grade mixer, crockpot, Belgian waffle maker, and many other common kitchen gadgets! Enjoy views of the river from the screened in back porch or our riverside 16' x 16' deck by the firepit. Coosawattee River Resort has many amenities for your enjoyment... 3 pools (1 indoor heated for year around enjoyment), arcade, putt putt golf, gym and much more!

4th of July Trip

Beautiful property, accurately described in listing. Ease of dealing with PO’s is exceptional. This was our 2nd time staying and we will be back. The ease to downtown Ellijay is exceptional. Pool also is minutes away. Great place!

Wonderful cabin! Super welcoming hosts. It was clean & cozy. Will definitely recommend to others!

Cabin was super clean & cozy. Hosts were very accommodating. Hot tub was very relaxing as was sitting down by the river. We rented the Ranger & cruised around the resort. Had a picnic at Fish Trap Park. It was a wonderful time.

The knotty pine

Fantastic property. Cute cabin right on the Coosawattee river. Michael is a really nice guy who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are taken care of. We had plenty of room for our stay with 2 adults and 4 teens. The Coosawattee River Resort has plenty to do like fishing, tubing or going to the pool or rec center. There are wineries, apple orchards, hiking trails, waterfalls etc within a short drive. You will love your stay here.

Perfect Place

We loved everything about this place. There was so much to do at the house and the rental of the side by side was an added bonus. It gave us the opportunity to explore the beautiful resorts and its parks. Great host and cozy cabin close to town. We will definitely be renting this one again. parks.

This time I talked the whole family into joining me. We really enjoyed the view, the quiet, and the kitchen. The hot tub was fun and riding the Ranger was the best!

If you've stayed at VRBO's before, you start to recognize properties that are owned by a corporation vs those handled by the individuals that actually own and care about the property. These folks care about the house. They care about your stay. Lots of little details that let you know they want you to come back. We stay in Coosawattee often. This house is super close to one of the gates and it's all paved roads to the house. The street has almost no traffic on it, but you will hear some road noise from across the river. We've already booked our next stay. Looking forward to it.

Beautiful place

The cabin was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. We loved the landscape in the backyard. It is easy to walk to the river. We loved roasting hot dogs & marshmallows on the fire pit & eating outside.

Everything we needed

The cabin provided everything we needed and them some! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the hot top was relaxing, and the outdoor fire pit was just what we needed to unwind. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Our family of six enjoyed our stay. We really enjoyed tubing on the river. My children loved the amount of deer that we saw every day. It was very relaxing. Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with.

Great Family Getaway

Great long weekend!!

This was exactly what we wanted and we needed. The community is amazing, the house and location had everything that we needed and we were able to relax, unwind and just enjoy each other. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts are amazing and some of the best hosts we’ve ever worked with.

Great Place to Get Away

Great home with great hosts. The Knotty Pine had everything we needed for our vacation. The hosts are amazing! The one small thing we had to get past was having to check in with security every time we would leave. That is a small inconvenience vs how nice the property was.

Relaxing Vacation

We loved our stay in the Knotty Pine. It was super clean and cozy. Had everything you could think of needing. My son loved fishing the river and watching tv from the hot tub! Loved seeing deer from the front porch. Would def recommend staying here and we hope to visit again in the fall :)

River Adventure

The stay was great, owner was very helpful with allowing us to check in early and getting us out of a jam when we were on the river. The community was very nice and quiet, cabin had great river access and we really enjoyed the tubes and kayak. Would definitely do it again!

We have owned a very successful camper/pontoon rental company called Don't Rough It Camper & Pontoon Rentals since 2013 and have always talked about adding a cabin to our rental line-up. We have always loved the Ellijay and Blue Ridge area and have been looking for that perfect place and as of November 2021 we closed on The Knotty Pine!

The Knotty Pine is located right on the Coosawattee River within the Coosawattee River Resort. We really strive to place emphasis on a great cozy cabin stay by providing top of the line cooking options with our PitBoss Pellet/Grill Smoker Combo, microwave/airfryer, waffle maker and MUCH more! For those working vacations we do have fast wifi and desk work center. There are 5 smart TV's throughout the cabin and has many of your favorite streaming services, Hulu with local channels is provided :-) Enjoy a warm fire in the fireplace from the comfort of the couch or recliner or out by the firepit located riverside on our large 16'X16' deck. During the warmer season you can tube right from the backyard down to the resort pool which is about a 30 minute tube ride! Amenities cards are available so you can enjoy the resorts many amenities which include 3 pools (one indoor heated pool open year around), there is a putt putt golf course, tennis courts, arcade and conference center. Please note amenities card do come at an additional expense.
