Take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful Chattahoochee River when you stay at this charming riverfront oasis. With an unbeatable locale, find yourself within a 3 minute walk from town and close to the Oktoberfest grounds as well as a wide array of dining, shops, and attractions. Enjoy river views from the rocking chairs on the balcony, which features a gas grill. Ideal for privacy, dual suites each offer a luxe en suite bathroom and a cozy gas fireplace.

After fun-filled days, kick back in front of the gas fireplace in the welcoming living area. A full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar has all you need to prepare your favorite meals. This snowbird-friendly condo is on the second floor and provides elevator access, a washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, and free WiFi.

The condo was clean and conveniently located, the amenities were very nice. The gas logs in each room gave it a very cozy feel. It was a very nice place to stay. We loved it.

Awesome condo and location

This condo is beautifully decorated and the location is fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. I loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the screened in porch facing the river.

This condo was perfect for two couples to come and enjoy Oktoberfest in Helen. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and so close to everything! We loved the location, the 2 suites, and the screened in porch! We couldn’t have asked for more.

Very clean. Spacious for our family of 4. Loved being able to walk to downtown area to visit shops and restaurants. Vacasa very informative on check in and check out process which made it so easy and fast.

Lazy Bear Lodge

A perfect stay and in walking distance of everything in downtown Helen. A beautiful unit overlooking the river. We went the weekend after New Years and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I am sure during the days of summer its fun to watch the floaters go by and the bustle of the streets!

A Beary Good Time

The property was very nice. The weather was cool to cold the first part of our stay, so we made great use of the fireplaces. Everything we needed was at hand. My on-site questions were answered in a professional and timely manner. My friend and I had a wonderful time and we thank you.

Great Condo at a Fantastic Location

You can walk to everything from this Condo or sit and watch the tubers from the screened balcony. Condo is on second floor, parking underneath with a small elevator. Both rooms have an en-suite bathroom and the family/kitchen/dinning room is a very great size for 4 people. Water dispenser and ice dispenser work as well as the laundry equipment. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We visited for 5 nights and loved every minute. We were within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We just weren't aware of all the stairs...3 levels. There is an elevator but no access to it for guests. There is another unit on 2nd level that we weren't aware of and we're concerned until we spoke with manager because it appeared they had access to our unit.

The condo was very pleasant. It was very clean and accomodating. The deck and rockets were full of bird poop. We could not use the grill. Baby birds were nested underneath It took away from our plans

The property was nice and the location was excellent, everything was within walking distance. The one slight negative was that gas grill did not.work. We called two days in a .row to report it. We.were.promised someone would come out to take care of it both days. No one ever came. Other than that it was a.good stay.

Great location for Helen

This place is great if you want to stay within easy walking distance of all the shops and tourist attractions. It also had a nice kitchen with well stocked cooking supplies. The back porch also offers a nice place to look out over the river. The biggest draw back was there entire place is a little dated. I don't mind old furniture, but they still use the old-fashioned key system and there was only one set of keys. I requested another set but was told that was all they had. This made it difficult for 4 adults heading different directions to keep from getting left stranded downstairs without a key (you need a key to access the stairs). Upgrading to a keypad or key card system would greatly improve the experience.

Perfect Place for Helen

We could not have been happier with Riverside Bears Den. The home was clean and comfy. The location was amazing! We walked everywhere in town. We played mini golf and escape rooms, tasted local restaurants and coffee shops plus shopped the touristy places too. The screened back porch overlooking the river was a favorite place to relax. We often took a short drive to hike to different views and waterfalls. We stayed a week in March and could’ve stayed longer to find more trails and mountain views. There is a Walmart grocery store only 15-ish minutes away for stocking up your fridge or you can walk to the Dollar General or Betty’s Country Store (wish we had found this one sooner). The elevator was unexpected and super helpful for loading and unloading and the cart for community use was also a happy surprise. Wish it was just a little warmer so we could tube the Chattahoochee. Guess we’ll just have to come back!
