With its "bohemian loft" décor, Hortense's chalet, located 50 m from the beach, welcomes you in a spirit of trust and conviviality in all simplicity. This is the top of my chalet with a surface area of about 100m2, comfortable and very bright. A living room with exposed framework, kitchen open to the living room/terrace, large enough to cook for 2 or 3, a rather practical office area with sea view and a terrace of about 20m2 sea view. On the living room level, a 1st bedroom 10m2 with private shower room space, bed 140, sheets on request only. On the mezzanine the 2nd bedroom, parental, with a surface area of about 20m2 with bath and sink, bed 140, accessible by a spiral staircase strongly not recommended for young children. On the first floor of the chalet is a private apartment that can be occupied occasionally by my 2 children (26 and 31 years old) who know how to be discreet and available if necessary. Its access is totally autonomous and separated from the top of the chalet. The garden space is therefore shared (as well as the washing machine) but at the chalets in Gruissan, there is no privatization of the outdoor spaces, just conveniences of respect for everyone's spaces. Parking is therefore "free" but you have to use common sense so that everyone can find their way around.
For safety reasons, the chalet is not suitable for very young children, and for the peace of the neighborhood the big noisy and late fiesta are not very well regarded. It should also be noted that it is possible that my two cats, Salsa and Mambo, will come in and squat in a corner of the sofa if you accept their presence. They have their summer habits at the bottom of the chalet but it is very likely that they come up from time to time.
All rooms are equipped with silent and very efficient fans.
Hortense's chalet is a chalet that lives all year round, you will find a pronounced soul, appreciable to those who can respect the place. You will be welcome there in all simplicity.
